Do you wear body shimmer or glitter?

Do you wear body shimmer or glitter? How often? For special occasions or everyday?
On special occasions, if I’m wearing a top or dress that shows my neck or shoulders, I’ll wear body shimmer/glimmer!

It depends on the situation when to use body shimmer, if it’s during the summer I like to use body bling for a bronze look . If I wear a silver dress or during Christmas parties I use a shimmer for arms and legs to give it some effect .

I love a light misting of micro-shimmer across the décolletté for evenings out. I don’t like the heavy, glittery ones that seem terribly juvenile and costumey, but there are some excellent ultra-fine ones like Guerlain’s that are very pretty. My chest is still smooth, even toned, and unlined despite my 69 years so I can get away with a bit of fairy dust. I also like a bit of “adult glitter” on my eyes when the rest of my look is satin-matte. Tom Ford excels at creating it. His LE She Wolf knocked it out of the ballpark this year and many of his permanent quads (Cognac Sable, etc.) have a gorgeous glitter shade included as an evening option. So, yes, I wear shimmer and will probably do so until I drop! LOL

Oh yes I do. And I am very definitely out of my 20s :). I am dark brown (NC45 in MAC) and I own several options. I mainly use body glimmer during summer and also on nights out. I wear it on my decollete, over collarbones, tip of the shoulders, arms and legs. I love actress Nia Long’s bronzey gold look and try to emulate that.

The ones I have do not have glitter though, it’s more of a deep gold bronze look, as if I spent a week in the Caribbean. I use one by She Australia, the tiger bronze gel by Milani, Nuxe gold oil, Scott Barnes and I would like to buy Melanie Mills Gleam.

If I do want to wear something, I usually just take whatever bronzer I am wearing that day, and dust it down my neck and along my chest. Then, I take the highlighter I am wearing and dust it along my collarbone. This creates a pretty, more natural looking glow. Plus, it always looks best when your face matches your neck/chest!
