I’ve been spending too much money on makeup recently, so it would have to be at least 50%.
I’ll go look at 25%, but it depends on the price point of the product (and well it tested) if I buy at 25% or pass. My exception is indie brands; I tend to look at 10% off+ for them.
Because I already SANK my beauty budget for this month, especially when I went for the SG In Mel’s Memory bundle and empty palette, there’s just nothing left for Black Friday! 😅🤷🏻♀️😭
Didn’t you have most of these shades? This selection is beautiful and so appropriate for a Mel tribute. The swatches are lovely and she was such an incredible artist.
Believe it or not, I only ever had SG x Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels and all 3 of Christine’s palettes with them and all in the Deep versions, KJH!
If I had to do it all over again, I would have only gotten the Deep for Quintessence, but Light for On The Horizon and Radiant Reflection.
You can get the light shades that are available in singles from the Temptalia palettes, maybe? :).

I mean… most brand website have 20-25% deals every 1-2 months these days.
I use Capital One Shopping, and holy cow have I gotten a lot of money in cash back, which then can go towards a gift card. I use the extension on Safari and it also automatically applies any promo codes. It tries every promo code to see which one saves me the most money. It’s probably something everyone uses, (an app/extension like that), but it’s newer to me and I find it very exciting, lol.
A good 30-40% off would get me looking at the product, especially if it were a skincare item that I regularly use and half price would be fantastic for a perfume or cosmetic item. There’s really not much I need, but I do use the sales to stock up on some basics (foundation, mascara etc) and sometimes to try out a new skincare brand to me.
I agree.. I have so much I really don’t need anything at all. I haven’t made a purchase from the Sephora sale.. and honestly, I am not motivated with 15% or 20%. Since signing up on the individual brand sites .. their sales are so much better I have really bought directly.. and the Ulta sales 21 days of beauty and 21 days of hair.. are even better at 50%… so for now I guess I am good….
Same as you, a significant discount. Otherwise I just dont see a point in spending the money since its almost never for anything I “need”.

It depends on the brand, but 30% or more sounds right.
Since I need nothing 40-50% is the only thing that would have me take a look.
40-50% is the minimum for a recession year where sales are at near-screeching halt and retailers and brands are DESPERATE to unload inventory. Just waiting patiently here for the inevitable. And Pat’s “accidental” 50% off, whenever that happens again.
The sales post Christmas this year are where it’s at. They might have to pay US to store their unsold goods.
