Temptalia Asks You - Do you change your skincare routine?
Do you change your skincare routine? Or do you stick with it once you find what works?
.
I change periodically — partially because I’m not 100% satisfied, but also because I’m an addict, LOL.
.
I am loyal to certain products that work for me, but I love trying out new stuff. You never know what new little gems you might discover 🙂
Yes~! It’s the same for me, I’m not 100% satusfied and always curious that there’s something better out there. I’ve not yet found a product I have chosen to stick with and buy again after it runs out.
Before when I didn’t care I just used whatever cleanser was in the bathroom and my trusted Olay Complete spf moisturiser day and night. My skin was actually better when I did this!
Now I change constantly because of dissatisfaction with results and also boredem too! But I’ve been good this last month! I’m hoping to use all the products I’ve accumulated the past year! I’m on a quest to find the best organic skincare for my skin.
My routine changes only slightly, I mostly stick to Clinique’s 3-step with the occasional switch from 2 to 3 and back. The only thing I vary a lot is my night cream.
Over the years, I’ve changed quite a bit. I’ve settled more or less for a routine that works for me. I do try something new depending on what I come across.
Always, I have adult acnee and nothing working!!! I tried to finished everything except when a develop some rashes. I’m using right now La Roch-Posay, Nuxe and phythomer.
I agree, I change because I’m not entirely satisfied with my skincare routine. I’m always looking for products that can clean my skin more efficiently. Plus summer and winter months bring about their own skincare needs & I change my routine depending on that season as well.
I love trying new things so it gets frustrating! When something works (ie. no breakouts), I take it for granted and want to try something even better. But more often than not, it causes me to breakout instead. I always go back to Mary Kay for normal/combo skin when this happens. But within a week, I’m back to trying new products!
im a firm believer of “dont fix it if it aint broken”. if i like it, why change it, dont wanna risk my skin for something new that may not be better. the routine stays the same, but the products may vary slightly. not much though.
Same with me! Have to try new things so I am hardly loyal with a certain skin care routine. But I always have my Lush Angels on Bare Skin!
I stick to what works for me. If I find something that doesn’t work, then I stop using it and buy different products until I find one that works for me.
I’ll change if I’m not 100% satisfied with the products I’m using. But once I’ve found a product that works for me (and it’s hard because I have sensitive skin, prone to break outs), I’ll stick to it.
I have used a lot of different skin care over the years but every year I settled on 2-3 types of face moisturizers and serums depending on what is working for me at the period in time. I do try other things on the side, if those work I would either incorporate that in my routine and eliminated others to change it up.
I have never found something that really satisfies me because my skin is always changing. I’m 23, and never had any acne at all until I was 18 or 19, when I’d get the occasional pimple. In the last few years, it’s been the occasional minor breakout (lots of whiteheads with a few pimples and oily patches) and nothing really seems to affect how that happens; I’m pretty sure it’s hormonal and going to appear whether I like it or not. But in between breakouts, my skin is pretty dry! So, it’s all a big mess. I don’t even remember what cleansers I’ve used in the last few years; up until this year I only used stuff from CVS/Target.
Recently, I’ve gone full steam into experimenting with different stuff and it’s really a lot of fun. The only product I have truly fallen for so far is Lush’s Angels on Bare Skin, which I think will be my consistent morning cleanser. Otherwise, I’ve tried more Lush, Philosophy, Korres, and Fresh recently, and I’m especially trying to find my perfect moisturizer. Hopefully soon..!
Before, I used to change my skincare products almost every 1 to 2 months because nothing seemed to work for me. But since I discovered Liz Earle products, about a year ago, I’ve been using the range religiously! 🙂
Most of my life, I’ve had to switch it up often, because something will work wonderfully for about three months, then… yuck. Thankfully, though, my current routine has been good to me for about a year now!
