Temptalia Asks You - What lipstick do you love but are scared to wear?

What lipstick do you love but are scared to wear? What lipstick (or color, shade, hue if you don’t have a specific one) are you ga-ga over, but just can’t bring yourself to wear [yet]?

Me? I’m not terrified of vampy colors, but I really think they look god-awful on me, so I just never wear them for “fear” of looking like the walking dead! (Seriously, last time I put a vampy lip on, my boyfriend asked if I was getting ready for Halloween!)

Hmmm… MAC lipstick in Rocker. Looks amazing on me, and I wear it often. My fear conserning super red mattes like that is my lips get rather dry in winter. Flaky no good…

Will have to be another vampy for me. Chanel Rouge Noir. Totally gorgeous. And I love it to death (how apt). But I dare not wear it out a lot because it’s so red it’s almost black.

I love reds but I think itΒ΄s too much for me, I have voluminous lips and I think that my mouth looks bigger when I use reds on my lips. I was wondering if there is some way to use it and look nice, IΒ΄d tried to liner inside the lipsΒ΄s natural line, but I still think that is too obvious.

I aqm the opposite to You Christine: i think my lips are way too thin for bold colors, reds, dark hues, etc….
i am afradid of lip injections,b/c once an YSL artist told me,i would look like a fish with it πŸ˜€ he must should know something of beauty… however i want to try some lip plumping glosses, can You recommend me a good one, that is really working? i have to be careful owhat i spend on,i need the money to expand my pigment collection lol πŸ˜€
back to the subject: it is funny, how many lipsticks i own, which i couldn’t resist in the store, but i am afraid to wear them outside the house:
CHANEL Sari DorΓ©,which is a real orange,
YSL Rouge Pur MAt No.1 and No.19: both real bright fochsias,
Dior: Gipsy Red,which is almost brown in reality,
and a Dior Addict one,i don’t know the exact name,but a rich,dark red.
however,if You put a lighter lipgloss on them, they are wearable outside.

It’s always a good idea to lighten up a lipstick with a different gloss if you don’t feel comfortable with the richness of it.

DuWop makes a good plumper, as does Fusion Beauty (Lip Fusion), just note that they do sting a bit to give you those “bee-stung lips.”
