  • NARS Cosmetics is busy adding to their line this week! Say hello to Pure Sheer SPF Lip Treatments ($25), Multiple Tints ($38), and Pro Prime (Skin Smoothing Face Prep at $30, Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base at $24–exclusively at Sephora).
  • COVERGIRL just announced that the ever-lovely Taylor Swift is now their spokesperson! We’ll see her first ads debut in January 2011.
  • OCC Makeup has created a new shade of Lip Tar in Memento, described as a “beautiful pink shade with plum undertons.” Between now and June 1st, 2010, a portion of the proceeds from each purchase of Memento will be donated to CancerCare.
  • FLIRT! is running a Twitter contest beginning May 2nd for all followers of FLIRT! on Twitter.
  • NUDE is offering a free, full-sized Advanced Soothing Complex with orders over $75.
  • Lancome welcomes Penelope Cruz as the ambassadress for their Tresor fragrance.
  • Mary Kay has launched an initiative of special, limited-edition Creme Lipsticks as part of the 2010 Beauty that Counts initiative. The three shades are Inspiration, Compassion, and Confidence. Between now and September 15th, 2010, Mary Kay will doante $1 from each sale of Beauty That Counts Lipsticks to The Mary Kay Foundation in an effort to end domestic violence. Each retails for $13.
  • AVEDA launches Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair on Monday. It’s designed as a daily leave-in treatment to help repair damage and protect hair from heat styling. According to AVEDA, it’s clinically proven to instantly repair damage by 26%, detangles to protect hair from breakage, helps protect from heat styling, and is safe for color-treated hair.
  • Paul & Joe Beaute have launched Lip Gloss G, described as “a delicious lip gloss with clear, vibrant colors and lasting shine.” Shades include Blossom (bright rose pink), Mon Cheri (look-at-me hot pink), Sheer Bliss (soft coral orange), Tangerine (bright, juicy clear orange), and Maraschino (deep, classic cherry red).
  • Blow Beach Blow ($21) is new and just in time for summer to create “perfect day-at-the-beach style” without the stiff, sticky, or salty feel.
  • Bond No. 9 has created a new fragrance for summer that’s dedicated to vacation hot spot Montauk (and named as such!). It will launch on Memorial Day!

I am so excited that Taylor Swift is going to be the spokeswoman for Cover Girl. I think she is going to look so cute…I can;t wait to see the ads!!!
