Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I don’t know if this counts, but The Body Shop’s Lip butters are terrible!! Not only do they leave your lips with a white film, but they dry and peel your lips more than ever!!!

the worst lip balm i ever tried is NYX lip balm in watermelon….thought it was going to smell like watermelon….wrong. there is no smell…and it tend to be very goopy when you put it on…

I don’t know if there’s in USA but here in Italy the worst lipbalm is Labello Light kiss…it’s incredible if you think that the others LAbello LipBalms are amazing! too bad for me that i bought it!

The worst curling iron I have ever tried was a Revlon one. The metal looked grey. I let my friend use it back in high school and whatever hair product she used, it stained the whole thing, including the metal. It was hard to take it off (she didn’t even clean it when she gave it back that b*tch) and just didn’t work right after that.

i’ve never found a curling iron that actually worked on my hair, at any length (although i’ve generally only bought cheaper ones), so i gave up.

and i’ll answer the lip balm one anyway: although they smell divine, i find the ones from lush take on the consistency, scent and even flavour of vegetable shortening when applied.

I had a conair curling iron, not an instant heat but the regular kind I bought a couple years ago. It was a larger barrel and I don’t think it got hot enough. I also don’t know what brand it was but I had a “multi styler” that had a crimper and straightener. Terrible, the straightener pulled on my hair.
