1. I have naturally warm tan skin (Hispanic). Around NC 35 in Mac.
2. I only contour/highlight on weekends or when I’m going to an event.
3. I use TheBalm’s Bahama Mama. Has been my favorite so far!
4. I switch off between TheBalm’s Mary-Lou or Nars Copacabana Illuminator. I’m on the hunt for a good matte highlighter.
I love Bahama Mama too! My skintone also warm but light-medium
Anastasia Beverly Hills makes good matte highlighters (such as Vanilla).
Skintone: fair cool
Since I’ve bought Nars Contour Blush in Olympia, I’ve been contouring everyday.
It is – by far – my favorite contour/highlight product for my super pale skin.
Skin tone: light-medium olive
How often do you contour/highlight?: This is kind if a tough question because I don’t really do it that often, more like whenever I feel like it. I definitely do it for special occasions, but maybe only once a week or two if I’m spending a bit more time on makeup and/or just having fun with it.

Favorite highlighting product? Benefit Lemon Aid + Benefit Mary-Lou Manizer (the benefit lemon aid is a yellow primer but I use that to brighten the area my under eyes, centre of forehead and under where I contour under the cheekbones. Then I use the Mary-Lou Manizer on the tops of my cheekbones)

How often do you contour/highlight? I rarely do, only for special occasions.

My skin tone or coloring is usually the palest shade offered. I haven’t figured out how to contour since I’m so light. I highlight usually once every 2 weeks. My favorite highlighting item is wazz up by Benefit & soft& gentle by MAC.

I rarely contour, but I almost always highlight.
I like Sephora’s Sol de Rio bronzing powder. It is matte and is light enough for a pale gal. But it was a limited release.
For highlight I use a pale shimmer rose colored illuminating powder from Chanel, I can’t remember the exact product name, but it’s also discontinued 🙁
Skintone/Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.
How often: Every time I wear makeup!
Contour product: Smashbox Step By Step Sculpting Kit, although I’m still on the hunt for something even better!
Highlight product: I’m seriously addicted to Maybelline Master Hi-light powders…
My next purchase will be the Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow #4, and Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate. Becca Moonstone (pressed) is also next on the “Haul” list; I have Opal, but I don’t love the color on me.

I normally only do it on special occasions or when I’m in the mood to play around with make up.

I’m still on the hunt for it, most contour kits I’ve tried have been to dark for me so whenever I’ve used them it’s looked quite odd.

Urban Decay Virgin, not strictly a highlighter but whenever I contour I find this seems to be the best highlighter for me XD

How often do you contour/highlight? Every time I wear makeup. I’m so fair that I lose a lot of definition with foundation on. I like to add light contouring to get some of that definition back.
Favorite contour product? MAC Sculpt. However, I’m still on the hunt for the perfect contour color.
Favorite highlighting product? Powder: Laura Geller Baked Vanilla or Dior Amber Diamonds. Cream: NARS Copacabana or Benefit Highbeam.

Skin Tone: Fair, neutral, very freckly.
How Often: For highlighting, almost everyday, but I don’t contour. This is because, much like eyeliner, I do not know how.
Favorite Contour: I have TooFaced Milk Chocolate bronzer, but when I tried it, I just felt like my face looked dirty. It’s user error, for sure.
Favorite Highlighter: I LOVE highlighters and have a serious problem with the purchasing of them. My all-time favorites are: Lightscapade, Parure de Nuit, and Amber Diamond.
If you’re interested in contouring, try something withna hint of rose/pink. MUFE has a light pink-toned duo (#1), although I haven’t actually seen the new formulation in person (I have #2, and the formula is very nice). NYX Taupe has a rosier undertone, and is an inexpensive option, or if you have a NARS counter/Sephora near you, try Olympia. Anything too brown will just mingle with the freckling, causing it to look muddy.
MAC Brit Wit is pink, but can still work, as well!

Favorite highlight product: If I want something extremely subtle, YSL Touche Eclat #2 brings just a touch of lightness. For a true highlighter, Benefit Watt’s Up is my favorite.

How often do you contour/highlight? I highlight and contour when I do a full on full face. I skip contour, but not highlight if I’m wearing only a little makeup.

Favorite highlighting product? Love highlighters, so can’t pick just one. This summer it’s been all about Josie Maran Argan Illuminzer and Becca Opal for me.
Your skin tone/coloring: NC 45, Nars Macao, UD 9.0
How often do you contour/highlight?: I highlight virtually daily; I contour when I want to be fancy.
Favorite contour product? Ones that are dark enough are remarkably hard to come by for me. Mac had a collection of contour creams a few years back, so I use one of those in Naturally Honed. If I want a warmer contour, CoverGirl’s Queen Collection has a bronzer in Ebony that’s great.
Favorite highlighting product? The most flattering for me is TheBalm Betty Lou Manizer, but for a cream option I also like Nars 314BLKR.
To contour, I like using MAC’s eye shadow in Handwritten and Shea Moisture’s Illuminating Powder in Mandalay Dusk.
Med. Dark with neutral undertone.
I highlight more frequently than I contour.
I don’t have a favorite contour product, but if I contour I use Sleek’s Contour kit most often. Others are entirely too red.
Favorute highlighter: hourglass ambient powder in radiant light is my absolute favorite. So soft and subtle. 2nd runner up is Mac’s Magnetic Appeal skinfinish.

How often do you contour/highlight? I will contour when I’m going out in the evenings or a day time event. I don’t normally highlight as much but when I wanna do the most for evenings, I will. Oh but I guess I do highlight on a regular basis with hourglass’s radiant powder but consider it a setting powder ( not so much a highlighter) since I add radiant like a bronzer to warm up my skin (I will use diffused on my nose and to set my concealer, dim light for the rest of the face)
Favorite contour product? Kevyn aucoin med sculpting cream (creamy duo #4)
Favorite highlighting product? The three highlighters (not including ambient powders) I own seem interchangeable… Well at least candle light by KA (again in the creamy duos #4) and my hourglass bronzer/highlighter duo. The 3rd highligter is from benefit, watts up. I really don’t have a favorite but if I have to pick it would be the KA one. I’m interested in the balms Mary Lou highlighter and def gonna pick it up soon.

How often do you contour or highlight: I contour more often than I highight.
Favourite Contour Product: OCC’s Cream Colour Concentrate in John Doe. I’ve also used MAC’s blushes in Taupe and Strada for this. Sometimes I’ve contoured with Benefit Hoola.
Favourite Highlight Product: I don’t have one at the moment, but I definitely want to try one of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors. I had a sample of one (Opal), and it seems very nice. (The one I want to try is Pearl.) I’m also wanting to try some of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders; I think Ethereal Light and/or Incandescent Light (from the palette) would work brilliantly for me. *nods*

I never contour, but I do use Too Faced Sun Bunny bronzer on the high planes of the face and the decolletage a couple times a week instead of blush and highlight with Benefit Sunbeam when I do this. I highlight with blush unless I use Nars Orgasm since its shimmery.

I’ve finally found the perfect contour color for me! It’s Fawn from the Anastasia Contour Kit. (I’ve already purchased another “create your own” kit with two more Fawn pans!)
I choose my highlighter based on the colors I’m using for eyeshadow or blush. For browns & neutrals – Anastasia Sand; for mauves, peaches, & rose golds – Bobbi Brown Lilac Rose Shimmer Brick; for purples & pinks – Anna Sui 100 Rose Cheek Color.
I have a,pale olive skin Mediterranean color.I.tried contouring before it looks good in.pictures but on.my skin it looks too orange or brown.I.got a cream contour by Mac..a contour /bronzer in the Jasmine poo palette…never use it and a highlighter by Mac which is powder.the highlighter only looks good on.my.nose,chest to bring them.out.just makes my cheeks look greasy.I’ve been wanting to try nars Olympia,but the price is a lot for something I don’t really do.

Favorite highlighting product? NARS Copacabana for a shimmery finish, Maybelline white concealer for a more subtle look.
It’s interesting – I thought I’d be in a very tiny minority of people who rarely contour but it actually looks like I’ve got plenty of company!

How often do you contour/highlight? lately, I’ve been so lazy with my makeup routine so I only do it when I’m going out for a special occasion.
Favorite contour product? Chanel Les Beiges powder in shade no50 which is good for a subtler contour. I also like the Nars Multiple in Cap Vert for a cream product but I’m not sure if this is discontinued.
Favorite highlighting product? Hourglass Luminous Light or any of the Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks for a heavier glow.
The only product I really want to buy next is the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow – hope it’s as good as it looks!

Favorite highlighting product? I highlight under my eyes, forehead, bridge of nose, cupid’s bow and chin with LA girl pro concealers in Fawn or Toffee. I highlight the highest point of my cheek bones, bridge of nose, and cupid’s bow with NARS Albatross, The Balm highlighter (Cindy, Mary, Betty), or Sleek Blush in Rose Gold.

How often do you contour/highlight? I highlight almost every day for a healthy, glowy complexion, but only contour sometimes. Contouring can age the face.
Favorite contour product? NYX Taupe, NARS Zen, Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder, L’Oreal True Match Concealer Crayon (I buy a darker shade, draw it on, then blend it out. Works just as well as EM’s Chiaroscuro or the Tarte’s Sculptor and is customized for my skin tone and more affordable).

I rarely contour my cheeks because I already have a longer oval face so I don’t want it to look thinner, but I contour to my forehead and a little on the bulb of my nose. I do, however, add highlight almost all the time. The Kevyn Aucoin highlighter, although a powder is so finely milled and glowy. It is light, but works on my darker skin tone. It is a staple along with the fluid sheers.
