What is your current skincare routine for your body?

I have never had a great skincare routine for my body – nothing I have stuck with consistently unless I was actively testing a new product. I use OUAI body wash and Kiehl’s Creme de Corps for hydration mostly.

I have pretty bad keratosis pilaris, so I use the Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy cream in the tub, it’s the only thing that makes a real difference for me. It smells like sour feet though, so I only use it at night. In the morning I use the CeraVe moisturizing cream and/or the La Roche Posay Anthelios Melt-In Milk sunscreen (when I remember).

I recently discovered the OUAI body (and scalp) scrub and I love it – the scent, the product itself – everything. I’ve always liked using body scrubs and have a lot of them but this is my newest favourite. My skin is so dry that I try to use shower oils or creams on my limbs and torso, chest, etc. but when I’ve been working out, I like a marine scented or herbal smelling (or citrus) foaming body wash. Recently, I got one from REN that was really discounted and I’m kicking myself now for not buying 2 or 3 more bottles. Again, because my skin is so dry (and my operated on leg especially), I’m using thick, rich, anti-flaking type products that won’t irritate – La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume AP has been a god-send since the end of October, along with Weber Vitamin E ointment. Need I say that 2 of my favourite Body Shop body creams have been discontinued? (Spa of the World Hawaiian Kikui and Japanese Camellia creams, along with the really lovely Brittany Coast body wash….you can bet if I love something, it WILL be discontinued!)

I shower every day
I exfoliate my elbows
I lotion
et voila.

Frankly, the concept of “whole body skin care” feels like a cash grab by an already bloated cosmetics industry. Every time I see an ad for like a butt mask I get mad, lol!

I kind of have a intensive body routine, and most products are from Paula’s Choice because it’s the only way I can avoid eczema / dermatitis.

Body wash: Paula’s Choice Body and Hair Shampoo (the only things I’ve been using for years)
Body lotion: Paula’s Choice AHA Treatment twice a week, currently using the Phytoestrogen Elasticity Renewal Body Treatment as a body lotion the rest of the evenings, but usually I get the body butter
Deodorant: Native unscented. I’m also using my face Vitamin C serum mixed with my body lotion just because I can’t finish it on my face until it expires. 😆

Very little! I use OGX Smoothing Coconut Coffee Scrub and Wash in the shower daily, followed up with either Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream if it’s cool weather, after swimming or when I’ll be staying indoors or going out late in the day during our very warm to hot season running from April thru October. If I’ll be out in direct sunlight and it’s short sleeve/tank top weather, then I use a mineral sunscreen after my shower: Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion with SPF 15.

I wish I had more of consistent body care routine. On a reg, either Kopari coconut body wash or Molton Brown red peppercor shower gel (& Honeypot sensitive foaming wash, new found love). I like shaving w/ L’occitane almond oil wash. I find it a great substitute for shaving cream & smells delish. I did get the Necessitaire (sp?) exfoliant, body serum & lotion, but have yet to try it 🙄 When I have time, it’s Kopari coconut body butter mixed w/ some Osea Algae oil. Special occasions I bust out the bum bum cream.

I have had to have a reasonable skincare routine for my body as I am prone to skin flakiness on my legs and arms for a long time.
In the shower, I rotate a number of soap free body washes – Dermaveen’s Oatmeal body wash, Cetaphil’s one, Dermese, Dermal etc – whatever is on sale and is hydrating to my skin.
After my shower I use a body lotion from the above brands that are fragrance free, quick absorbing and hydrating on my arms, chest and legs.
For my feet, I tend to use either Dermal’s Foot cream or Scholls, as they are all pretty good.

I use a scented body oil from various retailers in the Spring and late winter to take care of really itchy skin. On areas where I have callous or skin that flakes, like my heels and sometimes my shins, I use an alpha hydroxy product from Paula’s choice to encourage exfoliation and soften the skin. I use a moisturizer (tallow balm) from Vintage tradition on dry areas, especially my hands which tend to get washed over 20 x a day (I work in a hospital and have to wash hands). I get regular pedicures all year with the wax treatments to soften. And, I use sunscreen from the Spring Solstice until Samhain. Other than that, I agree that body care is pretty much a cash grab. I only do the moisturizers and oil treatments when I need to and this is probably due to age and living in a very dry climate. When I was younger and living in a more humid environment, other than SPF, I really did not need any of that stuff.

I apply body butter sporadically in the evenings after my shower sometimes.
And I always wear sunscreen on my arms (different sunscreen for face/neck).
That’s…. basically it lol.
I do use body soap in the shower too. So there’s that.

Not much. In the shower, salicylic acid body wash and an exfoliating washcloth. Occasionally before showering, I’ll dry-brush or use the Ordinary’s peeling solution (the red one notorious for being overused by people on TikTok) on the parts of my body that need extra turnover. And every now and then, a foot peel. I can’t really be bothered to moisturize anything regularly except the backs of my hands, only if some part of my skin is somehow painfully dry.
