My skin tone is warm light to medium,and to be honest I don’t own much glittery make-up 🙂 My NYX pearl mania eyeshadows are probably the sparkliest I own,but I don’t have any glittery lipstick or blush!

I recently had a bit of a glitter purge from my makeup after my boyfriend complained that I was “too old” to wear glitter anymore (27). Now I always restrain myself even though I’m still super drawn to glitter shadows. Is 27/28 just too old? I still own a bunch of glitter liners that get no love anymore and a bunch of glitter nailpolishes which do get lots of love. 😀
I’m 39, and I still wear glitter! I think the key is moderation. While I feel a full-face look using several glitter products is best left for the younger set, I think one (*maybe* two) products are perfectly fine.
I’m in the mid forties range but pass for much younger…and glitter eyeshadows are my new found addiction…I got most the UD shadows and love all my purchases. Only started purchasing UD the past 2 years….Back in the stone age years, I dont recall seeing quality glitter shadows….I had a few Nars but the UD shadows sparkle sparkle sparkle….I find UD is very do-able. Tom Ford make glitter shadows and they are not for the younger set. The key is not do look like a disco ball….but I do love Uzi.
Umm you are not young you are EXTREMELY YOUNG, just wear whatever you like! Don´t let anyone put you down.

Most glittery eyeshadow you own? Unless you count MAC’s glitters then it would have to be one of UD’s more glittery shades (MCRA for example) or one of MAC’s dark mineralize shadows, like the ones from Venomous Villains and Style Black.
Most glittery lipstick you own? MAC Rocker is the only glittery one I can think of off hand.
Most glittery blush you own? Ooh, one of MAC’s older glittery MSFs, I don’t know which.

Most glittery eyeshadow you own? UD Eldorado, Midnight Cowboy
Most glittery lipstick you own? I don’t think I have a glitter-finish lipstick just frosted ones. I do remember this Maybelline pearl finish pink lipstick I had a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. I threw it out because well, it didn’t look nice and no one would take it. lol.
Most glittery blush you own? NARS Orgasm isn’t glitter finish but it’s quite the most “glittery” in my entire stash.

Most glittery eyeshadow you own: I don’t like full on Glitter eyeshadow and avoid them like the plague as they are never formulated right. I own glitter from Lit Cometics, Naked Cosmetics and Coastal Scents to layer over eyeshadow it get the glitter finish. ^_^
Most glittery lipstick you own: OCC Yaoi. At first it look pearl in the tube but when you apply it the the micro shimmer of bright silver shows up and I end up with a disco ball finish on my lips. 😉 (Again this shade screams drag makeup even without the name without )
Most glittery blush you own: again why… why would anyone want glitter in a blush. o_O It’s all satin mattes and maybe subtle frost finish blushes for me. NARS albatross is as close as i get to in your face shimmer in a skin product.

Most glittery lipstick you own? I don’t have any glittery lipsticks, but I do have many glittery glosses. Mac Funtabulous is probably the most glittery of them and I don’t ever wear it because it’s too gritty.

Most glittery eyeshadow you own? TKB’s mermaid collection and Star bites, looooooove ’em, They’re the alternative for MUFE Hologlam eyeshadoes without the color mica added.
Most glittery lipstick you own?Lime crime “Candy apple” it seems like a gloss but delivers full color, really full color.
Most glittery blush you own? An unknown, super cheap brand, i bought twice a warm toned eyeshadow palette just for the blush it includes: one of the most beautiful, super cool toned, medium, bright pink, loaded with a plethora of diamond shimmer and sparkles, not glitter.
In fact i pair both blush and gloss: an amazing match.

Most glittery blush: Tarina Tarantino Coral Cameo blush and pressed sparklicity duo(the extremely glittery Sparklicity “highlighter” is useable only for very special occasions, at night and with a light hand!)

Most glittery eyeshadow you own? Wet n Wild Color Icon in Goldstruck (bright gold with lots of sparkle)
Most glittery lipstick you own? Stilla Kitten. I don’t do much sparkle on the lips, but its shimmery for sure.
Most glittery blush you own? I don’t wear much blush since I have bright red cheeks naturally, but I love this old Victorias Secret creme shimmer highlighter in Shell – its creamy, but adds such shimmer and highlights!
Skin: Light, very neutral.
Eyeshadow: This is hard… NARS Fathom has the largest flakes of glitter, but not the highest ratio. MAC Black Tied pretty much looks like silver glitter, with minimal pigmentation. I have *alot* of glittery shadows, but the two I mentioned are really the only two that don’t get much use, as they take the most effort.
Lipstick: I have a *really* old Jordana lipstick called “Red Glitter”; it’s basically red glitter suspended in a clear base. I haven’t worn it in years, but it’s so pretty to look at. I used to wear it with matching nail polish… I have several L’Oreal Infallible glosses that I absolutely love, though.
Blush: Probably some random GWP Lancome blushes. I don’t wear glitter blush, so I can’t think of anything off the top of my head.

I almost bought Cobra – tried it twice in store and then realized that I have an identical dupe in the WnW Comfort Zone palette but your comment makes me a bit relieved that I didn’t buy it now. What a shame, as it is otherwise such a desirable colour.

Skin tone: pale ivory with cool undertones
Eyeshadow: Urban Decay midnight cowboy (which I accidentally used once and never used again because the glitter just went everywhere on my face…) or Kanebo Kate Jewelry Mode Eyes in BR-2. The “brilliant color” or highlighter shade in the Kate palette is supposed to give a jewel-like shine, and it does! It’s sparkly and glittery for sure, but the glitter doesn’t migrate all over my face, and it looks lovely.
Lipstick: Shiseido shimmering rouge in red dragon. I don’t think I have any actual glittery lipsticks but this is the closest thing. I don’t think the shimmer packed in this lipstick is super noticeable until you wipe the lipstick off and see all the underlying shimmers. Still a lipstick that I love though!
Blush: Shiseido Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek in raspberry macaroon (a bright glittery pink). I really don’t do glittery blush but this color pink is perfect for my skin coloring, so a little bit of glitter is ok with me.

Most glittery eyeshadow you own? An amazing Essence one that is basically a truckload of khaki/brown glitter in a dark brown base. I forget the name. Looks super awesome in a smokey eye but has a lot of fallout.
Most glittery lipstick you own? I don’t have a lot of lipsticks on account of super dry lips and a general can’t be bothered attitude. The ones I do have are basic creamy pink-peach tones with a couple of creamy reds.
Most glittery blush you own? Maybelline Soft Nude (I think that’s the name). A really nice neutral that’s great for subtle colour, but it has odd champagne-y glitter that stands out far too much.

Most glittery lipstick you own? some have a subtle shimmer, but not really into glittery lipsticks (too much travel potential for glitter)
Most glittery blush you own? none, I don’t like glitter on my face. Eyes only.
Your skin tone/coloring: gold toned medium (Cali tan)
Most glittery eyeshadow you own? Probably Sidecar from the naked palette! I love shimmers, frosts, metallics and satins, but I don’t really like glitters much. I tap off as much as I can to get the pigment of sidecar with minimal fallout.
Most glittery lipstick you own? One of the Victoria’s Secret lipsticks… It’s called Red Fire or something close. It’s a bright, holiday-y red with heavy glitter. Definitely a miss in my eyes.
Most glittery blush you own? Sugar bomb by benefit- it’s most shimmer than glitter. I absolutely love it, it’s an everyday must have for me. ELF’s blushed/bronzed duo also has a shimmery blush that’s supposed to dupe NARS Orgasm.
