- What’s your go-to perfume this month?
- What was the first perfume you fell in love with?
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
What’s your favorite perfume family? I don’t think I have one
What’s your go-to perfume this month? Lise Watier Vent du Sud. It always makes me think of the Joni Mitchell song “Carey” – “Oh, the wind is in from Africa…”
What was the first perfume you fell in love with? It would have to be Caleche, from Hermes, which I wore through most of my 20’s. It was then replaced by Chanel 19, which still owns a piece of my heart!
these are easy…thank you!
1.light olive
2. Floral
3. Delphine from Define me
4. L’Air du Temps
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair).
What’s your favorite perfume family? Whatever YSL Black Opium Nuit Blanche, Avon x Christian LaCroix Absynthe, and Tom Ford Black Orchid fall under? Anything that evokes a sense of mystery along with a rich sensuality. Unfortunately, I’m no expert in fragrance families. I just go for what works for me and makes me feel good!
What’s your go-to perfume this month? With our oppressive heat, now combined with the monsoon humidity, I’m just hitting Maison Margiela Beach Walk lately.
What was the first perfume you fell in love with? Karl Lagerfeld’s (sp?) OG Chloe!!! Wish it still existed.
I’m not an expert in fragrance families either. I looked it up when I saw the question! Lol
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium with warm yellow undertones, dark brown hair and eyes.
What’s your favorite perfume family? Vanilla 😅
I am usually attracted by sweet gourmand perfumes… notes like vanilla, coffee, caramel, honey, coconut, pear and plum (in a dessert, not a fresh fruit way).
I have an odd body chemistry and anything sweet smells very toned down on me, things that are sickening sweet on others smell almost fresh on me.
What’s your go-to perfume this month? 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods
What was the first perfume you fell in love with? I don’t know if it was necessarily love, but I clearly remember wanting so much to buy Pur Blanca in the era my school colleagues were selling Avon to make a little bit of money.
But true love… Givenchy Hot Couture was the first time I truly fell in love (in more than one way).
I love The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods! I also bought The 7 Virtues Santal Vanille, but wound up returning it because it was too powdery on me.
YOUR SKIN TONE/COLORING: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PERFUME FAMILY?
Warm spicy
WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO PERFUME THIS MONTH?
Andromeda’s Curse Perfume Oil in Darkest Violet. It’s dark and kind of spicy, but not heavy. Perfec for our cool, wet spring.
WHAT WAS THE FIRST PERFUME YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH?
I was a very little girl, and it was Avon’s Hawaiian White Ginger. I was obsessed. Ginger, jasmine, citrus, some warm spice — not a total surprise for young me.
Oh, and thank you for the survey for your survey lovers! ❤️
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20
What’s your favorite perfume family? Amber. Woodsy or clean scents depends on the weather
What’s your go-to perfume this month? Clean Reserve Sel Santal
What was the first perfume you fell in love with? Navy, Elizabeth Arden Red Door or Sunflowers and Calvin Klein Eternity. I cannot stand CK Eternity now. Strong florals really agitate me!
Yay, the survey is back! I’ve been on a perfume binge for the past couple weeks, so I love these questions…
Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair
What’s your favorite perfume family? I guess I would say “fresh” is my #1 because I love citrus and green scents. But I also love scents that are oriental/woody because I love vanilla and sandalwood.
What’s your go-to perfume this month? I don’t have just one! I’ve been switching between YSL Libre, Tiffany & Love, The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, and a layered combination of Chanel No. 19 and Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic.
What was the first perfume you fell in love with? It was a musk oil that my mom gave me in the early 1970s when I was about 13. It was in a heavy smoky glass bottle with a big glass stopper and no label. I don’t know where she got it, but it wasn’t something you could find in a mainstream store. My mom’s signature fragrance back then was Bal à Versailles, and when I was in high school she gave me the bath oil, which I would dab on my wrists and neck. Looking back, that’s a pretty intense perfume for a teenage girl!
What does skin tone have todo with fragrance?
In this instance, it doesn’t, the survey just has that included as part of the usual template, and I didn’t think to remove it.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What’s your favorite perfume family? Something spicy…
What’s your go-to perfume this month? For my everyday perfumes I am like some of Estee Lauder’s older fragrances – Knowing, Sensuous, Beautiful and even Youth Dew
What was the first perfume you fell in love with? Hmmm – a hard one because I have loved fragrances all my life – it was probably my mother’s favourite – which was Jontue from Revlon, but then I moved onto Clinique’s Aronmatics – which I still love today
Thank you once again Christine for the Survey Says section – love it!

Your skin tone/coloring: pale yellowish, coral hair, blue eyes
What’s your favorite perfume family? I tend to like a little of everything, but am especially drawn to rosey scents, fresh scents, and fruit gourmands.
What’s your go-to perfume this month? I’m not a body spray person most of the time, but now that I WFH body spray has become a bigger part of my routine. I have been loving Mix:Bar’s Whipped Almond this month. It is warm and nutty and delicious with a slight edge, and it is very inexpensive.
What was the first perfume you fell in love with? I fell head over heels for L’Eau d’Issey in the early 2000s. I don’t wear it much anymore but I still think it is so lovely and unique and special.

My everyday base products are Fenty-Amber Match Stick as cheek contour and Pro Filt’r concealer and Soft Matte foundation in 110.
What’s your favorite perfume family? I don’t have one particular favorite perfume family, but I’ve always been drawn to the fruity, floral, and gourmand families.
What’s your go-to perfume this month? I don’t really have a go-to, but my most recent wear is Demeter x Elvira Vamp-one of a collection of four scents that she collaborated with them on. Vamp includes notes of belladonna, nicotine, ivy, vanilla, musk, and-appropriately enough!-Dracula orchid.
What was the first perfume you fell in love with? I’ve always had a weakness for celebrity fragrances. My first perfume was Antonio Banderas Spirit, but the first one I really loved would have to be either Britney Spears Circus Fantasy or Ed Hardy Hearts & Daggers!
