it will be to exfoliate and moisturise the lips the night before! just using a toothbrush works for me and yes also a lipbalm!
on that day itself i usually go out without lip stick or gloss on – they hate eating them, I suppose!

When I’m getting ready to go out, I put on some lipbalm (Boots does a great lip balm called ‘Mediterranean Lip Wonder Balm) while I am getting my things together and before I leave, I just blot it and then apply my lipstick/lipgloss. I find that leaving it on for a while leaves my lips really soft and helps the lipstick/lipgloss go on more smoothly.

yeah…nothing different..same old exfoliate n lipbalm…
now something weired…for people who have tendency to chap lips often…applying little oil (a drop) in belly button at night helps. This has to be done for like few days to see a noticeable difference…for me ‘it worked’…:)

I mix honey and sugar together just until the sugar is moistened, and then rub hard and long ALL over my lips to completely rub away any dead, chapped skin. Then I rinse it off with cold water (rinse well or your mouth will be sticky) and apply a thick layer of balm – Burt’s Bees or Yes! To Carrots Vitamin C Lip Butter works well. Then I put on my lip-treating gloss: The Body Shop Strawberry Born Lippy Balm Gloss. It looks EXACTLY like Popster Tinted lip Conditioner from the MAC Hello Kitty collection, but its at the Body Shop all the time, is a lot thicker, and smells like strawberries.

Scrub it first with a lip scurb (I have one from EG minerals, LOVE it) and then pamper it with minted rose lipbalm.
Well, I got nobody to kiss, but my lips will look great :p

I just use a damp cloth to gently exfoliate my lips every few days. Before I go to bed, I will put a generous layer of lipbalm on my lips. When I wake up the next day, I have well moisturised lips plus they look full 😀

I use a toothbrush and sugar scrub (just rub sugar on lips, no need to mix anything with it) to make lips soft and moisturize with shea butter, Egyptian Magic (it’s a moisturizing balm with olive oil, royal jelly, and bee pollen), and grapeseed oil. For color, I either put a light gloss (my new fav is Skinn Cosmetics lip gloss in Sunset Beach) or stain (can’t beat Benetint; use one of Tarte’s natural gel cheek stains on lips if you’re sensitive to regular products) with some gloss or balm on top.

Been using plain old Vitamin E oil as a gloss/balm lately although usually just around the house. Sinks in nicely and keeping the chapped lips away. I like the CO Bigleow Lip buffer for occasional use.

i read somewhere that exfoliating the lips isn’t good for the delicate skin. i just use vaseline followed by lipglass, makes my lips look lovely 🙂

If they get really dry and flaky (something I try and avoid!) I give them a gentle scrub with my toothbrush after brushing my teeth. Then put on lip balm religiously!

Tip: if your guy has seriously dry lips, put on a generous layer of non-sticky balm (Lucas Papaw Ointment is great!) and then give him a good old smooch. You may need to reapply afterwards! 😉

Ive never needed to exfoliate my lips only when I try a lip product that my lips totally didnt like. But I just keep applying Carmex and the next day, it peels off the dead skin and all i do is wipe it away with a tissue or paper towel and im good to go. And i absolutely agree with Fie, put on lip balm at night and wake up with smooth, full lips. =)

I’m chapped. I chew my lips. It’s sooo unsightly.

The ritual: I use Eqyptian Magic or pure shea butter before bed.

Makeup routine:

Exfoliate with sugar and a wash cloth. I’m going to try the Honey with that now… sounds yummy.

Under lipstick.. Mac lipbalm. I know.. that’s boring.

Sad to say, its my pout lip balm. It’s a discontinued brand (I think) that used to be at Sephora and moved to Victoria’s Secret and then disappeared. This lip balm worked magic. I would put it on my lips and then lipstick on top and it would turn semi chapped lips to soft happiness. If I sleep with it on, it cures my lips in the morning. So amazing!
