Wet ‘n’ Wild Olive Color Icon Eyeliner Pencil
Wet ‘n’ Wild Olive Color Icon Eyeliner Pencil ($0.99 for 0.04 oz.) is a dark olive green with olive, gold, and forest green micro-shimmer finished with a satiny sheen. It’s a little greener than Urban Decay Stash, but not as green as Stila Moray.
The coverage and pigmentation is good; it doesn’t quite deliver fully opaque coverage in a single pass, but it’s close. I recommend dulling the point of the pencil by swatching it on the back of your hand, because how it arrives is very, very sharp and uncomfortable to use on the lash line! It’s creamy enough to glide with very minimal tugging on the lash line, and it takes awhile to set, so it can be smudged if you so desire.
It lasts about six hours on the lash line, and it’s mostly faded by the eighth hour. It’s not a particularly long-wearing eyeliner on me, and it will smudge if the weather is warmer or if you accidentally rub your eye–it’s not forgiving at all, because it never completely sets in place. If you have watery eyes or live in a humid climate, this isn’t a go-to for all-day eyeliner. At this price point, you may find it’s worth experimenting with or picking up a color you know you would rarely wear.

Too bad it’s not long-wearing, because the color is gorgeous! I own Urban Decay Stash, but every time when I see a good olive green I still want it! The tip does look scarily sharp… not something I’d want near my eyes!
Once I set these with powder they do stay all day.
This color is gorgeous, too bad it doesn’t last all day! I hate when eyeliners get smudgy and fade, it just ends up making me look tired.
It’s a nice Color, but it reminds me of something I have in my stash..
I see what you did there…
I can’t remember if I have this one but they’re so cheap i’ll pick it up anyways and I am sure I have a matching shadow to set it.
I have these in all of the colors. I got them when they were all marked down to like $0.20 or they were they cheap on BOGO or something.. I was so excited, haha. They’re worth it for pigmentation and texture.. they work great as eyeshadow bases. =] I haven’t tried it, but now I’m wondering if I could depot them down into a base palette of some sort.. Hmm.
I look at this blog all the time, and I’m always tempted to get EVERYTHING I see….the one thing I get, no questions asked about price because it’s gorgeous? THIS! haha. Best $2 EVER spent.
Yay!!
I’m excited to learn that it’s creamy at least. I set liners with powder a lot so I’d love to try this out for that or as an eyeshadow base.
I actually went out and bought this after I saw your review. 🙂 I’m really pleased by the color payoff and I was surprised by how smoothly it applied but I noticed that after about 3 hours it melted and traveled south on my lower last line (and it was a pretty cold day). Well, I guess you can’t have everything for 99 cents, haha.
i love the wetnwild coloricon liners!! Theyre amazing esp for $1- they are a def upgrade from previous liners and theyre smooth and pigmented. I love using them on the lash lines & smudging them out with a like shadow. If you have more oily lids, priming & setting will give better wear time.. i love all of the colors and i think im close to owning them all!!
