well… i guess a lot of MAC stuff i got could be on the “best purchase” list.
but a few weeks back, i found a kabuki brush that’s really soft and fluffy – i had to pay HKD$69. that’s about USD$8.8~ haha that’s probably my best purchase so far… 🙂

Paula’s Choice’s 8% AHA Gel which turned my dry (sometimes flaky) and sensitive (39 years old) skin into beautiful smooth and flawless skin instantly and makes my foundation (Diorskin Pure Light) apply like a dream. Simply love it!!

I can’t chose, but these are my holy grail products – mostly mac items (lol i’m not surprised I LOVE mac)
studio fix concealer, select tint NC40 (enough cover for me, i’m only 15 :D), and heatherette BP in alpha girl.

also i do love my lancome virtuose mascara and my pout silk protein clear lash treatment.

1. MAC SFF
2. MAC concealers
3. MAC 187 Brush
4. UDPP
5. Lashes from this korean brand but I don’t know wat. Makes mascara a thing of the past, and my eyes POP.

UDPP was the best for me. before I bought it My eyeshadow would not last until lunch and it would look greasy and crease. After I finally decided to get some from sephora and used it the first time…i fell in love with it. I will not go without this.

estee lauder double wear foundation
MAC copperplate eyeshadow and of course all my other MAC stuff ..i cant live without any of it haha

Calico Avatar

This is still also my favourite foundation. Spend a fortune trying to find equivalent in mac, but always come back to estee lauder double wear. 🙂

Studio Fix foundadtion and UDPP
Also, Clinique’s line of skin care for oily skin has been a life saver. Before I started using it I had the complexion of a 13 year old (and NOT in a good way) and I’m 30! It has totally evened out my skin.

UDPP – I can’t to my make up without it. It makes my shadows pop, and stay vibrant all day long, and it makes my brows stay too.

MAC Fix+ – I’m so glad I got swept up by the hype. I love this product. It puts that finishing touch on my face after application is all done. It makes my skin look glowy and smooth.

MAC Prep+Prime Lash – It lengthens and thickens my lashes so well and it doesn’t look messy. I don’t have to wear falsies and I can still get a glamorous look!

MAC Big Baby plush glass – My staple. It’s a lovely pinky nude color on me, and every girl needs her “go to” gloss.

Hi! I wear it as everyday scent in autumn/winter. It makes me feel sexy 😉
I use Flowerbomb Viktor & Rolf and Coco Mademoiselle as well 😉

Hyper Real foundation by MAC.

Also, that whole Antiquitease and tie in holiday collection from last year. I bought EVERYTHING. It cost a small fortune, but in my opinion it was the best collection like EVER.

Lydia Avatar

It’s really weird because I’ve never worn anything from Mary Kay before because I always thought it was an old lady brand but I have this one eyeshadow quad from them and I absolutely love it!

Most MAC products! Among MAC stuff: Studio fix powder (the best ever multitasking foundation/concealer, all the brushes (so soft and versatile), the eyebrow “wax stick” (keeps brows in place and add a touch of color to cover the “bald spots”. Most higher end makeups from designers and such I have tried and regretted it! They cost way too much (more than MAC) and usually the payoff is nonexistent. Pigmentation is a big one for me because I like vibrant and lasting colors. I always get sucked in for big names limited edition special packaging pretty to look at products that end up sitting in my makeup bag collecting dust… I have promised myself to stick to MAC because this is the only line that I can be sure that I will like and use most of their products.

Surprisingly, it’s not a MAC product. Bobbi Brown Pink Shimmerbrick was my BEST purchase ever, because it helped me realize how absolutely amazing SBs are! I never, ever leave the house without one on.

Erin Avatar

Not at all! Blended together, they seem to give off a really nice glow. When I was pregnant, people ALWAYS commented on my glowing skin. I totally wasn’t glowing, it was the shimmerbrick!;)

Pquanda Avatar

Fix + – Amazing
UDPP – Live in a sauna, can’t live without
GOOD brushes – Some are MAC, some Smashbox
SHU UEMURA LASH CURLER – bought that one over 6 times
SHU cleansing oil
Px Custom Blend
Imju Fiberwig and Clinique Lashpower mascaras

Pquanda Avatar

Hey Christine!
I put a lot of layers on my face – foundation, a blush, a highight, a contour, and a setting powder. I use Fix+ to meld all those together and make sure I don’t have a powdery finish. I totally STOLE makeupgeek’s (oh my god, I love her, her videos = amazing) idea of taking fix+, spraying it on 187 or 188, and then stippling it over everything once I’m done.

I have the tendency to get dry skin so if I’m inside and the air conditioning or other environment is dryin gme out, I use it again.

At night I take a cotton pad, mist it, and use fix as a toner. Amazing.

Benefit BadGal Lash mascara – HG mascara
Virgin Vie lipstick (pretty much the same as a slimshine) in Peachy Kiss

My Paint Pot Painterly, cause my eye shadow last much longer compared to the eye insurance by Too Faced. And the color matches my skin perfectly.

Charlene Avatar

Personally I love Too Faced eyeshadow insurance. It’s in a squeezable tube thats 10x more convenient that UDPP because you have to scoop or cut open that bottle to get it all out. I was torn between the two but I choose the one I felt was easier to use and I’ve never been happier.

I love the paint pots but I found by the end of the day it would crease like crazy but.. I think I might try eyeshadow insurance and then a paint pot and see if it could withstand the hot weather.

I also love Mac’s concealer, studio mist foundation, Fix +, Teddy Kohl Eyeliner.

AND coastal scents Duo Fiber Stippling Brush. I was about the shell on the Mac’s 187 but I don’t have the budget for it.. so I got that one instead for about 7.95 and I mean.. you can’t go wrong with that price. I haven’t tried it much for my liquid foundation but for powder it’s AMAZING.

Mandy Avatar

My best purchase thus far has been my Stila Tinted Moisturizer (I cannot believe I even bothered wearing foundation in the summer before this product!) and Fyrinnae’s rice powder primer — a MUST-HAVE for mineral makeup wearers!

Aside from those two items, I am absolutely in love with my Too Faced Lash Injection mascara and my Bare Study paint pot. 😀
