Not very much, because I don’t like to wear make-up on beach vacation.
For the evening just 1 mascara, 1 concealer, a powder or powder foundation, maybe a bronzing powder, about 4 eye-shadows (gold, beige, neutral and light brown with shimmer), some lip glasses or MAC gelees and of cause sunscreen for the face (& body) and a good and light exfoliator. Thats it.

I wouldn´t change a thing from my daily routine, except maybe use different shades adapted to a beachy bronzed look, but other than that I´ll wear my concealer, powder, blush, e/s, mascara and lipgloss as I do every day (over sunscreen of course).

For the beach? Hardly anything.
I’d only wear sunscreen during the day as foundation and mascara would wash off as soon as i went in the water.
I’d take EM foundation + kabuki, mascara and a couple of lipsticks & a gloss for night time bars …that’s about it 🙂

I just came back from my week long beach vacay to Ko Samui in Thailand. All burnt from the sun and sea. 🙂 Wonderful island.

Since I went shopping on the day I left, I bought the Neo Sci Fi eyeshadows (Magnetic Fields and Femmi Fi, Pink Grapefruit l/g), Solar Bits in Black Ore, and random Otherworldly paintpot (from the Mcqueen collection last year), and Tendertone Thread Lightly. I brought all these along!

I bought along my SFF, Mineral Veil, NARS orgasm, Shu Uemura eyeshadow palette (more for the big mirror), my whole set of brushes, Parrot, Rice Paper, Aquadisiac, Studio Finish Concealers, UD’s Polyester Bride, Lark About pigment, a pair of fake lash to last me the week.

So yeah, I basically went crazy with my make up. Way overpacked. I guess I like having at least SOME of them with me while I travel. Ha ha. In the end though I used mostly the neutral colours from the Neo Sci Fi collection.

I guess i would only wear sunscreen on the beach, but at night Id put some concealer, light foundation(maybe) or just bronzer. And I guess Id bring my palette of shadows(4) and switch them up for some others(cause right now its a really neutral palette. Mascara too. I think that foundation is not important because I know for me, since I go in the ocean, my skin is magicaly transformed. So I barely need any coverup!

Not much, honestly.

My SPF moisturizer for sure, some mascara, an eye liner, and maybe some blush. I would probably get all drug store brands. When I go vacationing I pretty much stay in the water or on the sand and whatnot, so I don’t really take too much make up. Plus I wouldn’t want to take anything of too much value on a trip unless it was for work or a special occasion.

Oh, I always take tons of random makeup and never wear most of it. Usually a neutral lippie, a pale gloss, a bright gloss, LOTS of sunscreen, a neutral eyeshadow quad, one eyeliner, and brow gel.

tinted moisturizer(with SPF)
waterproof eyeliner
gel cheek stain
tinted lip balm(with SPF)
for a hot day at the beach
add:
a brighter lip color to liven it up during the night!!!

Isn’t this a weird coincidence? I just came back from a week long cruise vacation!!!!! I took tons of sunscreen, and mostly water-smudgeproof stuff like mascaras, cream blush, eyeliner, UDPP and neutral eyeshadows, some of that stuff that you can use on eyes, cheeks, lips. I should’ve taken my mineral make up, but thought it’d be too much, big mistake, I could’ve used it for dinner/shows/indoors. The gift shop on board had Clinique, Lancome and other stuff (unfortunately no MAC), I found the best ever waterproof mascara, Lancome Hypnose it’s my new fave =)

Funny this question should come up, because I am going to Negril, Jamaica in approx 28 days (the countdown is ON)! Now on my last 2 trips I brought too much makeup. I don’t wear makeup during the day at all on the beach (sunscreen only) but I do like to look nice at night. Thinking about just bringing 2 lipglosses, mascara, eyelash curler, bronzer, concealer and will limit my eyeshadows to 2 pallates. I haven’t yet determined which that will be.

Shishiedo has a foundation that is sweatproof/waterproof that is spf 42 or something. I MAY purchase this just to see how it will hold up. I need it for summertime around here anyway, St. Louis is so darn humid and hot during the summer everything melts of my face.

Spf 30 for my body & 60 for my face, Clinique T-Zone Pore Minizer, Spf lip balm, Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof mascara, MAC Brow Shader, a 4 colour MAC e/s palette, creme blush of some sort, a couple lip glosses.
