I wear polish constantly (I’m a teacher and my nails are not very fond of the chalk from the blackboard), and I change it as soon as it chips or I want a change of color. That means every 2-3 days 🙂

In addition to helping me feel well groomed, the actual sitting down to do the mani gives me a welcome time-out in the constant stress of grading papers 🙂

I’ll change my nail polish when I’m bored. If I’m bored and my nails look fine then I’ll skip that, but I’ll redo my nail colour when it’s finally a chipped eyesore – I’m so lazy! ;D

Gah, i have this ridicoulous obsession with Chanel nail polish. Currently wearing Vendetta (Its so gorgeous!). It easily holds 5 days without chipping with a primer and top coat. So i do them once a week, if im not to lazy for it.

Likewise! Right now, I’m in love with Chanel nail polishes and Dior’s. After seeing Vendetta showcased on this site, I HAD to have it! LOL
I have been in a dark nail polish phase for quite a while now. Even though I have gel nails done with nail art every 3 weeks, after 1-2 weeks, I find I get bored of the design/colors and I usually cover up with a nail polish of choice (lately Vendetta).

As soon as my nails chip I have to repaint them. I would say once a week but depends on my mood. I agree with Ciara, I have so many nail polishes but Chanel is hands down, the best. So chip resistant and it comes off really easily and doesn’t stain your nails.

I only paint my toes. I love painting my nails but I volunteer in the Small Animal Surgery ward of the vet school and nail polish is a big no-no.

Everyday!

I love nail polish and the only way I can buy more is to use what I have. I cant commit to one color very long, and have even changed it more than once a day when I get bored. I love nail polish!!

erm … I change every two-three days. Just to update the colour, so it doesn’t chip ^^

but I change the colour every week, depending on my mood

As soon as it chips I will change it–which can vary from 2 days to 5 or 6 days. I will leave my nails bare for maybe a day tops–otherwise I bite them~ its a terrible habit but if they are painted and lovely I won’t touch them! Toes I go much longer–even two months–I get lazy during the winter!

i change my polish whenever it starts chipping too badly, which is like every couple of days. i give my nails a chance to breathe for a while between polishes unless i have somewhere in particular to go.

I like to have my nails painted all the time, so I change them when they get chipped even just the tiniest bit. Usually, this is every 4 days or so, but sometimes every 2-3 days when I ‘m rough with my hands.

If I’ve used a neutral and the chips aren’t noticeable, usually I’ll go about a week. Bright or dark colour gets replaced as soon as it chips, usually every three days. I bought 8 new colours last week, so it is a good excuse to try them all out!
Currently my toes are magenta and my fingers silver!

I always keep my nails polished, changing every 2-3 days–it’s the only way I can keep from picking at them, eww!– but I never do my toes. I don’t like the look of painted toenails, for some odd reason.

I used to never wear it. Maybe once a year. But now, I have a full-on addiction to it!! Especially since I started hanging out at the MUA Nail Board!

2 months ago I was changing polish once a week, once it started chipping. Then I started changing twice a week, now it’s almost every day! I love it! 😀

Brooke Avatar

I almost never paint my fingernails, but I always have my toenails painted. I’ll only change them once they grow enough to have a noticeable line between the color and the end of the nail bed, they never chip.

Milan Avatar

I change nail polish every 4-5 days. Or when it starts chipping horribly. I’ve made a new year’s resolution to treat my nails better and honestly they’re so pretty now I have to keep it up! Plus i’m becoming somewhat of a polish fanatic.

When I used to wear nail polish I would wear it for about a week, take it off, then apply another shade like a month later! Now I get my nails done professonally at a Gel Nail place every 3 weeks.
