How do you deal with over-applied foundation?

How do you deal with over-applied foundation?

For me, I usually have to remove and reapply. If it isn’t too over-applied, then I might use a dampened smudge to try and pull some of it off my skin.

How do you deal with lip colors that settle or feather?

How do you deal with lip colors that settle or feather?

Thankfully, feathering isn’t something I experience very often, but product that settles into my lip lines… to some degree. For certain types of products, e.g. gloss, I just live with it, but if it’s a lipstick, then I’d try using a lip primer or lip liner underneath to help manage it.

How do you deal with eyeshadow fallout?

How do you deal with eyeshadow fallout?

During application, it doesn’t bother me so much. I’ll wipe it away with a fluffy brush or use a cotton swab (with some remover) to remove heavier fallout. If it’s throughout wear, then I’d apply the shade with a dampened brush next time!

Do you change your mascara based on the type of look?

Do you change your mascara based on the type of look?

Sort of but not by a lot! I usually like more dramatic mascaras to begin with, but if I have a really dark/smoky lid area or lower lash line, I will try to use a more lengthening and thickening one (the length being more important) if I have one open.

What are your go-to base products for summer?

I’m indoors most of the time, and frankly, in Phoenix, summer is our winter so avoiding the outdoors is kind of key for most of the hot, hot summer days, LOL! I like a good tinted moisturizer (loving Fenty Eaze Drops) or BB cream for a little bit of coverage but something that I can smooth back...
