Not that I have tried many but from what I have:

Best eyeshadow brush?: #239 and #219
Best blending brush?: #217
Best eye lining brush?: I have only #266 which I use for lining.

Best blending brush?: sonia kashuk fluffy (white handle)
Best eye lining brush?: i use the brush that avon used to sell with their mousse liner. lol

Best eye lining brush?: I couldn’t find any. So I purchased an Art brush Raphael 8204 Kaerell n°0. It’s 4 times cheaper than Mac and works to perfection to draw super thin lines!

Best eyeshadow brush?: Bare Minerals (I don’t see it on sephora) it’s a regular eyeshadow brush on one side and an angled fluffier brush on the other
Best blending brush?: Same brush, use the fluffier side
Best eye lining brush?: Elf’s angled brush

Haha, I only have a HK SE eye brush and to be honest I’m not a huge fan of MAC brushes… lol.

Best eyeshadow brush?: EDM everyday eyeshadow brush (the OLD one)
Best blending brush?: tie between EDM eye kabuki and Crown Brushes Studio Series C151 small chisel fluff
Best eye lining brush?: EcoTools angled liner

It is understandable if your opinion is based on those HK SE brushes, because they are not supposed to be good brushes! They are factory made, poor quality brushes. If you want good quality MAC brushes, then you need to invest in the full size ones 😀
