ColourPop managed to do a mid-toned blue, green and super dark vampy shade with NO streakiness or patchiness! Now those higher end bougee brands have ZERO excuses why they cannot get theirs down pat. I’m very impressed with the application of many of these, pigmentation and coverage wise, anyway. My only concern is that they accentuate lip texture. Yours, and also the ColourPop queen, YT’er ThatGirlShaeXO. And you’re both young, so this doesn’t bode well for us older folks!

My response exactly, Nancy. Beautiful shades and appear very pigmented and without streaking or patchiness. However, Christine has beautiful lips and these appear to be making her lips look a little more lined than they really are. Shae is the queen of CP lip swatches and they looked drying to me. I think I will pass as too matte just doesn’t work for me anymore, (actually it never really did as I added balm over or under anyway).

Hmm…glad I waited for your swatches (always a good idea ?) is it just me or are many of these really unflattering texturally?? They don’t seem smoothing at all they just look…odd ?

Mind trick is amazing..when i am very very lazy, i use lipstick as blush..this lipstick is in my opinion an amazing color for both lips and lightly on cheeks for mono-color effect ( which kim kardashian’s makeup artist god Mario does sometimes)
