I really like Philosophy’s Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash becase it’s non irritating and gentle but effective. The beads are really small, but they don’t feel harsh. It’s great for sensitive skin.

i just bought that the other day actually! i like it too, wish it was more moisturizing though. i have SUPER dry skin

my top though is clinique 7-day scrub because it doesn’t leave my skin squeaky and needing moisture too badly.

For everyday I love Clinque’s 7 Day scrub. It’s very gentle. When I need an intense scrub down, I use Bliss’s Steep Clean Mask. While it’s not technically a scrub, it does have “scrubbies” in it that when washing to mask off, give you a nice exfoliation.

I love Chanel Gommage Microperle Eclat. The beads are pretty small so I don’t feel like I’m going over my face with Sand Paper. Anything else I’ve tried is too harsh. I’m on my second of Chanel and can’t see switching. I haven’t found anything that compares.

I realize a lot of people hate this product, but I absolutely LOVE the St. Ives Apricot scrub in the medicated version. It actually exfoliates my skin well, plus it has salicylic acid to further exfoliate and treat my acne-prone skin. It *can* be abrasive, which is why I only use it once a week at most, and it can be hard to remove, but I fix that with warm/hot water and a moist washcloth. But, the scrub is still my favorite because my skin never is exfoliated as well if I use any other scrub with smaller/”gentler” particles. I even use this scrub on my back every once in a while to treat the acne there!

Have you tried Queen Helene’s Mint Julep scrub? It uses apricot pits as well as its scrubbing agent but is just SO much more gentler. In this, the exfoliate is rounded and tiny, while in the St. Apricot one it’s rather big in comparison with sharp edges. I really recommend this! I find this to be effective and gentler enough to use as every day if I wanted.

Well at the moment I am loving Aesop Exfoliation Paste. I love the packaging, the scent, the quality, the sizes of the quartz scrubbing grains, and the results of really smooth skin without it drying. Reviewed it on my blog a few weeks ago it’s ace!

I like MAC’s Volcanic Ash but ever since I got my Clarisonic I don’t think I really need an exfoliator. The Clarisonic is more than enough.

i happen to love lush cosmetics’ ocean salt. it’s a face and body scrub that leaves my skin super soft, but it’s great on my sensitive skin a few times a week. helps keep it clear, soft and smooth.

St. Ives Naturally Clear Blemish & Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub works really well. It’s a great exfoliator, but might be too harsh for sensitive skin.

I agree completely, but I tend to get dry skin, so soetimes i use olive oil and sugar, usually soft brown, because my skin is sensitive too. I use this before a cleanser, butolive oil does remove stubborn makeup effectively. I also love mixing granulated sugar and olive oil in a little pot for my lips, really yummy, cheap, easy, and definitely effective.

Lush Ocean Salt for sure, but honestly I don’t even think I’ve used it since I got my Clarisonic. It has made my skin so much clearer and beautiful than even Ocean Salt did!

La Prairie Cellular Microdermabrasion scrub, hell of pricey, but NOTHING has made my skin look this good! I’ve had it 3.5 months already, using once a week, I haven’t even made a dent in it, so I don’t think it will be that expensive in the long run.

I got a sample of this last week and have used it twice so far and I love it too! A little goes a long way!! My skin feels so soft and I can tell it is actually doing its job.

Baking soda. Mix it with a little water to create a paste.

I have acne prone skin, so most scrubs are too harsh, and cause me to break out. This works awesome cuz its super gentle, but effective. Plus it’s cheap, and I know exactly what I’m putting on my face.

I use an exfoliating liquid wash by Natura (it’s the first product I have used from that company) and I have liked it so far, I use it only two times a week.

Olay Detoxifying Pore Scrub is my absolute favorite since I love how it’s gentle and how it makes your pores appear smaller. In case I get breakouts, I use St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub and Olay Clarify & Cleanse Acne Scrub.

I swear by Angel Face Botanicals Ambrosia Cleansing Grains. It’s a dry powder that you mix with a little bit of water to make a paste. It is handmade, mostly organic, and contains no preservatives or other harsh ingredients, only natural clays and extracts. Angel Face has the best products – my skin has never looked better 🙂

I’m a fan of the Bobbi Brown Japanese polishing granules. You can shake a small amount into any cleanser. They last forever and are a great gentle scrub.

I’m obsessed with Kate Somerville ExfoliKate (how is it not on here yet?!) it’s the absolute best for me. Those fruit enzymes do the trick. 🙂 Runner up is Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion- the exfoliating particles are SUPER fine.

I LOVE Simply Divine Botanicals Honey I Shrunk the Pores, a biologically active skin polish with fruit acids and kombucha. I leave it on for fifteen minutes then lightly rub it off (like a gommage). It dissolves dead skin and leaves my face super smooth.

I like that the ingredients are edible: Unconditional Love and Gratitude, Raw Wildcrafted Honey, Orange Blossom Distillate, Organic Green Papaya, Organic Whole-Leaf Aloe Vera, Apple Pectin, Dehydrated Raspberries, Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, MSM, Liposome Vitamin C, Lemon Balm, Bulgarian Rosewater, Witch Hazel, Kombucha Culture, Elder Flowers, Green Tea, Rose Petals, Chamomile, Calendula, Comfrey, Rosemary, Sage, Cranesbill, Lavender, Roosbois, Alkanet Root, Essential Oils of: Tangerine, Lemongrass, Frankincense and Myrrh, Vitamin E and Lemon Juice.

I have always loved St.Ives Apricot scrub but after a friend of mine who has studied these types of things told me that the apricot pieces in the scrub can actually do more damage to the skin I stopped using it. Apparently she says with long term use it can actually cause more acne on the skin and also as you begin to age it can cause wrinkles because its the pit of the apricot that that grind up and put into the face scrub which means it has little sharp edges which over long term use scratches and damages the surface. She said micro beads or anything that says its round is great however I am wondering if any one out there knows of a great facial scrub for acne prone skin?
