Sunday Favorites

This Week:  Temptalia’s Post Picks

Are these kind of weekly roundups helpful? I’m always on the fence about them, so I’d love to know if you find these of any use!

Sunday FavoritesMAC To the Beach Collection

MAC’s latest summer collection will be hitting stores on Thursday, May 27th, but it should show up online around the 25th–but who knows, you may start seeing it pop up on May 24th, too. I’ll try to put a post up announcing when it’s available online to purchase once I see it’s up! Of course, my favorite part of the collection was the To the Beach Bag, mostly because I was endlessly amused by trying to fit my dog into it.

Sunday FavoritesMake Up For Ever’s Aqua Creams are Love

There are always so many new products coming out, but MUFE’s Aqua Creams really excited me. They’re so easy to work with, come in a variety of shades (the five I bought from Sephora *just* arrived on Saturday!), and look beautiful. AMAZING!

Sunday FavoritesThe Boy’s First Review: Alford & Hoff Moisturizer

My funnier half finally, after months of prodding, wrote up a HILARIOUS review. He’s also been basking in the afterglow of feel of posting and the gratification of instant feedback. Anyone want to chime in and let me know how often you’d like to see him post?

Sunday FavoritesLook: Yellow, Chatreuse, & Green

Even though it’s a rather basic look, I found it really flattering and season-appropriate. I just loved the way it worked out, and I liked the way it looked on me. (Is that conceit? Hmm. I always feel weird saying things like.)

Sunday FavoritesBobbi Brown Lip Shines, Part 2

Still lovin’ Bobbi Brown’s new Lip Shines! (Check out Part 1, if you missed it!) I’m just still so amazed by how pigmented they are. The name “Lip Shines” really didn’t have me anticipating such rich and opaque shades.

Sunday FavoritesVictoria’s Secret’s Lipstick Line is a Pleasant Surprise

Of course, all surprises should be pleasant, but the quality and texture of VS Makeup’s Perfect Lipstick lives up to the name. Creamy, opaque, and never drying. Be Mine definitely was an impressive shade, and I look forward to checking out other shades in the line-up.

Sunday FavoritesGiveaways, Giveaways, Giveaways!

This week has definitely been giveaway heavy! Have you entered yet? Current giveaways include: COVERGIRL ShadowBlast Kits (U.S. only), MAC Lustre Drops, AMOREPACIFIC Moisturizers (U.S. & Canada only), MAC To the Beach Lipglasses, 16 of Avon’s Glazewears (U.S. & Canada only), MAC To the Beach Lip Pencils, MAC Shimmermoss Eyeshadow, and MAC Hipness Blush. Phew! I still have plenty o’ giveaways planned for the upcoming week, too.

Sunday FavoritesMAC Venomous Villains Collection

Are you digging the MAC & Disney collaboration? Many moons ago, they collaborated on some Tinted Lip Conditioners, which was just slightly before I, myself, was fully addicted to the brand. There’s not much information out yet, but it’s been confirmed by MAC, and we’ll at least see four villains in the collection: Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Evil Queen (from Snow White), and Dr. Facilier.

Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

For someone who checks temptalia.com DAILY, it’s just repetitive to me and I don’t particularly mind going back pages to see posts.

But I think it’s interesting to see which posts you really like. 🙂

I like this! Saves me some time from looking through past posts or google-ing. You should keep up with these! =)

I am definitely looking forward to the MAC Disney collection! =D

That white flower picture is gorgeous! Btw I like this synopsis of posts throughout the week, helps point out what you thought was interesting if you don’t wanna go through the entire week’s posts. Hope you’re feeling better and that those horrible migraines go away! Take care 🙂

It might be handy for other people but I check here every day so I’ve seen them already! 🙂
PS: the newsletter still exists right? (Normally it arrives mid-month so I’m worried I might have unsubscribed you or sth!)

We try to approve comments within 24 hours (and reply to them within 72 hours) but can sometimes get behind and appreciate your patience! 🙂 If you have general feedback, product review requests, off-topic questions, or need technical support, please contact us directly. Thank you for your patience!
