Not bad…and I think I like this better than Heat. But do we really need more of these?
It’s pretty, but I feel as though I have enough warm neutral and pink/peach themed palettes to easily dupe everything here. Nothing makes me want run out and get it.
These appear to swatch better than many of the other shades that have been reviewed but as I have found from reading Temptalia, swatches aren’t the only story. Application to the eye is where the problems sometimes start. I don’t need this as I have a gazzilion dupes so it is an easy pass for me.
Not for me. I do like Vegas Past and 1 More Thing is wearable for me but I’ve so many similar shades. That’s about it.
I just ordered this, and honestly, had they not played games with the release, I would have ended up buying the Baby Girl stack, but since Christine posted these swatches, I realized I really don’t need both. When will brands realize many of us are impulse buyers, and just release products without dragging then out…? Or at least setting a firm release date…? I really think they’d end up making a lot more money/sales if they stopped this nonsense. For me, not knowing exactly whwn it would officially launch just made me rethink the other items I planned to order with this palette, and instead just add more to my planned ULTA haul, and take further advantage of the 20% off…
I used mine today and I really like it. I don’t have the UD Naked Heat palette but I do prefer the color scheme in 27 bc 27 doesn’t have those super light shades in it that look ashy against my skin tone. This palette is really nice and pigmented for darker skin tones. Not a must have, but I don’t regret my purchase.
I love this range of colors, they make my blue eyes pop and are otherwise flattering to my tones. However, I have Viseart Siren and UD Naked Heat, plus a handful of singles like UD Riff and UD Spike, so am set for oranges/reds/warm browns a few times over.
AB – what do you think of Viseart Siren? It looks pretty online and in swatches but I find Viseart to be hit or miss for me. Do you like it?
The swatches do look amazing. The color scheme is one that looks great with my blue-green eyes. I just don’t know, though. I’ve got ABH MR, CP Yes, Please, UD Beached, Viseart Minx Theory, plus many warm neutral MAC, CP and UD singles. Yet, 27 is calling me….I may need an intervention!
Don’t do it, Nancy T! Save your money for something that will truly stand out in your collection! (Just trying to help, from one makeup addict to another.)
Why are companies stuck on these same colors? I personally have so many dupes of these shades already.
Is this a clone of Naked Heat?
It sure looks like it, doesn’t it?
Despite having similar colours in my collection already, not wearing warm colors often, and preferring a much darker color than that browny/burgundy thrown in, the only reason I’m not purchasing this – and didn’t get Gemini either – is simply because at this point in time I can’t spend the extra cash on “frivolous girl stuff.” I have an unnatural love/obsession with Melt Cosmetics and it has become my pokemon. For shame.
Thank you for reviewing/swatching so many of their products lately!
I feel I have this in multiple brands.
Penn Jillette, of Penn and Teller, has a daughter named Moxie Crimefighter. And, they’re from Vegas. I’m thinking they are somehow the inspiration for some of this. Lol
Pam, Moxie Crimefighter is also the name of Dana Bomar’s dog they have an Instagram page for the pup @themoxiecrimefighter She is one of the 2 CEO’s of Melt Cosmetics and she created this palette the other created Gemini.
i can never get enough warm palettes and this looks really nice. And again, so glad it’s a palette and not a stack. It may well be worth it, but with shipping, it’s close to $70 so does give one pause. I always like to support products made in USA though
I don’t need this but it’s been sucking me in and I keep going back and forth on if I’m going to get it. I have watched several YouTube videos reviewing the palette and MsBrandiLion a smaller YouTuber has a video where she reviews the palette, swatches it, and provides dupes. There are 6 spot on dupes in the Jaclyn Hill palette which I have and the other 4 shades are duped in 4 other palettes I have. She didn’t even include dupes from Urban Decay Naked Heat which I also own. So I don’t think I’m going to purchase this unless it scores very high when Christine reviews it. That is going to be my main deciding factor!!
