Right now, typically Kiehl’s Tinted Moisturizer if I’m not doing full makeup or MUFE HD if I am (trying to get through that bottle!).

I waffle between MAC Face and Body foundation and LUSH’s new Colour Supplements (I mix mine with MAC Strobe cream to make tinted moisturizer) for every day.

If I’m going out and I want to look really flawless, I’ll use Revlon Photoready or MAC Hyperreal foundation with Fix+ and a 187 brush. 🙂

I am also really fair with a lot of redness I need covered. The best liquid foundation I’ve found so far is Shiseido Dual Balancing makeup in shade 100. I have tried a lot of different foundations and this one is great for pale skin and also for my combination skin problems. It is very comfortable to wear and it evens out my complexion nicely. It also doesn’t seem to oxidize on me ever and with primer I only need to powder my face once near the end of my shift when I’ve put it on before work.

I only use mineral foundation. My all time favorite’s Meow Cosmetics Pampered Puss foundation and I also like Alima’s Satin Matte Foundation which gives me a bit more coverage than Meow.

Svetlana Avatar

MAC’s Studio Fix powder plus foundation or Clinique superfit makeup foundation. Recently I was trying to use Clinique skin smoother but it’s a very bad product …at least for me.

Maybelline SuperStay Foundation is pretty much the best foundation in the world. It really does last for 24 hours like it says and keeps my disgustingly oily skin at bay. I cannot live without it!

Right now, L’Oreal True Match powder foundation in W3. It gives me the best color match (tried Clinique, Lacome, and even Shiseido and they all turn out pink on me!!).

L’Oreal is not the best quality and I’m on the look out for one from a higher end brand. I used to use Shu Uemura’s Finishing Powder Foundation in the 900 range (900s are for the extreme yellow undertones) but sadly it has been discontinued ever since Shu left the US 🙁

It’s a mixup between Revlon’s Colorstay and Shiseido’s Sun Protection Compact Foundation SPF 34 PA+++. I’m trying to burn through my Bare Minerals (which I really don’t like) but it’s taking so doggone long!

I don’t normally wear a full face of foundation, but I love a liquid one I have from Lancome… don’t remember the exact name of the top of my head, but it’s wonderful!

Kat Avatar

Revlon New Complexion liquid foundation for now, but I have less than half of it left so I just picked up Almay Clear Complexion makeup, which has 0.6% salicylic acid added in, so I have kinda high hopes for it. Neither of them have a pump though, which annoys me, I’d rather pay the extra dollar for it.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid foundation is probably the one I reach for most often. I’ve just got the new Guerlain Lingerie de Peau foundation though which is lovely, so will try to use that as well.

Hi!
I used to wear Dior skin forever in ivory but it never felt right. I didn’t like the coverage and after a few hours it started showing up on my face. Then I tried a mineral foundation (without much hope), by brit brand Lily Lolo, and never went back. Great coverage and it stays on my oily skin sometimes for >8 hours (including 1 hour of Pilates), without primer. My skin but beter feeling.

at the moment i use clinique’s suprfit make up!! i love it because the formula is very liquid!!.. that’s why it als looks very natural!!

before i used clinique’s superbalanced make up.. i loved this one as well.. bu i think i like the superfit a bit better because of its formula!!

clinique’s foundations are great!

I have been trialing foundations all summer, so I wear something differnt most days. I have been rotating MUFE HD (not sure about), EL Double Wear and Double Wear Light, Chanel Mat Lumiere(wish I could return), and LM Silk Creme (will probably return). I plan on trying the new MAC one. I am just really indecisive.

Tasha Avatar

None. I have young good skin, so I’ve stopped using foundation on a daily basis and my skin is even better than before. Sometimes I’ll toss on some MSF natural

Charlene Avatar

mary kay whether its tinted moisturizer, mineral powder, or medium coverage liquid but I am thinking of switching to bare minerals b/c at my age I need the added spf

LorraineER Avatar

I’ve been using Meow Cosmetics Mineral foundation all summer- it’s great and it doesn’t get mangled by the humidity as much as my others do.
I was wondering about MUFE HD…I might try that as it gets cooler out.

VeroJo Avatar

For full makeup look, I use Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra. For quickie looks, I use Lancome’s Bienfait Multi-Vital Teinte tinted moisturizer. I am a Lancome foundation girl! Tried other stuff, but doesn’t work out and I go back to Lancome.

mela Avatar

MUFE HD in 115 *always!* i love how they have such a great range of colors and the foundation feels soft and smooth with light, buildable coverage. i always feel extra glam when i wear it!

Keener Avatar

I try to change my daily routine, so I guess that mean is that I don’t have a routine at all. I alternate depending on how much time I have in the morning. Usually, I use Laura Mercier Tinted Oil Free Moisturizer – it’s quick. Once a week or so I would use MAC Mineralized Studio Fix (that’s probably not what it’s called) and the Coastal Scents HD foundation.

Vanessa Avatar

I currently switched from Dior Forever Liquid to Chanel Mat Lumiere. So far I like the coverage. I have fair skin with pink tones and have trouble matching my color.

Christy Avatar

Because I’m a bit lazy, MAC Studio Fix Powder plus Foundation. Other days I will use MAC Selection SPF 15 Foundation for more coverage. For special occasions or days when my skin doesn’t look so hot, I use MAC Studio Sculpt.

Maria Avatar

I have a collection of foundation right now trying to find the right one for my skin type and that matches my skintone without being to yellow or make me orange because I’m soo fair but right now I find myself reaching for my MAC’s Face & Body because it’s so light coverage it makes my skin look amazing.
🙂

Courtney Avatar

I swear by Meow Cosmetics powdered mineral foundations. Their lightest coverage looks very natural while balancing out redness in my skin. For heavier or theatrical coverage, I go with Lumiere’s Veena Velvet or Luminesce foundations.

I break out easily from regular foundations and they never covered my redness. I thought I’d never be able to wear the stuff until I discovered powdered mineral foundations. Cue the angelic choir! *Aaaahhh!*

Krista Avatar

I use Everyday Minerals in fairly light, everything else I’ve tried seems to break me out terribly, especially MAC foundations 🙁 Besides the fact Everyday minerals doesn’t break me out, it is inexpensive and provides good coverage 🙂

Trisha Avatar

I don’t use any foundation regularly. I’m just not a fan. I’d rather spend my time creating awesome eye shadow looks that slathering my face with foundation. But that’s just me. 😉

starr Avatar

MUFE pan stick. i dont need that much coverage but its the only foundation that comes in white! i want to get the white mac face and body soon though!

Amanda Avatar

I used to use Lancome Teint Idole, which I loved but the staying power was less than stellar.

Right now my HG is Revlon Colorstay in the Combo/Oily formula. I like medium-to-full buildable coverage that isn’t super matte but doesn’t let much of my oil shine through either. This stuff STAYS on, so you really have to scrub to get it off. My only complaint with it is that it doesn’t do a very good job covering my porous and shiny nose. But it’s SO CHEAP (as low as $10). I use this in conjunction with the MUFE HD primer in green (love it) and the MUFE HD silica setting powder.

Foundations I want to try: MUFE HD, Guerlain Parure, Chanel Vitalumiere … thinking I’ll be more adventurous now that the weather is changing and I’m not sweating 24/7!

Phyrra Avatar

Meow’s Pampered Puss foundation in Inquisitive Siamese. Sometimes I tweak it with Snow Leopard (a pure white). However, this is one of the few foundations that I’ve found to match my skin.

I gave up on MAC when I finally realized that NW15/NC15 is really just too dark for me.

Katie Avatar

I’m experimenting with samples at the moment, but usually I’m trying to use up my Revlon Colorstays (which are awesome; I just get bored so easily!)

Melody Avatar

Clinique superfit…it’s my “boring” foundation that I run back to when experimenting with new foundations break me out =) it’s a lifesaver.

nicci Avatar

Currently using a sample of Chanel Teinte Innocence in Albatre but I still need something lighter! I also tried the new Guerlain’s foundation Lingerie de Peau but as usual, none of the colors work for me. I’m waiting for my friend to come back from Korea because they actually have ALL shades – I got the lightest one – Amber Pale.

Why do brands do this?! Frustrating! It would be nice if it was the same for everyone – provide all shades. 🙁

Miss Silver Avatar

Hwehh, a few days of not checking this blog and voila! My question is here! Hehehe… powder foundation for me because it’s hassle free! I cannot be bothered with liquid because it’s troublesome.

Melinda Avatar

I was using Maybelline mineral foundation but my skin broke out so i switched to Mac studio fix in nc35. Just two days ago i purchased Bare Minerals matte foundation and currently trying it for daily use. I used EDM golden medium but haven’t got a chance to purchase it again 🙂 for fuller coverage i use MUFE mat velvet+ 35 🙂
