We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I was at this cute little boutique in Champaign, IL while visiting a friend. They had Korres, Bliss, and Juice Beauty items all marked 75% off. I went NUTS. Basically, I got for $25 total, items that would’ve ran over $100 full price!

Wow, Erin I’m hella jealous, LOL.

As for me, I’m a cheapie anyway, so my scores usually come from CVS, and I spied some goodies at Ulta last week. They have lots of stuff on clearance for 75% off. Ignore that catch-all display at the front of the store. The GOOD stuff is in the back!

The BEST, though? I have to say was a couple months ago at Sephora, when they had their old pro brushes on clearance. I just wish there had been a stippling brush but oh well.

When things get discontinued at work, such as L’Oreal, Maybelline, Max Factor and so on, me and my colleagues get first pick, everything we want for free, before we ship the stuff back 😀 I’ve found many favourites that way, unfortunately 😛

one day while trolling the local Goodwill I found THREE MAC shadows still in the box just sitting on a shelf looking all sad and just begging for me to take them home. They had never been used and were still in the box. They were priced at 50 cents each.

At the same Goodwill I also bought a bottle of perfume that had never been used (maybe sprayed once or twice) I believe I paid 5.00$ for it and when I got it home and googled it…it was a 90$ bottle of perfume that was exclusive to a couple small specialty stores in New York and LA.

IF have a costco local to you, check out their cosmetics sections every now and again. Smashbox sells packs of discontinued products there for $20.

Two weeks ago I got a set on three DC eyeshadow trios for $20. In April I got a set that included a cream highlighter stick, a shadow quad, a mascara and a trio of mini glosses for $20.

My best bargain were my $1 MAC products during their fundraising event. I also got their brushes at $5 each. I brought home about $80 worth that should’ve cost me at least $400.

Well first off there is this store that I go to in the city that is called Cosmetics Market and they have loads of fun goodies pretty cheap like Stila l/s for 5 bucks and prescritives for 7, they mainly have drugstore stuff but also some cool higher end brands once in a while…

My lastest score was from this store in the Atlantic City Outlets – Lancome juicy gelees for $4 and Shu Umera l/s for $4 also…quite the bargain!

During the MAC/Estee Lauder annual sale in Toronto I scored my MAC 213, 217, 224 for $5 EACH! And my Fuschia and Your Ladyship pigment for $5 each and 8 shadows for another $5 each! To bad the invites are so hard to come by these days =[

I found the much talked-about limited edition L’Oreal Showstopping Taupes Quad on a clearance rack at a local CVS for 50 cents. 🙂 I snatched it up, paid for it, took it home and fell in love with two of the taupes in the quad. They were WELL WORTH my small investment, ten times over!
