What "indie" brand do you wish got more attention?

Fyrinnae for sure. They’ve been around for basically ever, but I feel like I really don’t hear that much about them in the larger community.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I used to love their old lippies from 15 years ago. I remember having a few of Fyrinnae colors. I used to get samplers of their wilder colors for Halloween. Around 18 years ago, my friends and family dressed up as generic superheroes for Fantasy Fest and I did everyone’s make up from Fyrinnae samples.

I used to love Silk Naturals. They have mostly loose shadows but I keep a few colors on hand. I always go there if I like just one color in a palette to see if they tried to clone it. Dark Arts (gorgeous olive green), Vine (another green) and Saddle Up (UD Side Car inspired) are repurchases for me. I haven’t in a while, but I use to press their powders into pans for travel. Their pigments have no fillers, like Fyrinnae.

Fyrinnae definitely deserves more attention! Their Pixie Epoxy is one of my staple products. As for other brands… I’d say Glaminatrix Cosmetics – all of their eyeshadows are A+ in my book.

Also Necromancy Cosmetica for fun lipstick colours, Touch of Glam for super sparkly eyeshadows and Eccentric Cosmetics – they have a nice lipstick/lipgloss formula and I’m keen to try their colourful eyeliners! Oh, and Crow & Pebble have nice eye primers.

Rituel De Fille. I’m really not sure why bigger youtubers don’t talk about them at all. The only people I follow who talk about them are smaller youtubers who generally talk about indie brands more. I know their products are a high end price point but I love them.

Yes! Fyrinnae for sure! Especially for the multichromes. Even their “regular” shadows are so, so good! One of my favorite lipsticks ever came from them, too.

My #1 favorite indie brand, and one of my favorite brands in general, is Aromaleigh. I highly recommend them, especially if you have sensitive skin. All of their products are wonderful!

Waiting here for Rachel’s comment. She is the guru of Indie brands and following her on Facebook and IG has given me so many glimpses into Indie brands. Personally, I only really started looking at Indie brands in the past few months. I love Give Me Glow, Clionadh, Devinah, Fyrinnae and Kaleidos.

On the subject of Clionadh, I can’t get over their amazing customer service. I have had a lot of interactions with smaller businesses and the amount of time they devote to making sure their customers are satisfied, is difficult to do even for big companies. I received an email yesterday that they have pushed my order through so that it will arrive in time for my daughter’s Advent Calendar. I had mentioned it in the comment section of my order and they contacted me back immediately. I had purchased as part of the November release. At the time I ordered, September, she said that they would do what they could and they did. Just really appreciative and looking forward to their expansion. Thank you, Leigh.

I only say it cause it’s true!! As far as Clionadh goes, I have had a couple of interactions with them and all have been really pleasant and professional. They are expanding and hope to have a system in place to take more orders and process them in a quick manner. It is hard to transition from a kitchen table business to a mass produced market. Hopefully it will happen quickly and that quality doesn’t suffer. I think you will love them.
I haven’t been on Facebook much as I was ill for quite a little bit but hope your migraines are better.

Fyrinnae –though I’ve been a customer of theirs for years. Quality products. And I LOVE their perfumes too!!
Meow Cosmetics -if this store ever closes I think I will cry because their mineral foundation is my HG.
Devinah and Terra Moon deserve more hype.
JD Glow and Give Me Glow, though I do think they are more known now than even a year ago.
