As long there’s enough binder with the highlighter base so that the glitter disperses evenly and doesn’t fallout immediately, I’m good! I love some sparkle 🙂 Unfortunately, a lot of glittery highlighters have larger particle sparkle/glitter that just doesn’t stick to the skin.

I enjoy a glittery highlighter if the glitter is fine enough, but not so much a fan of highlighters with larger particles. Glitter, if done right can be beautifully blinding and make my cheeks look wet, but it can also emphasize fine lines.
You pretty much said it. I’m down with sparkle, as long as it stays put reasonably well. I’ll add that I’m not a fan of chunkier glitter in highlighters, either.
While I utterly despise chunky, large particle, flakey, or fallout prone glitter on my cheekbones, I really DO love flat-laying, smooth micro-glitter highlighters! As long as they’re soft enough and not anything obnoxious looking, I will wear them/buy them.
I don’t like any glitter, whether chunky or micro, in my highlighter. I also don’t like visible shimmer either. I just want a smooth, wet looking sheen.
When I think of glitter, I think of particles so I am definitely a no glitter thanks. Shimmer is lovely as long as it is very fine milled and glides on. I have one CP h/l which has very definitive particles in it and I never wear it.
Pretty much what everyone else has said. I need a nice shimmer, probably more on the satiny/sheen side of the scale, no glitter and not magnifying my texture. Any glitter really turns me off and I hate migrating glitter so I avoid it pretty much at all costs.
I love a sheer glittery highlighter!!! Opaque metallic highlighters are the worst to me. It should gleam wet not look like a streak of something on your cheek Bone
Personally, I don’t like glittery highlighter because I can’t stand all that glitter on my face and at the end of the day the often yellowish undertones turn my skin either yellow or orangey.
But I do like them on others.
I like nothing about glittery highlighter
I personally love it and the wet look it gives. I’ve never had any facial highlight that moved or had fall out. But I use primer and setting spray on the daily so I can’t speak to that.
Only con is if you are too heavy handed it emphasizes texture.
