The Naked Palette. It’s not limited edition, thank goodness, it’s just super hard to get my hands on now 🙁 I saw it at Sephora and was telling myself I don’t need it but who am I kidding? I do need it D:

I have one, and I always check the shelves in Ulta and Sephora for a backup. I’ve used it constantly since it’s release, and you can barely see a dent in any of the shadows (because they’re full size, and like all UD eyeshadows, incredibly pigmented)… it’s such a great value for such a fun product!! Grab one the next time you see one – it’s sooooo worth it!! 🙂

My latest regret was Briar Rose BP. I tested it on my cheeks, but I didn’t buy it because I bought so many other things from VV. It was soon gone of course.
But then, a few weeks ago I bought it from eBay. They have hefty prices, but I hardly paid much extra, because our normal price for a BP is almost 40 USD anyways.

I regret not getting Mac Young Punk from the Style Black collection because I thought it had too much glitter but ending up buying the My Dark Magic shadow and love it which has about the same amount of glitter.

Leea Avatar

I haven’t really thought over a product and not buying it, I move on and wait for the next fun thing 🙂
but the Pearlglides, they are fab + amazing eyeliners! I have two and they work like a dreamm. Shame you didn’t get them 🙁

I regret not buying Estee Sea Turtle Solid Perfume.

I couldn’t justify paying that big amount of money, plus, it would be a complicated transaction since the item was not sold here.

> < Would've grabbed it!

Well I’ll be next to say that I regret not buying the UD Naked Palette when I saw it at Sephora in the city. I thought I could get it later, but now that’s impossible unless I’m willing to pay $70 on eBay! No way!

MAC Stereo Rose MSF and MAC Peach Blush Ombre. The worst part is the MUA at MAC told me he had one Stereo Rose left and did I want it? I bought Petticoat that day and told him no, that I didn’t think the stereo rose would be flattering on my skintone. What was I thinking?

Of course “MAC”‘s limited editions, they bring to Israel just a few of evrey product from the limited editions, sometimes I’m not sure about a lipstick or a blush and when I come back after a few days to buy it, it already “sold out”. It happened with “Prim and proper” powder in “Liberty of London”, and with the “Triumphant blush kit” from “Tartan Tale” and many others. When I bought the “black swan” eye pencil, they didn’t even put it on the counter of products, she took out the last one from the box.

MAC’s English Accents lipglass, I mean I bought two but it’s my favorite lipglass ever and i always get compliments when I’m wearing it. Hope MAC repromote it ASAP lol

I regretted not jumping onto the MAC wagon when MAC Fafi came out. I only jumped into when Cult of Cherry collection was out. Fafi’s collection had a lot of things I would have bought such as the paintpots, eye palette and l/s and l/g. Sigh.

I can’t believe during my MAC hiatus, I missed Venemous Vilians…I was only able to get 3 items. Every time I see a swatch/pic of VV products, my heart aches…lol!

I wish I were more into Mac last year. I regret not buying anything from the spring color forecast collection. Also I regret not get marine life or the peach ombre

Brenda Avatar

the rest of the Neo Sci Fi and Cool Heat collections. Those are still my two very favourite collections and to this day there are products I wish I had from them.

Scarlett Avatar

haha…yeah, when the Tartan Tales collection came out, I bought Undercurrent (missed it last time) and Black Swan. I had no clue that I would think BS was the “most beautiful eyeliner evaaaaahhh”.

jamie @ publicservicebeauty.com Avatar

Well… I usually have NO willpower, and buy everything I want on the spot, but last night I was in Sephora, and they had several BOS III on the shelf..I already have one, so I left it there for some other pretty lady..and I have a feeling I’ll be kicking myself later for not buying a backup.

Tekoa Avatar

Me too. Queen’s Sin came out just as I was getting into MAC. Didn’t get QS because I already had a red lipstick. Whyever would I need two? *facepalm*

baby in a corner Avatar

yes agreed i want queen’s sin. Not quite a dupe but if you are the UK/Ireland Barry M lip laquer in no 1 scarlet – its a red that gives you christmas bauble lips!

Ohhh, how I wish I’d gotten the Urban Decay Book of Shadows I.
(Gaahhh!!!)

Also, the Tarte palette from fall-ish 2009 . . . I forget the name of it, but it was a purple palette with square gold ‘studs’ on it.
I was too late. 🙁

(And Chicca, the UD Vegan Palette is STILL AVAILABLE online at Sephora – – I just saw it today. $34.00)

Lizzi Avatar

That tarte palette that you’re talking about is the femme fatale one. I used mine up and have been searching for a backup for months. No where to be found!!

leesie Avatar

UD’s Book of Shadows Vol. II. And it would have been nice if I’d been into UD in time to get the first.
I also very much wish I hadn’t taken a break from polish–there were some great China Glaze polishes I totally missed out on. Like the OMG collection–I’m glad Tronica’s coming up, and will hopefully satisfy my longing for it, but I still wish I’d been in a position to take advantage of it. And, do I ever wish I had had a shot at some old Urban Decay polishes.
Also, I really should’ve snagged a shadow or two from MAC’s Dare to Wear collection–they were beautiful.

leesie Avatar

Yeah, I didn’t have the money then. It was around the end of my pay period, and I had to make a payment on my student loan, and I do occasionally make sensible financial decisions…

Emily Avatar

So I’ve bought Urban Decay since the 90’s, including the np which were a huge deal then because NO ONE made those colors but them and I recall Shirley Manson was a huge fan at the time and I was way into Garbage… but I digress anyhow I bought a bunch of the OG nail polishes when they last
had them and the formula was horrid. Made me so sad. I still have my original mildew, smog, shattered, roach, snow, ABC Gum, asphyxia etc… So glad the original e/s are still mostly around.

Chanel beiges de chanel quad! also starflash shadows, and i totally regret not buying about 3 or 4 backups of femme-fi e/s, as i use it all the time.

arianne Avatar

a backup of MAC Straw Harvest or Evening Aura, such a gorgeous daily e/s! I already hit pan on SH waaaah… Also Lancome Voile de Rose lipstick and Chanel Dragon Rouge Allure 🙁

AnGeLwInGz Avatar

Actually I have tons of products I regret NOT not buying. I have wasted so much $ on stuff I don’t use but purchased just because it was LE. UWVC donation truck is stopping by next week and they are accepting cosmetics. Some lady out there is gonna be receiving almost the entire Dare To Wear collection and maybe even some Chanel goodies.

bxboricua Avatar

MAC blush ombre in Ripe Peach (it looked so nice on..why did I not get it?!), a backup for Liberty of London lipglass in Frankly Fresh (gorgeous!), Birds and Berries e/s, and Nice Vice paint pot

Alyssa Avatar

I am so wishing that I bought Urban Decay’s Naked palette when I saw it in Sephora. Now it can’t be found anywhere! I know they are supposed to be making more, but I really wish I had it NOW. 🙂

Moeko Avatar

Tartan Tale’s pigments set (the neutral brown ones…)It’s sold out at my nearby MAC store…. i might be still able to get it if i travel 2 hrs…

Sharon M Avatar

Most of the Orly Cosmic nail lacquers. The Sally Beauty near me only got in a few and they were gone before I could get anything but Galaxy Girl. I really, really wanted Space Cadet. The MAC near me also ran out of their Space Cadet dupe before I could get there. 🙁

Nicole Avatar

I can’t remember, I ever regreted not buying a product. I’m not into limited editions and I don’t believe in too much hype. I feel satisfied with all the stuff I own. Some products don’t get the attention they deserve. Right now I’m doing a make-up diet. I’m sick, I know, but I’m looking foreward to the Cham Pale collection.

Desiree Avatar

I regret not buying a mascara that’s GOOD for your eyelashes (natural ingredients or lash-growth, etc.) I now, feel weary when I put on regular mascara!

i regret not buying Make Up For Ever Face and Body sooner. This is my go to water based foundation for all skin types. It blends, is super sheer, i can contour and give a bronzed glow with it and best of all its a body foundation so looks amazing on arms and lets when doing bridal work. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.
