Skin tone/coloring: Porcelain, cool undertones

Best brand for lipgloss: Buxom Full-Bodied (non-tingly formula), BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie, Laura Mercier Lip Glace, Chantecaille

Best brand for eyeliner: Right now I can’t get enough of Marc Jacobs Highliners in Brown(Out) and (Stone)Fox. Classic shades with modern twists and they glide on effortlessly.

Best brand for blush: Dolce & Gabbana (might as well be powdered silk), Clinique Cheek Pops, Illamasqua, Hourglass Ambient Lighting, Chanel and Dior for their gorgeous colors, but their formulas are sometimes on the dry side. I love blush.

Hey Alice! I love every single one of the colors, but I reach for Plum Pop the most. It’s a lovely cool pink. 2nd, surprisingly, is Ginger Pop, which gives me a really natural, muted nude-pink look. I have to use a light hand with Ginger Pop, but it blends like a dream. You should definitely try Cheek Pops…I bet you’ll love them.

Best brand for eyeliner? smashbox, maybelline, covergirl, chanel, tom ford… i use pür for my supersensitive skin and i love it, but it’s definitely not the most dramatic/easiest application/longest wear/nicest color out there
Best brand for blush? NARS is really the best blush. i like Dior (esp. Rosy Glow) and Bobbi Brown too

Skintone/Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.

Gloss: Revlon; I don’t believe it’s necessary to spend a lot of money on lip products in general, especially lip gloss. Revlon isn’t sticky, is high-shine, and has no discernable scent/taste. If I need to amp up the color/pigmentation, I have lipstick.

Eyeliner: UD 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, or Essence Long Wearing pencil liner for the waterline. These are the only 2 that actually last through anything on me.

Blush: NARS; whether powder, or Multiples, there’s a shade for all skintones.

Skintone: painfully pale olive. NARS Siberia, LMdB 2, D&G Classic, Chanel B10 in the summer. Dark auburn hair, green eyes.
Lipgloss: Marc Jacobs! Also the Guerlain Gloss d’Enfer. The only two brands this lipstick-lover can stand to wear.
Eyeliner: I have yet to find a brand whose eyeliner routinely impresses. The UD ones are underwhelming for me. Reccomendations?
Blush: Chanel for cream, NARS for powder.

Best brand for lipgloss? I don’t wear lipgloss. I can’t stand even the slightest sticky/tacky feeling on my lips.
Best brand for eyeliner? Make Up for Ever, Urban Decay, Tarina Tarantino, Sephora’s new Contour Eye Pencils.
Best brand for blush? I haven’t tried many blushes. I like the ones in the Urban Decay Anarchy face case.

Coloration: Snow White (character)
Lipgloss: The only lipgloss I don’t hate is Buxom.
Eyeliner: I like Sephora’s house brand a lot. Also Maybelline’s Gel liner rocks.
Blush: I am entirely too rosy, so I’m gonna shout out Silk Natural’s UnBlush for neutralizing skin.

Skin Tone? Pretty much as pale as it gets.
Best brand for lip gloss? Nyx. I love their butter gloss, and I don’t really like gloss so I refuse to spend a lot on them.
Best brand for eyeliner? Urban Decay!
Best brand for blush? Hourglass or Benefit. I find Hourglass to be more consistently wonderful, while some of Benefit’s blushes (Hervana in particular) don’t live up to the other great ones they have.

Best brand for lipgloss? I don’t wear lip gloss.

Best brand for eyeliner? I don’t have a lot of experience with eyeliner, but I really like Tarte Amazonian Clay eyeliner in Golden Tiger’s Eye

Best brand for blush? NARS and Lancome for powder blushes (I also love the Benefit box powders) and YSL Creme de Blush for cream blushes.

Skin tone: Fair with olive tones/Hourglass Shell.
Best Brand for lip gloss: Illamasqua, I’m not much of a gloss fan, but I do enjoy those.
Best Brand for Eyeliner: Rimmel, actually, with the Scandaleyes liners. I think that formula is basically the same as the Urban Decay 24/7 line (and a few others) but the black doesn’t make my eyes water if I put it on the waterline, whereas Zero and Perversion do.
Best Brand for blush: Probably MAC. Lots of colours, including some more unusual ones, and a predictable range of pigmentation levels.

Lipgloss: Benefit. I wish they’d just make more colours.
Eyeliner: I wear liquid only and Marc Jacobs is the king of that. I wish he’d make more shades too!
Blush: Haven’t been wowed yet, but I like MUFE’s cream offering and Mac always has the colour selection.

Liquid: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner.
Gel: MAC Fluidline or Urban Decay Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner
Pencil: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencils. Can’t beat that color line!
Pencil (waterline): Nars Larger than Life Longwear Eyeliner. Never budges from waterline!!!
Best brand for blush: Becca! Especially loving Damselfly right now.

Best brand for lipgloss? MAC Lip glass I love the feel of these.
Best brand for eyeliner? Laura Mercier gel liner, on me it lasts for 24+ hours with minimal fading in the inner corner of the eye, and it was really minimal.
Best brand for blush? Hard to chose just one, MAC and NARS, but also MG and Illamamsqua.

stick glosses, like UD + Nars, 2nd less feathering than tube/applicator glosses. i’m old.

1. UD. Never met a UD liner i didn’t like. 2. Stila smudge stick tied with MUFE aqua eyes 3. MJ: distant third. good colors, but poor on waterline + no staying power on me.
BUT I HAVEN’T DIPPED A TOE IN TARANTINO WATERS…know i’m drowned, there.

M. Francois Nars, followed distantly by Cargo (esp beach blushes), Tarte (uneven app; product varies in QC,) and vintage Chanel, not nec. in that order.

Best brand for lipgloss? MAC or Bobbi Brown; storebrand/drugstore brand: Femme Couture Monster Gloss (being discontinued 🙁 ) or Hard Candy.

Best brand for eyeliner? Urban Decay 24/7 for pencils; Tarte Amazonian Clay for gels. I don’t use liquids much, so I don’t know. I’ll be reading others’ comments for ideas on what to try.

MAC NC45/Revlon Colorstay Caramel
Best lipgloss: MAC because of the variety, but I generally like glosses with serious pigmentation regardless of brand. In other words, heavy on color until it reaches the borderline of almost being a lipstick.
Best eyeliner: the d/c’ed Loreal HIP crème eyeliners. I have yet to find one that has the pigmentation and staying power of those
Best blush: Milani
