Ummmmm. I meant Tory Burch going into the makeup business, not Tarte. The design reminded me of Tarte. I was trying to say two different things. It just sounded like one thought….drives my friends crazy when I change the subject.

For $ 60, I expect more than cardboard packaging, but then again, we’ve seen too many brands spend all the money on elegant packaging/looks and skimp on the shadow formula (looking at you, Dior, Hourglass, and Guerlain). And the Cat’s Meow palette should have cute cats or kittens all over it. Otherwise, the colors look very elegant and wearable, you can come up with a variety of looks using the color combos, really hope they perform well. The Catch and Cat’s Meow look interesting, hope you will review.

I know nothing of Tory Burch or what the quality of these is likely to be (though for the price, it had better be pretty good). Will you be reviewing these, Christine? I like the 2nd and 3rd palette colours but seeing as how the line isn’t even available in Canada, I’ll have to love (or leave) these vicariously!

They certainly look beautiful. I like the color combinations on the first two. The third is a pretty neutral palette. I wonder if the quality is there.

All 3 are gorgeous, and I could see myself wearing every shade in all 3, but again, this is a brand that doesn’t seem to have much physical counter-space in brick-and-mortar stores…

I didn’t know that Macy’s is now carrying TB Beauty…I just ordered the Cat’s Meow palette. Hopefully the shadows are good quality and pigmented. If not, I have no qualms about returning it though!

This isn’t TB first adventure in cosmetics. She came out with a bronzer and lippies almost two years ago and they performed horribly. The packaging looked glammed but it was cheap plastic with no weight. I was not impressed. And to see this release….in cardboard packaging at that price point I certainly hope she got it right this time.

I just ordered this in “Catch,” the top one you have pictured here. I normally won’t order unless I’ve seen reviews on something somewhere, especially from you, but the color combo just looked too pretty to pass up.

how did you like it? I’ve been trying to find reviews and swatches for 2 months but have yet to see any for Catch. I’m in love with the colors, but wondering what the quality is like.
