Temptalia Asks You - How long do you spend doing your makeup?

How long do you spend doing your makeup? How long does it take you to put on a “full face” of makeup, from start to finish?

It takes me anywhere from fifteen minutes to a half hour, probably, to do everything from face to eyes. If I’m doing a natural look, then I can usually have it done in less than fifteen minutes!

the more colors i use on my eyes, the longer it takes LOL. Usually between 15 and 45 minutes (45 only if i am really going all out for a night out, but 15 when i’m doing simple looks for work and such)

On workdays = 25 minutes
On weekends or if I’m experimenting with eyeshadows I could stand in front of that mirror and work on my face for 45 minutes!

For a normal day time look I usually take 10-15 minutes.

For a night out I’ll usually do quite heavy eye make up and if I’m playing around with it it can take about 45 minutes or an hour

I usually spend no more than 15 min, but I don’t wear foundation (just MSF Natural) and usually don’t do eyeliner if I am just going to school.

About 15-30 minutes, depending on how complicated I get with the face, bronzer, blush, contouring etc.

But like Kate says, if I’m experimenting, maybe 45 minutes, or more!

I’m a minimalist so it usually only takes me about 10-15 mins. I really only play around with my face on the weekends when I have more time 🙂 Any one have some tricks to save time while getting ready in the AM?

I try to multi-task in the morning. I combine moisturizer w/ foundation and put on concealer/eyeshadow/mascara while waiting for the curling iron to heat up. I have also tried picking out what I’m going to wear (on my face!) the night before so I’m not wasting time fishing around for the perfect eyeshadow combos.

I try to alot at least an hour for my make-up application just because I like to enjoy and take my time with it…and this window of time permits me to be a little bit of a perfectionist with my make-up. But now with a month-old son, it would be a blessing if I could even alot 10-20 mins for make-up! sigh.

Gosh I must be a serious outlier! I take maybe 5 minutes tops in the morning. But I live for the no makeup natural look. I just do tinted moisturizer, a dab of concealer and a swipe of blush!

hmmm…reasonable amount would prolly be 15-20 minutes to look polished. honestly, if i had all the time in the world it would be about an hour. but that’s just cause i do things in between, like eat, check email, bug the boy…
