My days are spent indoors, often with just my husband or family, so having perfect eyeshadow all day long isn’t necessary but I don’t like touching up or having to worry about things creasing/migrating… and continual fallout is irritating to my eyes! I need something to wear well enough for 10...
I’d like to see a solid eight hours and then gradual, even fading and some breakthrough shine, but if it goes patchy or disappears entirely before eight hours, it’s a deal-breaker.
I’m the kind of person who forgets they’re wearing makeup if I’m not testing it, so there’s a good chance that I’d forget to reapply even if it wore off. I don’t want something so long-wearing that it dries my lips out, so I’d say some longevity but I don’t need iron-like wear!
None, haha! If I wasn’t testing anything, I’d likely add some more powder to take down some shine or reapply a lip color.
MAC Fairly Precious if I had to choose… it would be so hard to choose, but this is one of those go-to, everyday wearable shades that adds warmth, a touch of color, and shine and goes with a lot of other products. It can be amped up by using it damp or with a fingertip.
Marc Jacobs Flesh & Fantasy (discontinued) is one I’ve worn a lot and find flatters my coloring and a slew of looks, from bold to more subtle.
See what I did there? I’d totally do a custom, singles-of-my-choice palette over a pre-made if we’re talking forever… but I’m between Sydney Grace Autumn’s Reign (discontinued) or Natasha Denona Star palette… at least, when I’m answering today 🙂
La Mer The Soft Fluid… love it despite the price. It has looked good on my skin when it has been in various stages of distress.
Urban Decay Rebel Vice Lipstick (discontinued) is a flattering, mauve color with shine and pearl.
Pat McGrath Decadence (intense, high-shine shimmers in sort of grungier tones) or Sydney Grace Autumn’s Reign (more jewel-toned, colorful but not neon shades).
