Are you asking for lots of beauty this holiday? Or do you feel a bit silly asking for more when you and everyone else knows you have enough to last you a lifetime Do you opt for asking for gift cards or individual items?

I’m always in this boat. I tend to feel a bit odd asking for clothes, shoes, makeup, etc. because I feel like I have plenty already. I also have a tendency to be incapable of waiting–if I see something and like it enough to buy it, I buy it (unless it’s out of my price range, of course).

I’m surprised to be the first to comment on this thread!

I’m asking for a few things from Sephora, MAC and ZuZu Luxe brand…some eyeshadows, CCBs and lip gloss mostly. Last year I asked for some makeup and no-one got any for me, but this year the word is out that Carrie likes makeup, so maybe I’ll get a little something.

I wish my husband would pick me out something on his own, but i think he’s too uncertain about it. oh well. I just think the idea of him choosing something is really cute!

I’m with you – I have a hard time telling people exactly what I want in terms of beauty items because I may buy it before they get it for me. I’m impatient! 🙂 So I’ve found it best to ask for giftcards instead. However, I did provide the boyf with a copy of my MAC inventory (he about died when he saw it! lol) & wishlist of permanent items that I told him I wouldn’t buy since most of what I’ve been buying lately has been LE.
