No!! I am usually the only one wearing makeup when I go out with friends and it makes me feel ugly because I have bad skin so I cover it up and I love eye makeup, but they all look awesome without.

Mostly just my sisters. My older sister loves when I do her makeup, but my younger sister calls my bathroom the “torture chamber” :/ Hehe
Nope! No one in my family loves makeup as much as I do. They think I wear too much, have too much, and when I tried doing my mom’s makeup once, she said it was too much and immediately washed it all off. 🙁 So it’s places like your blog that I’m so grateful for.

Do you share your makeup with your friends/family? Like makeup to use kind of borrowing? Nope! (I’m slightly germ neurotic) Do I try to share my love of makeup – yes but they’re not obsessed as me even if one of my aunts has a PRO Card!

Cut family from the next two questions-my family is NOT present in my life, so its not really applicable.
* Do you share your makeup with your friends/family? I don’t see people very often, when I have my makeup handy, but i DO try to share when I can. When I pressed my loose pigments, I pressed an additional set for a friend, since there was MORE than enough shadow to do another pan. When I buy the Urban Decay BoS’s and there’s duplicates with colors I already own, I give them to someone. I have so many products already that i never hit pan, it seems stupid to hog duplicates. particularly when I know that someone would love the color, and probably wouldn’t buy makeup that expensive for herself.

Sometimes, not very often. Same reason as above. My stuff is large enough that i don’t carry it with me. if i do someones face, its on a day specifically planned for that, so i can bring my pile of stuff and KNOW it’ll get used. Obviously, this doesn’t happen very often.

While most of my female friends and family are interested, none to the extent that I am! I’m the one they go to when they have a problem, or need to research a new product, but it’s not like I can call them and freak out about new collections (with the exception of my best friend, who manages an Ulta!)
Of course I share my product with my f&f, honestly, if I didn’t, a lot of it would go bad before I got a chance to use it!
As far as doing makeup for them, it’s always an open invite, but they rarely ask me. I think since it’s my job, they worry that they’re essentially asking me to work during my time off!

– not really, they just like it, and get what they need – like 6-7 lipsticks, 4-5 blushes and 5-6 quads are enough.

– Rarely. Unless it’s my mom/sister, I don’t like people using my stuff. And if I wanna give them something, I’ll go buy a new one, even it’s something I hardly use.

My friends all use make-up, but none of them are so into it as I am!
I never share my make-up. If somebody wants something, I would gladly get them one just like it, and if I do make-up on other people, I use their make-up, not my own.
I would use my brushes, though, and just wash them afterwards.

My best friend and my mom both share my love of all things beauty, I can’t tell you how many times we have sat on the phone for an hour talking about makeup and skincare! I love it so much. I’ve been thinking about starting a blog about beauty because I always have friends asking me what they should use…I’m not sure though. there are so many out there and I have no idea how to make mine stand out.

Mainly only my mom and BFF, but yes, we do. I love when I go to Florida to visit mama and we have facial nights with all the fun products that we both have!

My friends and family do not understand my love of beauty. I often hear, “You’re obsessed.”, “You have a problem/You’re addicted.”
It’s ironic that that changes so drastically when they actually benefit from my awesome collection of products. There’s a weekend line up in my bedroom for make overs. My mother and sister use what they need as long as they don’t leave the house with it. I hate trying to use a product only to find out it’s with my sister at a friend’s house. That goes for everything except mascara and eyeliner. I don’t want pink eye.

1) My closest best friend is starting to catch on, but I’d say at this point she really only likes make up as opposed to loving it. Thankfully, I have another friend who is my go to girl when sharing tips/reviews/etc pertaining to make up. My other best friend who happens to be male, and not flamboyant in any way, is actually another person I enjoy going to make up counters. He knows his way around a MAC counter to say the least, but still needs some help in a Sephora.
2) My mom is about the only person I share my make up with and vice versa. I expect that to change when my younger sister gets older.
3) I’ve only done it about a handful of times, but I honestly don’t enjoy it as much. I like teaching people how to properly apply every product. So they can always recreate the look on their own.

– No, most of them use very little make-up. But that’s okay, because it won’t stop ME from sharing my interests with them. I mean if you are a friend who loves me you’ll have no problem listen to me talking about this subject for at least 1 day a week. I just make sure I pay attention to their interests too.

Let me tell you: Someone got me this gorgeous lipstick. I get all excited, I want to use it right away. I open it and this lipstick looks weird. I ask about it and learn that the lady used it first before giving it to me. I’m like WTF! Sure: she cut off the top so I wouldn’t notice (as if), but still: NOT COOL!
I tried to keep her anyway because I loved the color so much I was hoping to get over it, but sadly I had to let her go.
Sometimes my mom is an exception, but that’s okay, becuase I already know how she applies her lipstick and stuff so I can work around it.
But eyeshadows and glosses, mascara’s?!!! No. Just… No.

None of them love it as much as I do. I still have to remind some of them from time to time about the horror of using the same disposable sponge for a year without washing, although they love going through my stash.

Do I share my makeup? Yes – I give things that I don’t use away to friends so nothing goes to waste! Otherwise, I don’t share what I use because of germs. And my stash is all for ME!

1. NO 🙁 I mean, when I get new products that I think are awesome and I tell my friends about it or whip it out of my stash to use they think it’s awesome and want to use it or have me put it on them or whatever (depending on what kind of product it is). But other than that, they don’t really go out on their own and look at sephora or MAC or anything beauty related online. So I’m pretty much their source for anything make-up wise. I’m pretty sure most of my friends don’t even know what MAC is lol
2. Yes, of course. Whenever I buy something that I’ve tried and really love; whether it’s eyeshadow, lipstick, moisturizer, perfume etc. I always first tell my mom about it and let her try it out. Then if she likes it, I’ll usually buy it for her.
And I always share my finds with friends and let them know where they can get it if they like it too.
3.I’ve done a few of my friends make-up a few times when we’ve went out for the night. They love it. They’re always intrigued that I use brushes and things like primers haha! Because they all just use the basics; Eyeliner, mascara, foundation, chapstick.
sadly, no, no, and no for me as well. I do have one friend who likes makeup, but always wears the same look, is hesitant to try new things/looks, and guards her wallet much more successfully than I do.

I share beauty products with a few friends, my sis and mother in law. My mother in law is the only one I go beauty shopping with and who actually gets excited about new releases! I also steered her away from Estee Lauder and Bare Escentuals to MAC and Lancome 🙂

No – Out of my close circle of girlfriends I’m definitely the most obsessed. In fact, one of my girlfriends will sometimes go clubbing without a speck of makeup on (and look fabulous at that!).
No – I don’t like to share makeup for sanitary purposes. I’ll occasionally share lipglosses if we’re out on the town but other than that I do share my makeup, it’s only to give away to them permanently.
No – I wish I had a sister to practice putting makeup on. My mom rarely wears makeup (which I think helps explain why she barely has any wrinkles. I want to be in my 50s and have immaculate skin like hers!)
