Temptalia Asks You - What does your day-to-day look entail?
What does your day-to-day look entail? Is it always different? Is it work-safe/school-safe?
.
I sport the au natural look most of the time since I’m either going to school or staying home more often than not (doing homework, ha!)!
.
My day-to-day look is a work-safe one, and includes a flawless nude skin, a sheer natural eyes (Chanel beiges velours quad), mascara le colossal from Maybelline, and a fresh pink MLBB lip (Estee Lauder 17 (tender mauve) or Chanel aqualumiere Waikiki). Paired with a soft blush (bourjois, with some highlighting power, or Gemey Terre Indienne for fair skin)
Voilà 🙂
said flawless skin obtained with the help of concealer/pressed powder foundation, may I add 😀
since i’m always late wake up from sleep every single day,i just put on moisturiser, pressed powder & lipgloss for everyday look.
if i’m extra early,i’ll add blush & eyeliner..
It’s different practically everyday, it can be a pretty nude with no eye makeup (if I am running late or weather is very hot) or a full face. Unless I have some very conservative meeting, I don’t go for work-safe at all, I love all kinds of looks from bright to dark, and I just follow my inspiration!
Where I work I can pretty much wear whatever clothes and makeup and want. My day-to-day looks varies depending on my outfit. Some times it’s very bright eyes or sometimes just black eyeliner with bright lips. Just depends!
Even though I go to school every(week)day I always put on makeup. Its part of my morning routine and I feel odd if I have to miss it! I use a mineralize skinfinish natural for foundation. Depending on my mood I’ll do a simple wash of colour on my eye, or a multicoloured eye. A simple lipgloss and a brush of bronzer and I’m ready!
Work-safe.
I just apply philosophy “the supernatural” tinted foundation primer for my face and some Mac Pressed Powder.
For my eyes I use simple Natural eye shadow in matte and brown, mascara is optional. I NEVER leave the house without at least some eyeliner, mostly black. Since I’ve suffered from Trichotillomania for about 12 years now, I really feel the need to cover that up.
Running between school and the gym where I’m an instructor, I needed a go-to waterproof, sweatproof look. I love color, but elaborate makeup doesn’t work for my day to day life.
Sheer foundation, an all-over wash of a light pigment lash to brow, black L’Oreal Beauty Tubes Mascara (never runs, easier to remove than a waterproof!), Liquidlast Liner, often in Aqualine, (or one of the crazy colors in the knockoff from Gosh) for a pop of fun-but-waterproof color, and a Lipglass of some sort. The color of the pigment and lipglass changes, but the rest is my tried and true formula.
I absolutely LOVE L’Oreal Beauty Tubes Mascara, so easy to remove, long wearing and looks really nice!!
Always different. Usually pretty colourful and full on, I always wear eyeshadows, mascara, eyeliner, lipstick/lipgloss, blush, and of course Mac MSFN or something similar.
I recently found my ideal september/october daylook, i like to change between seasons 🙂 This one unleashes the ‘après-beach babe’ in me 🙂
I use a hint of Mac’s SFF, topped mith MSF natural to achieve a mat base. I apply bronzer on forehead, nose, cheeks and chin, followed by Estée Lauders peche nuânce blush with just a little bit of highlighter.
For eyes, i prime them with Rubenesque, followed by some Ricepaper on the whole eyelid, a little bit of Woodwinked on the outer part of the lid, and Mulch in the crease. Then i finish them with Prussian or Permaplum eyeliner to give them some extra oomph.
Lips are Dior Addict in Beige Dessous, topped with Gold Rebel.
I find this look flattering, not too nude, and it makes you look like you’ve just spend your afternoon on the beach.
I work in an office so my day to day look has to work safe. Usually it’s a full-face (primer, foundation, powder, contour, blush, highlighter) and well done eye. I experiment with colors but I always use a neutral in the crease and for the highlighter so the eye isn’t overpowering and my eyeliner matches my hair color (usually Rich Ground fluidline). If I do a bolder eye, I keep the lipstick subdued but with a neutral eye, I’ll wear a brighter lip. You can wear brights to the office as long as you don’t make everything overpowering.
M-F – i always make sure my makeup is down regardless if it’s full-on blended 4 e/s combo and glossy neutral lips or it’s just a wash of a creaseless shadow with full color lips. Saturday/Sundays sometimes I like to experiment with colors or I just take it easy but I will always ALWAYS fill in my brows!
The best compliment was from my co-worker – she told me that I always looked so put together. It is a great compliment since I have a 1 yr. old daughter and I have mastered getting completely ready (makeup/hair) within an hour.
Moisturiser, pressed powder, black eyeliner, black mascara and a nice lipgloss for colour! If I have time I’ll add a neutral eyeshadow and blush/highlighter. Sometimes I just mix my Benefit Moon Beam with my Moisturiser and it adds a glow automatically.
My day to day look is always different. The only thing you can count on usually, is a nude-ish lip. I like to go wild on my eyes so I keep balance by having a plain lip.
my everyday, simple, go to look is moisturiser, powder, neutral eye (wedge + shroom), blacktrack fluidline, covergirl lash blast, dainty blush / petticoat msf, russian red lipstick and chanel’s rouge double intensite in ruby lite.
im not school safe at all.i wear foundation, concealer, and powder, with baby pink cheeks, nude lips, and a purple brown or green smokey eye everday!
Mine has definitely been work-safe lately. I’ve been doing a bunch of nudes when it comes to eye looks and bright pinks when it comes to lips. It’s easier to pull off when I’m in a rush and just want to get out the door and to work.
For work I typically just do concealer, then a light dusting of MSF Natural, finished off by blush. For eyes, I typically just curl/mascara my lashes but lately I’ve been using a bit of Bobbi Brown cream shadow as an all over color and a matte/satin highlighter, also just to blend out the cream shadow. Lip balm is last and then on some days if I’m feeling up for it I line my lips in Rimmel East-End Snob and apply GOSH Darling.
I wear concealer and set with MAC MSF natural. On eyes I would use MAC paint in Sublime Nature, line with black eyeliner and wear black mascara. On cheeks I would use Allison Raffaele Gel Blush in Witty. On lips I would usually use MAC Palatial or Wonderstruck lustreglass. Since I am doing a nude eye, sometimes I would change it up and wear a bolder lip.
I wear concealer, set with powder, Base Light all over lid, vanilla pigment as brow bone highlight, mineralize blush in dainty, Lancome Artliner in black, Dior DiorShow mascara in black, and just a random lipstick/lipglass.
I usually only change it up on the weekends, if I’m going out, or if I wake up super early and have time to muck around with makeup.
But normally, my everyday makeup is:
1. MAC Studio Fix concealer under eyes
2. A cheek stain on the apples of my cheeks
3. MAC Mineralise pressed powder all over
4. Curl eyelashes and apply mascara (Chanel Inimitable, at the moment)
5. Lip balm or gloss
It takes me about 5 minutes, is hassle-free and stops me looking like the undead in the morning.
My day-to-day look is moisturizer, MUFE Face & Body liquid foundation, MAC studio finish concealer, MAC MSF, Strada blush, Velvet Teddy lipstick with NYX Natural lipgloss, and Dior 2-colour eyeshadow duo in Silver Look.
Normally full-on, done-up eyes, lightly done brows, a bit of B.E. Well Rested on undereyes and pimples, glowy/natural cheeks, and nearly naked lips – normally just Cherry ChapStick.
Usually I don’t wear any makeup because I would rather sleep more, but if I have time I will put on eyeliner/mascara.
