I’m really loving Viva Glam VI SE with Boy Bait lipglass on top
Clinique had a line of liquid lipstick that were discontinued about 7 or 8 years ago but they were hands down my favorite. There were two colors that I loved Rasberry Sorbet and Sweet Cherry. I can’t tell you how many lip glosses and lipsticks I have bought hoping to have found a dupe. 🙁 Always close but not a winner.
Mine was Plushy! It was the BEST…. I have an OLD tube that I scrape every inch of……. I too, have tried duplicating the color (never mind the texture, that will never happen!) to no avail….
It was PERFECT…. don’t know why they stopped making it!

The best combo I’ve seen goes back to my first visit to a mac counter – Cranberry lip liner with Pink Lemonade lipglass. It was SO different and opened up my eyes to all of the non-traditional things you can do that are still very wearable.

MAC Quartz liner w/ MAC What a Do Lipstick w/ MAC Love Nectar Lustreglass. The combination creates this beautiful peachy-pink that I just LOVE and can go with so many different looks!

Mine is Cyber lipstick plus Comet Blue Dazzleglass
that would be…what i wore today. cork lipliner, fresh brew lipstick, with she loves candy(<333!) on top. this my go-to combo when i dont really feel like thinking about what i’m gonna wear..lol.
I don’t have a lot of lip products yet, but right now my go-to if I can’t think of anything else is Funshine Slimshine with Mimmy l/g – a nice soft peachy pinky color that goes with everything.
Gladiola l/s and love alert d/g. So Beautiful it makes you want to smile at everyone.
Blankety + Love Nectar.
Patisserie l/s + Nothingless l/g = This is my go-to combo!!
Plink l/s + Sugar Trance l/g = Also a fav!

What a Do & Love Nectar is my go-to combo too! The only thing I do occassionally to change it up is use either Whirl, Soar or Quartz liner.
Mine isn’t very special, but it is an everyday thing. MAC Angel lipstick with Sugarrimmed Dazzleglass.
Even though it’s not really a lipstick, my favorite is Make Up For Ever lip liner #43 & Make Up For Ever super lip gloss #13 Pink.
Is there a substitute from for mari-sheeno lipstick? that must have been a LE…?

I’m currently in love with my Cherry ChapStick/MAC Dare You Cremesheen Lipstick combo! It turns a full-on, wintery red lip into a springy red stain. I glide on a layer of Cherry ChapStick, and then I use my hand as a paint palette and smear a circle of Dare You on the back of my hand. I pick up a bit of Dare You, pat it on lips with a finger, and then I blot it with a tissue after I get an even layer of red. Love!! 😀 I’m going to wear it to Easter family dinner with a toned-down version of my specialty: the bronze smokey eye! I dunno what blush to wear.. probably just a bit of pale pink shadow from Almay’s Intensify Eye Color Trio for Hazels, used as highlighter on the cheekbones. It gives me a lovely, sculpted, glowing cheek 😀
I WOULD HAVE TO GO WITH MAC:
FRECKLETONE LIPSTICK WITH LOVE NECTAR LUSTREGLASS, SUCH A PRETTY PEACHE/NUDE COLOR! GOES GREAT WITH DARK BROWN SHADOWS OR BLUES.
Mac’s Ravishing or Slimshine Missy w/ Fullfilled plushglass over.
Peachstock l/s w/ Monogram Distinguished l/g over for a nice nude color.

I love MAC rebel with vino lipliner and nice buzz lipglass in the center. Such a gorgeous unusual combo.
Actually, I’m not a big l/s & l/g combo person. I like to wear both separately. Lately, I have created a new lip look. I call it my signature “smoky lips”! 😛 I use 3 or 4 lipglosses on top of each other to create this “smoky” look and I love it!
– MAC Snowscene l/g all over lips
– YSL the thick black LE l/g (I only brush 1 stripe on each lip)
– Kat Von D grey l/g in “gunmetal” (can’t recall the exact name…having a blank moment1)
– sometimes, I apply 1st, Chanel baby pink glossimer (another blank moment!!…)
Mac Going Dutch with some random lipbalm over it. B-E-A-utiful.

MAC Angel lipstick with either pretty plush plushglass or smashbox PoP over angel makes a gorgeous pale pink lip.
Currently it’s Please Me lipstick with Melt in Your Mouth Creamsheen Glass, but my ol’ realiable is Angel lipstick with Oyster Girl lipglass.
MAC Lightly Ripe l/s with Liquor l/g over it. Too bad they’re both LE.
Velvet Teddy lipstick + Nice Buzz plushglass, amazing!
I love MAC HK collection “Popster” with “Nice Kitty” over it. Super bright pink.
Viva Glam I + cult of cherry l/g + red enriched liner.
It makes such a lovely ruby red lip.

Odyssey Lipstick + Date Night Dazzleglass = STUNNING
If I’m really lost, MAC’s Vanity’s Child with Wildly Lush (or C-thru is very close too) is a no brainer for me.
Smashbox Photo Finish lipstick in Delightful with either Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Candid or DiorKiss Gloss in Snow Cherry (which is my favouritist pink gloss of all time!) over the top.

I only have Twig and Ravishing on your list, I wear Fullfilled plushglass with Ravishing and just Clear l/g or from the monogram collection, Distinguished l/g, with Twig.
i love lollipop loving and Saint Germaine but i have no lip glosses to go with them any suggestions from the HK lipglosses ??
Bobbi Brown pale pink 21 lipstick and Eve Pearls Baby Doll/ Honey Bunny ( I use the Baby doll side) on top! Not to mention it plumps perfectly!
I’ve been wearing Saint Germain and Bubbles together with She Loves Candy lipgloss. I’ve been trying desparately to make Saint Germain work! One minute I am loving it and then I step into a different lighting and well, that’s a different story…lol

My go to combo for now is soft spot lipstick with a light gloss like gentility or c thru running low of soft spot looking for a good dupe for now am buying another through ebay

I have the saint germain as well and trying so hard for it to work. Anyone know what color dazzle glass would best suit this color? Sometimes the saint germain looks very fake on me…. Please help me…
Slimshine Lipstick in “Missy” (pastel coral) with Dazzleglass in “Smile” (light coral with pink and gold pearl) is gorgeous, and I imagine would be flattering on many different skintones. The color reminds me of a creamsicle, and makes the lips look quite voluptuous!
“Smile” dazzleglass looks good over many other colors as well. This versatility makes it an excellent buy! It is also a bit thicker and smoother than other Dazzleglass I have tried, so unlike some of the other colors you only need a tiny bit of “Smile” to get the desired effect.
