Welcome Back, Stila!

Stila Cosmetics is really back, darlings! New owner Lynn Tilton has been welcomed into the Stila Girl fold, and she’d like to offer a complimentary Stila Appreciation 24kt Luxe Lip Gloss with a purchase of $25 or more. Just use code APPRECIATE. Oh yeah, that’s right–the website is back online and in action!

It sounds like Stila has some very interesting things planned for the future, so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what direction they go in over the next few months. By the way, am I the only one who didn’t know about Stila’s very nifty rewards program? Where have I been?!

Wow the people behind Stila are nothing like I expected! I definitely need some Major Lash mascara so I’ll probably get that lipgloss too.

Thx for the post, I hated the old Stila site-it would always freeze on me. I was just on the new site and it works so much better.

Christine, do you know until when it is valid? Because they don’t have the indian collection yet on the website, nor do they have the pearl palette.

I’m glad they’re back! Stila has some awesome products but they really need to step up the ads and marketing is poor 🙁 They need to revamp their products and make them “green” as with all the other companies.. bottom line, they need to make it more exciting for the consumers.. some of their releases are so mundane.. same ol’ stuff all the time!

While I’m glad that the old stila girl is back, I’m still underwhelmed by their products! Bring back the e/s trios! But who knows, maybe in time, it will get better.

Have you read about Lynn Tilton? She’s kind of REALLY awesome. She was a single mom who worked 100 hour weeks on Wall Street to provide for herself and her daughter, and was so successful that she could have retired when she was 40. Instead, she started her own private-equity firm specifically to give something back, and her specialty is buying and re-organizing failing businesses in order to make them thrive again. Her business model is all about saving these companies and American jobs. I think the company is worth like 6 billion or something now.
