The Scarlet Season: MAC Amorous Dazzleglass Creme

Recently released this past September (which means, despite its limited edition status, you can likely still find it in-store or online for purchase), MAC Amorous Dazzleglass Creme is a glittery, glamorous red gloss that packs both color and shimmer into a non-sticky high-gloss formula.  I like Amorous for the interplay between red color base and gold and red shimmer.  This shade of red is deep enough to not feel bright, but still rich in hue.  For a more opaque look, try it over your favorite red lipstick!

I love this ! I can’t wait to get it. I hate that it always take AGES to MAC to launch the collections here in France.
It’s not supposed to be out before Nov 1st here !

I love this shade, but I bought totally fab dazzleglass creme and I am still not crazy about the texture. I didn’t go ahead and get amorous b/c I have a totally awesome Chanel glossimer that is an awesome dupe for this. I’ve rocked it MANY times.

Is there any way you could pair it over a red lipstick? I’d love to see it layered.

Thanks for all the red lip posts, btw. Red is probably the only color I bother wearing on my lips.

thats what I was thinking.. I would never wear that on its own, but it looks like it would be very pretty over a red lip. (or maybe even an orange/red)

I just got this in my last MAC order! I normally avoid reds (they look terrible on me) but I couldn’t resist this one. So pretty! I hope it’ll work on me!

I got to say I don’t like this shade.
It’s nice, but seams christmas-costume-like
Too much sparkle
It’ may “work” with the season, but I don’t picture myself wearing this particular shade of red.

It would look good when paired with a red lip, but its too patchy for my liking 😐 it looks like I could get the same effect by patting red reflects on my lips

Hey Christine… u know what a good mixture is? the MAC black mattene lipstick from style black w/the Amorous dazzleglass over it. It is like a beautiful cherry cola lip. really gorgeous, u should try it

I really wish I hadn’t bought this one… it always goes on badly on bare lips. You have to use it over another lipstick. I’m not a fan of these glosses in general though.
