We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I swear by Mario Badescu Drying Lotion! It immediately dries my pimple and rids the nasty itch that comes with it. I also use it as a preventative measure–if I feel a zit coming I put it on the spot and it doesn’t even pop out anymore.

I recently tried my brother’s Proactive Refining Mask and it did a really good job. There was still some redness there the next day, but the swelling went down, it didn’t hurt anymore, and it was WAY easier to cover up with concealer!

I agree with Courtney! Proactive Refining Mask is awesome as a spot treatment. I also use an asprin mask to keep zits/blemishes at bay. It’s such an inexpensive facial treatment and has worked wonders for me. You guys should really try it out if you haven’t already!!

This won’t necessarily cure the pimple, but will ease the swelling and redness. AND it’s super cheap. Just crush a couple of aspirin tablets with a drop or two of water, a drop of moisturizer, mix into a grainy paste and apply to your face. You can cover your whole face (it’s a nice exfoliator) or just spot treat it. Leave it on for at least 10-15 minutes until it dries. Rinse off and you’ll see that your pimple has shrunken dramatically.
