Elemis Skincare travel kits are a must have. The tri-enzyme cleansing cream followed by their Apricot toner is nothing short of being in a spa.
Clinique 3 step system and youth surge moisturizer, Neutrogena eye makeup remover, Mac studio sculpt foundation, studio finish concealer and mineralize skin finish to set; Mac eyeshadows in charcoal brown, girlie, arena, shroom and shale (for a warm or a cool look), Maybelline the falsies mascara, Clinique cream shaper for eyes in chocolate lustre and Mac kohl eyeliner in feline; Mac bronzer in golden and mineralized blush in warm soul; Benefit lipstick in make nice, Mac lipglass in lovechild and viva glam VI. I would probably take more eyeshadows, lipsticks and glosses – I usually carry far too many!
The Clinique 3 step system and everything Neutrogena (except for the wipes) make my skin burn horribly! Then again, I’m so sensitive, most drug store products make my skin feel awful. 🙁
Makeup: Mac Pro Longwear foundation, MUFE HD powder, one of the Tarte 12 hour blushes, UD Naked2 Palette, UD liquid liner in Perversion, UD 24/7 liner in Zero,any waterproof Maybelline mascara MAC Creme de Nude Lipstick, Clinique gloss in Air Kiss and Mac Pink Nouveau Lipstick.
Skin care: Murad cleanser, Neautrogene Makeup remover and Mark. for goodness face antioxodant moistureizer
– My usual cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen, plus some olive oil for cleansing; most likely in travel bottles.
– Lip balm, dual-ended eyeshadow/pointed crease brush, travel sized eyeshadow primer, some loose eyeshadow in sample baggies (depending on which shades I’m planning to wear, most likely neutrals if I’m too lazy to plan out), black and white pencil eyeliner, pen/liquid eyeliner (like Dollywink or Physician’s Formula), travel sized mascara, coral, strawberry pink and red lipsticks, clear gloss, and maybe tinted eyebrow gel when I haven’t gotten the chance to dye my brows.
WELL, it depends on what the weekend entails. If I’m doing everyday things then I bring products that are my current, regular-use favorites. If I’m going to a concert, or some fun event, then I bring more color and fun makeup. If it’s an outdoorsy trip then I bring very, very little. If it’s just a weekend away, but doing fairly regular, everyday type things then I bring my staple products. I’ll bring whatever current makeup removers, cleansers, and other skincare products I’m using. I’ll bring NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, MAC Studio Finish Concealer, and MAC MSF Natural Powder, NARS Laguna Bronzer, and NARS Deep Throat Blush for face/cheek products. For eyes: UDPP, MAC Painterly Paint Pot, whatever neutral palette I’m feeling most at the moment, black pencil liner, and mascara. Then for lips I grab a good lip balm, a few current favorite lipsticks, and a clear gloss. And when I’m away, I bring a mechanical brow pencil over my standard MAC Charcoal Brown along with brow wax sticks or brow gel. I always bring a brow brush, tweezers, lash curler, cotton balls/q-tips, and only a few brushes.
I don’t have tons of makeup, due to being a broke teen most of the time :p
So all of mine just fits in my makeup bag, so I bring it all 🙂

Granted my trip was a little more than a weekend, as I left Thursday and returned home Monday, and I did overpack quite a bit in hindsight. But I tried to be economical…And there’s only so much you can fit into those little 3-1-1 bags! 🙂
This is such a hard question!
For skincare I would bring Burt’s Bees Deep Pore Scrub, whichever moisturizer I can get my hands on (if you have any favorites, please recommend!), and coconut oil for multitasking purposes.
As for makeup, I’d bring whichever concealer I’m using at the time (again, recommendations are welcome!), MAC’s cremeblend blush in Posey, Benefits Highbeam, Urban Decay’s Naked2 palette, MAC’s Feline kohl liner and blacktrack fluidline, Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes mascara, YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in #3 Juicy Grapefruit, Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment, and Burt’s Bees lip balm.
And then I’d grab a handful of things I might, but probably won’t, need. 🙂
Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, LM undercover pot, Benefit creaseless cream eyeshadow in RSVP, Urban Decay Naked palette, Clinique brush on cream eyeliner, mascara of the moment, Annabelle white kohl eyeliner, Tarte Dollface blush, Revlon Lilac lipstick, face wipes, face wash, toner, day and night cream. Skin care products are in flux right now, so I don’t know what I’d take!
Clarisonic, Dermalogica Precleanse, a toner, LUSH Vanishing Cream, Dermalogica “Bedtime for Breakouts” (LOVE these!), a mineral sunscreen… Not sure about makeup! Probably a tinted moisturiser, an eyeliner, a nude eyeshadow, mascara, Burt’s bees lip balm and a lippie.
For skincare: my La Roche Posay products. and a good body moisturizer, I can’t go without that. A body butter from The Body Shop ( mango or moringa or shea butter )
the BB Cream from Clinique
A pretty blush such as Mallorca from Cargo, Rosy Glow from Dior or Hervana, maybe 2 blushes
A trio from Nars, maybe Delphes
2 lipticks Nars or Chanel
A good mascara maybe Bad Gal from Benefit
And a good highlighter, either M.A.C Liquid Powder or High Beam from Benefit.
Maybe a loose powder too, Poudre Universelle Libre from Chanel or les Voilettes from Guerlain.

I’m on a weekend trip now! I brought with me my Neutrogena fresh foaming face wash, Paula’s Choice skin balancing toner, Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid, Paula’s Choice skin recovery antioxidant serum, and my Cerave AM (SPF 30)and PM moisturizers.
Makeup-wise, I actually didn’t bring anything this time, but normally I would bring my primer (Victoria’s Secret Pro FX SPF 20), foundation (MAC Studio Fix powder), the Too Faced Leopard Love bronzer/blush/highlighting palette, one of my Too Faced eyeshadow palettes, eyelash curler and mascara (some Loreal Paris kind I forget which XD) and my mini set of Benefit lip and cheek tints 😀

It depends on where I’m going – I’d bring really different makeup for a weekend trip home a weekend trip to Vegas!
But, usually something along the lines of MUFE HD foundation, benefit hoola to contour, mac flower fantasy pearlmatte to use as a highlighter and a blush, naked palette, wet n wild greed palette, prestige total intensity eyeliner in deepest black (plus a sharpener – learned that one the hard way . . .), mascara, a couple lipsticks. add some false eyelashes if i’m going to vegas!
i travel 4 times a month via plane for work (carry on only) and i cannot stress enough how multi tasking and efficient Argan Oil is. I’ve used Josie Maran’s small $14 and have been refilling it with the $9 GardenofWisdom.com version since. I use it as a facial moisturizer (and i have oily skin) anddd as a hair treatment/defrizzer. Saves a lot of space in your plastic TSA-sized bag!
You have me hooked on Gypsy duo! Love it! Plus you get so much product it lasts FOREVER, I have used so much and hardly a dip in there.
Gotta try the Parure Gold foundation next!

I’m not much of a makeup wearer, so I probably wouldn’t bring the JM palette because then I’d have to pack a tiny bottle of my Neutrogena or Vichy makeup remover.
Most of my skin care would be in the form of the samples that Paula’s Choice gives out with each order. I’d pack the sun screen and hand lotion in a tiny travel container.
I actually have a weekend Disneyland trip planned in May. I intend to bring my “staple” makeup bag that includes:
* Both UD Naked pallettes
* NARS Duos in Bellissima, All About Eve, & Madrague
* L’Oreal Quad in The Neutrals
* Wet N Wild eye pencils in brown & black (depends on hair color)
* Whatever black liquid eyeliner & mascara I’m using
* Whatever foundation/concealer/powder I’m using
* Physician’s Formula Tinted Moisturizer/Powder SPF 50+, for outdoor activities
* Lip balm, UDPP, a pearl white eyeshadow, SPF
* I’ll probably add some color shadows & lipstick closer to the trip, as I have a nighttime function to attend, but I have to decide what I’m wearing first. I usually hit up Sephora at Downtown Disney every year, but I plan to skip it this year; I plan not to buy *any* makeup until October, with the NARS Warhol & MAC Marilyn collections due out. We’ll see how that works out…
As far toiletries & cleansers, I transfer my everyday products into travel size bottles and use those daily so I can have them ready at a moments notice, as I *will* forget something if I don’t. I also keep a set of Essence of Beauty travel brushes to use if I forget to pack my regular brushes.

Yey, love this question since I’ll be heading to Hong Kong for the weekend. So far I’ve packed the following: Shiseido Sun Protect Liquid Foundation, and the Shiseido perfect Refining Liquid Foundation, my MAC Studio Finish Concealer, My Youngblood HD Powder, Makeup For Ever eyeshadow in #15 for my brows, my Urbn Decay Primer Potion, my Naked 2 Palette, My Benefit Hoola Bronzer, NARS Orgasm and Luster blushes with I use together, MAC Hug Me lipstick, Revlon Lip Butters in Red Velvet and Lollipop, Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach, Blush, and Fuschia, Mac Blacktrack and K-Palette 24 hr. Tatto Eyeliner, my Shu Uemura eyelash curler, Maybelline Falsies mascara, Benefit High Beam, Posietint, and benetint, and of course my brush roll.
I spent the weekend at my parents’ house and I brought the following products with me:
Bobbi Brown products: foundation, powder, nude palette you reviewed lately, Desert Rose blush
MAC Products: several brushes, 3 quads, 3 lipsticks, 3 kajals,
MUFE Products: Kabuki, Smokey lash,
2 OPI nail polishes
Burberry eyeshadow
Nars products: Luster blush, Orgasm lipgloss.

Way too much, as always. And where am I going? The minimum is sunscreen, skin care in small containers, Nars blush pallet, MAC holiday pallets eyes, two lipsticks, gloss, brushes. The basic face and fancy highlighters hinge on what’s up.
If its cycling- then a vat of SPF 50+ moisturizer, tub of hefty all over moisturizer, shampoo and body wash, (a day of sun and sweat is harsh!) tinted lip balm. Maybe some make up if there’s a party. OK, mascara, eye pencil and gloss, first aid and pressure bandages, hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle.
Think about this- you can get melanoma on your scalp; My cousin had a gifted doctor who looked and shaved hair off! She found three carcinoma in situ lesions, meaning he got them excised and is cured before he had skin cancer. Why mention it? Sports types, spray dry oil Suncreen on your scalp, at the hair roots. High SPF and sweat resistant. Helmets have vents, hats blow off or get forgotten, and chics who climb rock faces put their hair in a ponytail anyway. There is no scalp sunscreen product so fake it. Melanomas on the scalp happen more than you think, younger than ever. The dry oil (Neutrogena/ Walgreens) is the easiest and least onerous and washes right out. And get the ears and neck too.
