First of all, please excuse my English 🙂 I’m French, so I will try to explain as clearly as possible my feelings.
I’m a mother of two adorable sons. My older is 3 years old and is blind, and my yougest is 1 1/2 years old.

Becoming a mother taught me to become more sensitive and more listening.
Becoming a mother gave to my heart an unimaginable dose of love .
Nothing replaces the smiles on your children. The love your child(ren) give to you is the purest in the world. This love can give you wings, give you so muche power that you feel able to climb moutains and can help you to battle the biggest problems in your life. Because you know that when your children are smiling to you,it’s because they believe in you.
My older theach me everyday to discover the world in an other way than with my eyes.He teaches me to discover the world with my heart, with all my senses.I can not imagine what my life would be without them. They have filled my heart love and happiness.
And they took me back to life…
Oh God, I love them so much…

Being a mother makes life’s joys more joyful and its terrors more terrible. Because of this, mothers are superheroes, facing things they never imagined themselves facing before.

Also, my 11-year-old son still looks like the newborn he once was when he sleeps.

Being a mom changes you irreversibly. Nothing is ever going to be like before. You are forever bound to another human being in a relationship that is unique and only understandable once you live it. I never could have imagined how much love I could feel for my child, although I love my husband or my parents, it is totally different. Nor could I have imagined the sorrow and anguish that come with it.
You are responsible for a tiny, innocent being, that trusts you and loves you and thinks you are the greatest, even if you are clearly not.
Being a mother is the best and the hardest thing that ever happened to me. It takes its toll, but gives back immensely.
I´m very thankful for all I´ve got.

I’d like to win this for my mom. She’s a fantastic woman. She went back to college at 51 to become an EMT. She was diagnosed in October with cervical cancer – she finished treatment in February and is now in remission. She’s always been there for me, kicking my ass when I needed it and giving me a hug afterwards. She was a volunteer firefighter until recently, after 12 years of service – the cancer took away a lot of her energy and physical strength. She’s always put herself second to me and my brothers – we come first. She’s my cheerleader, my friend, but most importantly, my mom. And I love her.

Being a mom is so fantastic because it has taught me how to love unconditonally.

I have learned tolerance, kindness, humility, and how to be happy from my children.

Motherhood is an unexplainable love you could ever imagine. I am a mother of an 8yr old boy. I raised him pretty much by myself for the first few years and just got married almost two years ago. Finding someone who could be a great father and role model to my son is not an easy thing to do-especially with the close bond my son and I share. Boys are great for moms because they can be very affectionate, but also being a single mom (not anymore!) is a great way to teach boys how to respect and treat women the way they should be treated. I still am pretty young, so being a mom at an early age ( I was 20 when I had him) taught me a lot about making better decisions in my life and getting my priorities straight. I stuck with my passion of being a hairstylist though it was hard when he was little, attending many education classes and workshops. Now, it has paid off and was totally worth it. I work part time which is awesome. I have a lot of time to spend with my son. Plus, he is very helpful picking out fun eyeshadow colors when I can’t decide! It really has made me the person I am today. I’m even thinking of having more in the very near future!

Being a mom is great for many reasons:

1. It keeps me young 🙂
2. I come home everyday from work and smile no matter how crappy my day has been…and it’s all because my little one comes running to me being so happy to see me
3. Weird…but as a therapist, it’s a psychological case study at home :). The best part about that is watching him grow and do something new every single day. It’s amazing.
4. Unconditional love that goes both ways
5. Snuggling
6. Having someone depend on you can be hard…but when you are able to fulfill a child’s needs, it makes you feel amazing.
7. He’s interested in watching me do my makeup 🙂

what makes being a mom so fantastic is the feeling of accomplishment when the whole day is through. knowing that you were there for that little person(s) who need you the most and that you did the best job you could. of course those cute little smiles are a bonus 🙂 also being a mom who’s pretty young still (19), it has helped me to see that there’s more to life than just partying the weekends away. sure i miss it sometimes, but even when i get the chance to, i miss my baby!

What I love about being a mom:

When you come home from a long day at work and wanting to just crash on the bed but suddenly noticing a drawing my daughter made for me of us as stick figures at Disneyland — the happiest place on Earth!

Waking up to my girl’s laughter and teking them to their sports games. Watching them grow and enjoy life is what I love about being a mom!

Being a mother is one of the most indescribable feelings. I became pregnant at 19, and also became a single mother at the same time. Going through a pregnancy without that other person, is one of the hardest things, but when you see your child for the first time none of that even matters anymore. No matter how angry, or sad I’m feeling just looking at my son makes everything go away. At a time when I felt there was no hope, he showed me that there is always hopes, and there will always be someone who loves me, no matter what.

Being a mom makes my life complete, and has shown me what unconditional love is. My children can drive me crazy, but in the end, when they look at me or smile at me, all I feel is Love.
