Your skin tone/coloring: NC23, Light, with prominent yellow undertones. Warm dark brown hair, Dark hazel eyes!
Best powder blush formula? NARS has an AMAZING formula IMO! I only have two of their blushes (As theyre close to $40 EEP) but I have hit pan on one of them, and Im close on the second one!
Best cream blush formula? I ADORE Sephora Brand Colorful Cheek Ink gel! It’s literally a gel blush. That’s pretty sheer. But it’s stunning!! I love to do a layer of this, then setting powder. Then do a layer of powder blush on top in the summer!!!
All-time favorite blush formula? Clinique Cheek Pop Blushes!!! 😀 The BEST!!! So creamy, and they practically blend themselves!
Your skin tone/coloring: NW45- 47
Best powder blush formula? mac , illamasqua , nars and sleek
Best cream blush formula? oh wow i don’t know
All-time favorite blush formula? mac
Just got the Sleek flame trio, which you must have. Very hot! Had to have one to try it. Hope Ulta gets more colorways. I like it, but it must look tremendous on you!
it looks gorgeous but i don’t have it ( i have surgar, pink spirit and lace) i have exibit A from nars so this is the same thing, it is one of my fav .
Coloring: light, neutral-ish undertones, brown hair, brown eyes
Best powder blush formula: Tarte, and much as I hate to say it, the Too Faced Love Flush formula works really well on my skin.
Best cream blush formula: I never, ever use cream blush. Too much of a pain in the butt to work with.
All-time favorite blush formula: Tarte and Too Faced Love Flush, at least for me. Both of those seem to stick around on my face longer than other blushes… Even my favorite blush shade ever, UD Rapture.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Best powder blush formula? Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush; Clinique Cheek Pop; Sleek; Urban Decay Afterglow; Too Faced Love Flush; The Balm In-Stain.
Best cream blush formula? MUFE, hands down.
All-time favorite blush formula? I think Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush works best with my oily skin, but Clinique Cheek Pop has the nicest texture and blendability.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertones.
Best powder blush formula? Probably Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush!
Best cream blush formula? The only cream blush I’ve ever liked is Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush from back in the day
All-time favorite blush formula? Has to be Tarte Amazonian Clay!
Your skin tone/coloring: Light Neutral, alburn hair, brown eyes.
Best powder blush formula? Tom Ford (Love lust and Ravish are my favorites. Love Lust is easier for me to use in a hurry since Ravish requires me to blend it more.)
Best cream blush formula? Hmm, I don’t wear these much. The Nyx ones are pretty good. I have probably more than 30 blushes and not a single cream one at the moment.
All-time favorite blush formula? Tom Ford and then Marc Jacobs Air brush. Before these I could never get blush to lash all day on my oily skin.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light, medium
Best powder blush formula?
Sometimes it depends on the shade, but I’m in for Tom Ford and Chanel.
Best cream blush formula?
I’ve had so little experience with cream blushes, I really can’t say.
All-time favorite blush formula?
Don’t think I have one. It certainly has changed over time too.
Your skin tone/coloring: Dark with golden undertone (around NC 50)
Best powder blush formula? Paarty by Tarte
Best cream blush formula? Orange by NYX
All-time favorite blush formula? Format by MAC
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, warm (NC10-ish), blue eyes, brown hair w/copper highlights
Best powder blush formula? currently it’s Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten (in Pink Grapefruit; it’s ok, though am likely to explore options when I use this up)
Best cream blush formula? Colourpop super shock (currently it’s Bardot, a little orange for my taste these days so am going to try other shades next)
All-time favorite blush formula? Chanel Joues Contrast — my HG for years was Tempting Beige in this formula; discontinued ~2 years ago. None of the current shades strike my fancy but I try new shades when added because I liked this formula so much.
NW 20. By stash representation, must like Nars best, by yards, with no close second. Cream: skin always used to eat it, so it was useless. Now, I like CPSSC, which isn’t exactly cream, but close enough, and it shows up an hour later, which is a plus. Even Nars Turkish Red, which is quite dark, pooof! All time fave formula, prob Nars again. With old MUG a distant second.
Your skin tone/coloring: light and warm
Best powder blush formula? That’s a hard one… I have many blushes that I love but I can’t say I have a HG formula that always works no matter the shade. High up the list I would say Bobbi Brown, Nars, Too Faced.
Best cream blush formula? Lancome does my favorite cream blush formula, the Blush Subtil Creme, unfortunately it’s not permanent, but it seems to come back regularly in LE collections. It blends like a dream and looks very natural, with a good color payoff.
All-time favorite blush formula? The Lancome cream I just mentioned. Nothing looks quite as pretty or flattering on me!
NC15-20
Best Powder Blush Formula: I love the Marc Jacobs Airblush and the MAC extra dimension blushes
Best Cream Formula: Ilia Multiple Stick, Tarte cheek stain
All time favorite: Ah that’s so hard. I have been loving the Nars liquid blushes in Torrid and Luster but it’s too soon to call them all time favorites! Maybe the Marc Jacobs Airblush are still hanging onto the top spot for me right now. 🙂
Your skin tone/coloring: NC 15, fair light neutral in tarte forest of the sea foundation
Best powder blush formula? Chanel is my favorite. I used to use tarte blushes but that was because I didn’t know better. Got my Chanel blush and I was HOOKED. The fragrance was good but a tad bit too strong but the formula! Dang!
Best cream blush formula? I’ve only used canmake (Japanese brand) and YSL kiss and blush so I don’t really know if there are better ones out there.
All-time favorite blush formula? Chanel powder blushes.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair with pink undertones
Best powder blush formula? NARS
Best cream blush formula? I’ve only tried Tarte’s and I enjoyed it
All-time favorite blush formula? NARS no one does blush better
Your skin tone/coloring: Neutral, Light to Medium
Best powder blush formula? Nars
Best cream blush formula? Hourglass
All-time favorite blush formula? Nars
Your skin tone/coloring: NW15 / Sephora 1R04 / MUFE R230.
Best powder blush formula? The two blushes I have from Rouge Bunny Rouge are my favorite with regard to formula. I also love my Urban Decay blushes.
Best cream blush formula? Face Stockholm.
All-time favorite blush formula? Rouge Bunny Rouge. Orpheline is my favorite shade.
Skin tone/coloring: Very fair, slight pink under tone, MAC NW10-13. Black eyes, black hair.
Best powder blush formula: I think my favorite right now is Clinique Cheek Pops. I also like Marc Jacobs, Lancome, and Benefit.
Cream blush: I’ve never tried one.
All time favorite blush: Clinique Cheek Pop in Heather. It doesn’t overpower my skin tone, looks good with multiple different looks, and will last from 5 am until 8 pm. What more can I ask?
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium Neutral MAC NC 30/35
Best powder blush formula? MAC
Best cream blush formula? Nars Multi Stick
All-time favorite blush formula? Mac
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, cool
Best powder blush formula? It used to be MAC Sheertone Shimmer or some of the Mineralize blushes (they have the most lovely sheen) but now it’s the new Extra Dimension blushes
Best cream blush formula? I don’t think I have one; Sephora did have a cream blush called “contour blush” or something equally confusing and I have one of those; it’s okay but not great
All-time favorite blush formula? again, probably (at least for the time being) the MAC Extra Dimension blushes (with a nod of the head to MAC Sweet Sentiment Mineralize Blush and a few of the older Mineralize blushes)
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones MAC NC37 or Lancôme Teint Idole 24HR Foundation N 360, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.
Best powder blush formula: UD Afterglow Blush, which *seems* to be going on the chopping block? That will make me terribly sad as Rapture is my all-time favorite blush. I do also love most of my MAC blushes as well. Excellent formula on both, but Afterglow is still the BEST.
Best cream blush formula: Easy! ColourPop makes fantastically long lasting pigmented cream blushes that STAY PUT on my slightly oily face!
All-time favorite blush formula: UD Afterglow! If Wende Zomnir happens to read this; Please, pretty, pretty please don’t axe Afterglow! They are HG for so many of us out here.
Seriously, Nancy? UD is d/c’ing afterglow? It almost sounds as if P&G is demanding a total overhaul of something every other year. Another case of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.’ I only have rapture, and prob could never finish it, but what a great shade. Flirted with the others, but was often duped. Eventually, I cut back in blush to only holes in stash, unusual, or highly preferred colors. I really don’t see any ‘need for improvement’ in UD blush at all. Some people had issues with revolution l/s, though a two year life span for a formula, really? Either this is manic cycling, or the cos are shortening the lifespans of formulas artificially. More FOMO foment. More turnover, and in my case, more turn off!
Unfortunately, there is much worry to that effect, KJH. Mainly because they’ve been on sale for a while. So have their Revolution lip glosses. I don’t for absolute certain, but rumor has it, that this is par for the course for UD to put products on deep discount right before they DC it; Revolution lipstick?
I keep hoping the discounts on the Afterglow Blushes will just be a packaging change, but that’s probably in vain. Rapture and Bittersweet will be huge losses unless they keep the colors in whatever new line they come up with.
Hopefully that’s all it is, Rachel; re-packaging. Because I will seriously cry if they scrap those 2 shades, especially Rapture!
Skintone / coloring : light, NC 20, med brown hair and eyes
Best powder blush formula: I really enjoy Clinique Cheek Pop blushes. Their buildable and smooth. You cannot go wrong!
Best cream blush: I don’t have one. I don’t buy/use cream blush at all. It doesn’t work on my oily skin
All time favorite blush formula : Clinique, MAC and Tarte
I have to add NARS. Orgasm has been HG for me for some time and one of the only blushes I’ve hit pan on
Skin tone: Fair with neutral undertones
Best powder blush formula? Such a tough question! I think NARS, Hourglass, Clinique, Marc Jacobs, and Tarte all make amazing blushes.
Best cream blush formula? I’ve never found a cream blush I truly loved. The NARS Multiple formula is the only one I’ve used more than a few times without giving up on it.
All-time favorite blush formula? “All-time” being the operative word, I guess I’d have to go with NARS! I have quite a few in my collection and I use them all the time.
Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium with warm undertone, MAC NC 23/Giorgio Armani LSUVF 5.5/Estee Lauder 2N1/Tom Ford Bisque/Shiseido Synchro Skin Golden 3
Best powder blush formula? Tom Ford, Chanel or MAC Extra Dimension
Best cream blush formula? Not sure – haven’t used any yet.
All-time favorite blush formula? MAC Extra Dimenision
Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium neutral
Best powder blush formula? Marc Jacobs Air blush
Best cream blush formula? Kevyn Aucoin creamy glow and Burberry cream blush.
All-time favorite blush formula? Marc Jacobs Air blush.
Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones.
Best powder blush formula: I really like the Marc Jacobs blushes. I am able to start out subtle and build them up slowly so that my fair complexion doesn’t end up looking like a circus clown.
Best cream formula: I like the Cle de Peau, Becca and Stila cream blushes.
Best blush formula: For an overall winner I have to go with the Clinique Cheek Pops and Marc Jacobs.
My skin tone is fair with neutral undertones…Estee Lauder foundation in 1N1.
I love CHANEL Joues Contraste powder blush in Malice 71, and Le Blush Creme de CHANEL in Presage 62. I also love Vapour Organic Beauty multi use sticks for cream blush. My favorite is probably the CHANEL Joues contraste powder blush…a little goes a long way so it lasts forever.
Best powder blush formula: Laura Geller Blush and Brighten–very pigmented and a light sheen
Best cream blush formula: Stila convertibles
All time favorite: Laura Geller Pink Buttercream and Stila Convertible in Rose. I love blush and have too many, but I use these two most ever day. I layer the powder blush over the cream blush.
Oops–Skin tone NW20-25
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain with pink undertones
Best powder blush formula? I prefer Natio’s Sunkissed blush mosaic and the Clarins blush in peach
Best cream blush formula? I don’t use cream blushes
All-time favourite blush formula? As above. I have been using the Natio one for awhile now and have re-purchased a few times. I tried the Becca Jacklyn Hill palette, but it was way too sparkly on my mature skin and a couple of shades just didn’t work out, so I returned it. It was also $89 – which was really too expensive to spend on a blush, in comparison to the Natio one ($16 on sale) and the Clarins one ($29) on sale. I have decided/found out that slightly matte blushes look better on me.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, cool
Best powder blush formula? MAC
Best cream blush formula? YSL Kiss & Blush
All-time favorite blush formula? Powder
Your skin tone/coloring: Caramel/MAC NC50ish.
Best powder blush formula? MAC for now. I really want to try NARS too.
Best cream blush formula? I don’t use cream blush. It’s a no-no with my oily skin.
All-time favorite blush formula? I’m yet to discover my favourite formula. NARS, perhaps?
Your skin tone/coloring: Pretty much the same as Christine’s only slightly lighter, hazel eyes & platinum blond hair
Best powder blush formula? High End= Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, Drugstore= Essence Satin Touch or Silky Touch
Best cream blush formula? High End= Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush and Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge, Drugstore= L’oreal Visible Lift
All-time favorite blush formula? For the price & the way I sheer out my blush the discontinued Essence Silky Touch and current Essence Satin Touch blushes are my faves. They apply beautifully, are richly pigmented, long wearing, and do not emphasize the enlarged pores on my cheeks. Some have a fine shimmer but no chunks of glitter. I just wish they had more colors!
Skintone: NC20/25, yellow undertones
Best Powder Blush: Lorac Color Source, Tarte Amazonian Clay, Milani Baked blushes, NYX HD blush
Best Cream Blush: NYX cream blush, Stila Convertible Color
All Time Favorite Blush Formula: Milani Rose blushes
Your skin tone/coloring: medium light with warm undertones.
Best powder blush formula? Milani – Luminoso and Fiona Stiles’ Soft Cheek Veil in Lex
Best cream blush formula? never tried a cream formula…honestly I’m not a “blush” girl
All-time favorite blush formula? That’s tough – I really love the ones I listed above, but I’m leaning towards Fiona Stiles – it’s just so soft and delicate
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium with yellow undertones (NC25 ish)
Best powder blush formula? I LOVE MAC Sheertone Blushes. The powders apply SUPER evenly and the pigmentation is just enough that it’s very VERY hard to go overboard, which makes application a cinch.
Best cream blush formula? Loving BITE BEAUTY Multisticks. The blendability and staying power are both really great, as well as pigmentation. It sheers out a lot, but to a still visible point.
All-time favorite blush formula? MAC Sheertone Blush, but particularly in the shade Peaches. This is my oldest and most cherished blush. I use others quite a bit as blush is my favorite makeup item, but I always go back to this and can’t live without it.
Your skin tone/coloring: Deep Dark / NW50
Best powder blush formula? MAC Cosmetics, Sleek, NARS
Best cream blush formula? Colour Pop
All-time favorite blush formula? In general, matte powder blush from MAC
Skin tone/coloring: very fair, yellow undertones with pink overtones
Best powder blush formula? This is a hard question! I love Laura Geller Blush’n’Brighten, Tarte Amazonian Clay, and Clinique Cheek Pop pretty much equally.
Best cream blush formula? Glossier Cloud Paint.
All-time favorite blush formula? Laura Geller, I guess — if I don’t know what to wear, that’s the one I reach for!
