Yes! Lolita blush on the eyes with some grey is so pretty! And Lolita lip or Bow and Arrow by her are my go to lipsticks!

Kat, I waffled back and forth about buying it but I am really glad I did. The 2 palettes since (Modern Renaissance and “Substandard”) have been total “no go’s” for me and I missed out on Self-Made, so Mario, while not perfect, is pretty close and I really enjoy using it. I wish they’d re-release and make it permanent.

Speaking of products I love, Too Faced Shadow Insurance kept my [Makeup Geek] eyeshadows creaseless for six solid hours today.
On my oil-slick skin, that’s miracle territory.
I wear it every time I wear eyeshadow!
I own so many variations of reddish pink lipsticks. It just complements my skin so well.
Oh, I’ve never tried the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I’ve been a longtime user of Urban Decay’s Primer Potion (Original). I have very oily lids too, and the UD primer can sometimes be a hit or a miss on its own. I tend to pair the UDPP with NYX’s Eyeshadow Base in NUDE. The combo allows my eyeshadow to always stay put, and I won’t spot an oily lid all day long.
Momo, after I apply my eyeshadow primer, I dust it with a light coat of Soap & Glory “One Heck of a Blot” powder, so I’m not sure if it’s the primer itself, or the powder, that’s stopping the creases, but *something* surely is.
Back to the survey: I’m taking a day off from makeup, since I’m spending the day at home.
It’s kind of nice, in a way, but I do enjoy applying makeup.

Today, fiddled with POTC, blues/grays. That’s what happens when a tropical storm is threatening, and not so much time outside with dogs. Lips: Nars enduring red, consuming red, then, with potc, julep ooh la la.

Last palette you used? Makeup Atelier Paris 5 Eyeshadows Natural Chestnut. It’s so gorgeous for classic smoky eyes! I use it on all my friends (I sometimes do their makeup before we go out) and it looks good on so many people.
Last lip color you used? MACxNicki Nicki’s Nude. It just came in the mail and I slapped some on!

Last eyesahdow you wore?: I did a look yesterday with MUG’s Sorbet and Bedrock in the crease, Bedrock on the outer third and a depotted shimmery white shade from that terrible (imo) Stila Eyes are the Window “Body” palette all over the lid (with NYX crayon in milk under the white).
Last palette you used?: A Colourpop empty palette that holds the shades I used above and quite a few more.
Last lip color you used? Guerlain’s Le Stylo Lèvres lip liner in Pivoine Magnifica all over with Buxom’s Full On Lip Cream in Dolly on top.
Skin tone: Medium warm tan (my MAC NC30 looks ghost-like on me, right now I am wearing an Urban Decay foundation in 5.0)
Today’s eyeshadow: I didn’t have time to do my eyes today so I just tapped NAR’s Hardwired Shadow on my lids. That’s it, I’m not even wearing mascara.
Last palette I used: NARS Narsissist Dual Intensity Cheek Palette. I’m wearing it today. This palette is amazing, the colors melt into my skin as if they are part of my skin!
Last lip color: Today I lined by lips with Buxom’s lip liner in Covert Affair, applied NARS Audacious lipstick in Mona to outer portion of lip, and filled in center of lip with MAC’s Morange. After about 2 hours of wear my lips get just a touch dry, so today I am remoistening them with Bobbi Brown’s Canary lipgloss.

Last eyesahdow you wore? I’m wearing so many rn… MAC Naked Pigment (<3), Melt Rubbish and Antique, MAC Coppering and I believe Brown Script? Basically the MAC dupe of Melt Rust. No liner on the top, just a lot of black mascara and some MAC Powersurge kohl on the waterline. It's a painfully standard issue millennial fall beat.
Last palette you used? I didn't actually buy the Rust Stack, I just picked up Rubbish and Antique as singles, but I'm basically wearing it today because I had to get a darker orange-brown to pull them into cohesive looks. I'm using a MAC shadow the exact way Rust was supposed to fit into the palette.
A little OT, but I don't regret not getting the whole shebang from Melt because their shadow quality is VERY hit and miss IME. :/ Rubbish is great and unique! Then from the same set, Antique is a cool color but it adheres as poorly as I've ever seen and is prone to blending out into nothing. I wouldn't have been thrilled with it at half the price to be totally honest.

Last palette you used? Yesterday I dragged out my Vice 2 to use Voodoo and Tonic (a pale peachy shade). Very pretty. Matched it with a Ginger/peachy lippie.
Last lip color you used? Today I am wearing Clarins Joli Rouge lipstick in Red Terra – my favourite red at the moment.
Your skin tone/coloring: light neutral leaning cool (NW20ish)
Last eyeshadow you wore? Tom Ford Disco Dust (all but the glitter) with Bobbi Brown shadow in Cream on the brow bone — my everyday staple. A nice look for work.
Last palette you used? The NARS Narcissist cheek palette that was just 50% off for Platinum members during 21 days of beauty — the Laguna bronzer and Golue (sp?) blush. First time using the palette and first time using Laguna. Seems like a nice tone for my skin.
Last lip color you used? MAC Liptensity in Toasted Almond.

Last eyeshadow and last palette that I used are one and the same: I used a combination of shades from the Snesthesia Modern Renaissance palette, I finally figured out that the best way to wear this palette is to blend the colors on your brush before application. Last lipstick was Bobbi Brown’s lip crayon in Brown Berry (a nude color despite the name) with MAC’s Saigon Sushi ( a warm coral nude) over it.

Last eyeshadow you wore? A shade from the Essence All About Roses palette
Last palette you used? Essence All About Roses palette- out of curiosity I bought this DS palette because it has like a 5 star rating on Ulta. I’m not into eyeshadow that much but in no way does this palette deserve anything more than a 3 star rating. It’s ok for a sheer wash of a color or 2 over the lid but that’s about it. The shades are more muted purples than rose too. Thumbs down on Essence eyeshadow palettes.
Last lip color you used? Rimmel Lasting Finish in 036 Pink this is a reasonable dupe for Estee Lauder’s classic Pink Parfait shade. Wore well for 3 hours, was comfortable & non-drying, faded gracefully to a non-patchy lighter shade of pink. I’m impressed for a DS lippy!

Last lip color you used? Notoriously Morbid’s matte liquid lipstick in “Sanguine Addiction.” **Gorgeous** dark cool red.

Last lip color you used? Clinique Spiced Apple… for half an hour last weekend and my lips hated me. My lips have been freaking out for over a month, so I haven’t been wearing anything besides lip balm. I’ve determined that it was the Eos lip balm I bought on clearance, now I’m recovering from it.
