Amber, I can vouch for the Eden UDPP – I’ve used it for years and love it for that “blanking” effect. MAC Painterly does similar but for really long days or when it’s hot and humid, UDPP lasts longer.

Last beauty product you returned? Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush in Shameless. This blush was a hard as a rock; almost zero color payoff even on my fair skin. Shockingly disappointing.
Last beauty product you put on your wish list? Sachajuan Leave-In Conditioner. I’ve heard this product makes hair smooth and silky and smells amazing. Do want.

Hello there! Have you tried Hourglass Illusion Hylutonic skin tint? It’s marketed as tinted moisturizer but gives as much coverage as you choose, great for sensitive dry skin and a luminous finish! If you read the comments at Sephora, many, like myself, were very happily surprised with thick mouse that comes out and spreads lovely! Otherwise, Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation has been loved for its hydration, exceptional behavior on all skin types, and a natural satin finish! Good luck! 😀

.Last Beauty Product Purchased: Tom Ford gloss in Wet Violet
.Last Return: Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette. The product itself is lovely and finely-milled and beautiful. However, even on my very fair skin the three colors appeared the same no matter how much I built them up. I will certainly get a single blush as the effect is very subtle and pretty, just not worth having three of them in a palette that don’t look different enough from subtle blush application+subtle powder highlight or each other for me. I replaced it with UD Native Lip Liner (love it for nude and light pink looks! Definitely my favorite pencil of this color family yet), MUFE N18 lipstick (Powder Pink. So pretty! Fits Native very well), and NARS Burrow Street liner (one of my all-time favorites so this was a re-purchase).
Oh! Forgot my most recent wishlist adds. These were added at the same time:
Algenist Multi-Perfecting Pore Corrector Gel Moisturizer and the exfoliant from the same range, a ton of MUFE lipsticks and more Artist Intense shadows, and Marc Jacobs No. 7 The Parisienne palette.
Good to know I wasn’t the only one who felt the same about the Hourglass palette! It’s been getting such rave reviews I figured it only worked on really fair skin. The blushes were lovely texture wise, and I’m definitely considering getting an individual shade too.
Yeah, I’m pretty much the color of paper and they all still looked the same 🙁 Disappointing but I hope we both find single shades that work for our unique tones 🙂

A unused, just purchased 5 minutes ago Sephora liquid liner; they treated me so badly in the store I only bought it because I wanted them to see my VIB account and know that I wasn’t a shoplifter.
I have a TON of stuff on my wish list. I really want some MUFE eyeshadows and some lipsticks but I’m not sure exactly what’s brands/ formula
It’s a shame you were treated that way at Sephora! When my closest Sephora was having a staff turnover they acted like I was some kind of cheat for asking for samples each time I came in (about once a month). Really annoying! Sometimes everyone at that Sephora is wonderful, then they’ll go through staff changes and it will be horrible for a while, then it gets good again. My local ULTA is always consistently wonderful, except for one person. But they don’t give samples, and I really do like to try before I buy, because I will return if it doesn’t work for me. And they don’t have all the brands I want.
How annoying is that when Sephora promises that you get 3 samples with every purchase online and IN STORES. I never ever got any sample when making a purchase in one of their physical stores. They also treated me badly and I decided to simply stop giving them my hard-earned money. I haven’t shopped at Sephora since last April with the exception of one order during their 20% off sale to spend all my VIB points. I don’t regret it.

Last beauty product you returned? a whole slew of stuff from Ulta that I bought in a medication-induced manic haze. got out to my car, looked at it all and went “wtf is wrong with me” and marched right back in and returned it all. my manager laughed at me.

Last beauty product you returned? Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation. It clung to every dry patch and looked terrible. I couldn’t justify keeping it when it was so expensive 🙁

That happened to me with the LM Silk Creme! Its always highly recommended for dry skin but it clung to every dry patch like no other. So disappointed!

Last beauty product you purchased? my last purchase was an order from Beautylish which included the Wayne Goss brush number 14 (a wonderful cheek brush for when you want to apply just a hint of blush), three Inglot gel eyeliners (dark grey, dark brown, blue/violet, a re-purchase), seven Inglot eye shadows in medium and light blue/violet, blue/green, and green shades — take that, Sephora, for not letting me combine the 20% off sale with the discount when you buy three MUFE Artist Shadows together), and a pack of foundation brush size brush guards.
Last beauty product you returned? the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty eyeshadow palette — it could be that subtle eyeshadows are just not my thing — the transformer shade didn’t seem to transform anything on my skin
Last beauty product you put on your wish list? the tartelette Amazonian Clay matte palette is a strong contender, I have and love the Be MATTEnificent palette, the matte neutrals are perfect for setting off the more vivid shades I like to wear. If it turns out that the tartlette and be MATTEnificent palettes are too similar, then BECCA’s Ombre Nudes Eye Palette is the most recent thing I’m hankering after, and for the same reason. I wish I could find an opaque “nude” or even “pinky-nude” lipstick that doesn’t make me look sick or dead.

Last beauty product you returned? As far as I can remember I have never returned a beauty product yet. I’m not used to it since it’s something that’s just not allowed in Spain, where I had lived most of my life before moving to the USA.

It does not hold its main promise of smoothing out the face which is a shame at that price point (85€). It is odd as the Densiliss Compact Powder works wonders… Wish I had only bought that one.

returned: guerlain tenue de perfection foundation. a MUA applied at an event, and i bought it hoping it would work, but the undertone is so wrong and its a bit dark. i also traded exchanged lingerie de peau for the correct color (SA gave me 13 instead of 31-huge difference). i hoping this one works better than the perfection
