Sweetie is a favorite for me, as is Mari-sheeno, though neither are that MLBB, I suppose… Sweetie is similar to my lips, but pinker 🙂

Shy Shine (asian exclusive) is a favourite of mine…its shade is close to Bare slimshine but pinker :)))

non-exclusive would have to be Bare slimshine & Way to Love from the Rose Romance collection (i’m in NC35 so Way to Love looked surprisingly nude on my lips, LOL! :D)

I like Lightly Ripe… Maybe too colorful to be considered MLBB but my lips are pretty pigmented to begin with & this gives them that “boost”.

Rosie Avatar

Me to!!!!! I luv lightly ripe lipstick I could wear it every day with cherry blossom lipglass on top =0) Its almost completly gone thou =0( does anyone recommend anything on their permanent the similar??

LaKiesha Avatar

agreed. my lips are pretty pigmented too, and i was never really into wearing lipstick before i tried lightly ripe. it’s such a perfect MLBB color. i’m kicking myself for not buying backups. i’ve been trying to hunt it down at the local CCOs, but i haven’t had any luck. 🙁

I don’t feel comfortable wearing an opaque pink looking like my lips: I’m not a fan of opaque make up. Even if the tones are close to mine.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Crystal in Plum Fizz is my fav MLBB. It’s very dark seen like that in the tube but it’s a transparent sheer color. Neither too pink, neither too orange, neither too bright. It’s simply a transparent muted deep red. Basically it’s my lip color enhanced and deeper with a soft satin transparent finish. I don’t need to apply much of that Plum Fizz lipstick: less is more with that product. I adore its transparency and the natural yet sophisticated touch it gives to my face.

My lips are pigmented rather bad:(. So I prefer to wear neutral coral/pinkish red tones. Givenchy Rouge Interdit ‘Precious Rose’ is my favourite lipstick.

Ondine Avatar

My lips are very pigmented naturally, so definitely no traditional ‘nude’ shades for me. Current MLBB favourite is L’Oreal Color Riche gelee in Shiny Grapefruit

Chiara Avatar

Dior Addict l/s in Beige Dessous, a beautiful beige with a pink undertone and a satin finish. And it really keeps my lips smooth all day long.

Inês Mariano Avatar

Creme d’mude from Mac 🙂 an opaque beige/white that goes amazing on my lips, my favourite colour ever 🙂 goes very well with tanned skin 😀

I like something to tone my pigmented lips down a bit, since I’m pale (NW10).

LM Pink Champagne creme l/s, MAC VG V l/s, or MAC TwigTwig LE l/s.

Sweetie seems to be same shade as my lips, I so wanted it to work!

Mid tone red colors, such as, MAC “o” and polished up. Also browns, such as, MAC Oh Baby, Beaux and Get Rich Quick. Reds and Browns really make me glow and come alive w/o being ott.

Modesty is a lovely color, but not the best shade for my color (NC35, very yellow undertones)

I like Mari-sheeno if I want a warmer tone, or Cosmo (alone or mixed with Full On Lust) for something a little darker than my actual lipcolor.

For lipglass, it’s Perfectly Pink (I finished it, & have no back up) :c

I’ve never commented here before, but I’ve been reading for a while 🙂

My best MLBB is Tarte’s Vitamin Core Lipstick in Zen.

We’re asked to tell what’s our favorite lip product when it comes to pick a color that compliment our natural lip color the best. So something looking very natural but also better than our lips without make up. That’s how I’ve understood the question. My explanation might not be good as English is not my native language. I hope it helped!

Natalie Avatar

The lipstick shade that is just like your natural lip color, but better. For instance, I would say Tinted lip conditioner in Gentle Coral as it doesn’t add much color to my pigmented lips, but my lips look all supple and shiny. However, if I had to choose lipstick, then it would be Brave l/s. HTH!

Hands down Buxom Lips in the color “Sugar”. First of all this lipgloss is the best. Makes my lips look super nice with just a natural nice shine to them. This lipgloss not only plumps my lips but also softens them up. Once the lipgloss is off my lips feel like butter. I have a lot of pigment to my lips naturally so this color is perfect for someone that does have a lot of pigment because again you look super natural. No other lipgloss is like this or lipstick. Hands down a must have!!!

I love High Tea lipstick by MAC topped with a lipgloss called “Corfu” by the NP collection at Target (one of their “high end” lines their bringing in). Super neutral and pretty!

DevilishDoll Avatar

I usually wear A Rose Romance lipstick with Extra Amps Dazzleglass, but it makes my lips a bit pinker and glittery of course. Not sure if I have any that aren’t quite pink…maybe Sweetie or Hot Gossip lipstick with Bait lipglass. Those 2 lipsticks turn out like a nude with a hint of pink on me.

Tami Avatar

Once, I did a look with Cork lip pencil, Angel Kiss tinted lip conditioner and Prize Petal lipglass. Everyone thought that I just applied a clear gloss. My other favs would have to be High Tea, Love Nectar Lustreglass and Viva Glam V l/g 🙂

I’ve recently fallen in love with Soap and Glory’s Marvelips! On one side is a medium rose-berry lip shaper and the other side is a frosty/shimmery white highlighter. For the MLBB look, I put on a thick layer of highlighter all over lips (think MAC Bubbles in pencil form), then I dab and blend a thin layer of the berry shaper. It makes for a gorgeous, dewy and shimmery rose color!

Nic15 Avatar

Like others above, I have pretty pigmented lips so I would say MLBB lipstick is Viva Glam VI SE or Tinted Lip Conditioner in Tender Baby. Also Neutrogena’s Moistureshine in Fresh Rose.

Laurie Avatar

Mac’s Hug Me lipstick 😀 I love it! Its the perfect color for when i want to go completely natural.

I definiately need to try out mac’s modesty though! I’ve been hearing rave reviews about it.

Miss_M Avatar

Clinique Buttershine in Baby Baby is the perfect MLBB color for me. I also love MAC Viva Glam V lipglass and Young Spark lipglass, but YS was -ofcourse- LE.

inuchan Avatar

right now it is:

Guerlain plus que jamais rose #160
Estee LAuder Vintage Mauve #18
Chanel Waikiki (forgot the number) and chanel rouge allure in Nude
