Most used lip product this month? I think I’ve used a different lipstick every day this month. Maybe I’ve used UD Zealot twice.
Go-to cheek products this month? Clinique Ginger Pop.
Favorite eye palette this month? I’ve used a few, mostly I’ve been using singles, but thanks to Genevieve I dug out UD Naked (1) and have used it a lot this week. It’s a lovely palette and I’ll never understand why they DC’ed it.
Too funny – I just thanked Genevieve for sparking my interest in (and purchase of) Charlotte Tilbury’s The Rebel quad! I agree with you (and her) about UD discontinuing the original Naked palette. THAT seems to have started them on their business plan to discontinue ALL their best products and replace them with cr*ppy ones!
The Rebel is on my list, but I think I want The Rock Chick first. I’m really liking grey eyeshadow at the moment.
I only have three CT quads, Pillow Talk, Luxury Palette of Pops and my favourite from the brand, Uptown Girl, I use it a lot, mostly when I feel low on inspiration as it’s so easy to use.
The brand is on the expensive side, so it’ll probably be a while before I get a new quad from them. Last year was brutal for my economy with two dogs costing a lot in veterinary bills even though both are/were fully insured.
And now we have the most expensive electricity since, ever. Petrol (gasoline) is also really expensive. So, I’m an a no – low buy tight now.
I do have enough to shop my stash, like I did with Naked 1.
I think Christine gave the new UD lipsticks good grades, even though they have a smaller, much, much smaller range now so there’s at least that keeping UD on my radar.
I bought The Rock Chick a few weeks after getting The Rebel because I was so pleased with The Rebel. You won’t be disappointed but I fully understand waiting. With the world holding its breath now and the uncertainty, I think many of us are rethinking our spending, especially after the past 2.5 years of the Pandemic and its huge costs too… My daughter has a very pricey baby carriage on her registry/wish list and I want to get it for her and I couldn’t help thinking that I’ve spent at least that much in the past year on makeup/skin care and I feel a bit ashamed. As for UD, now that Sephora has messed up my favourite pencil liner, UD’s Corrupt 24/7 liner will probably be my “go to” (unless UD messes with that too!)
Sometime we can feel a a bit ashamed by our spending habits, but at the same time the products we buy gives us so much pleasure and fun.
A baby carriage is so important, it must be comfortable for us as well as for baby. It helps if we love it. Many years ago, when we bought the pram for our son, we had to get one that fit into the car, we had a BMW convertible, so we had to try with quite a few before finding one we could use. It was kind of fun, as others bought ones they loved, we had other priorities. We absolutely didn’t want another car.
Memories can be so much fun, I’ve not thought about that car in ages, I loved it though it wasn’t the most practical perhaps, but it was so much fun.
Most used lip product this month? Fenty Gloss Bomb in “Champ Stamp Fantasy”
Go-to cheek products this month? The Colourpop x Powerpuff Girls Pressed Powder Blush in “Saving the World”
Favorite eye palette this month? Colourpop x The Mandalorian Round 2 palette

Most used lip product this month? Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Amazing Amal shade
Go-to cheek products this month? NARS blush Orgasm shade
Favorite eye palette this month? Jeffree Star Blood Money

Most used lip product this month? it won’t come as a surprise to anyone – MAC Craving (and also Nuxe lip balm stuff in the little pot – it’s ugly and I’m not crazy about it but it’s really helped my chapped lips overnight)
Go-to cheek products this month? MAC Sweet Sentiment Mineralize Blush
Favorite eye palette this month? I’ve mostly been using self-assembled palettes made up of singles but as for a pre-made palette, probably Charlotte Tilbury’s The Rebel (thank you, Genevieve!)
