i wear a nude-ish blush with green shadow like tenderling. with browns, i wear pinks like well dressed and with purples i’ll wear a blush like pink swoon 🙂
no matter what eyeshadow color i wear i always wear either a light pink or light coral blush
they just look best with my skin tone
I’m gonna be all specific and go with: green = NARS Madly (esp if I’m doing a red or orange lip with it), browns = Milani Red Vino with Too Faced Candlelight highlighter (love it!) OR NARS Lustre, purples = NARS Angelika (I find the vibrant pink accents the purple so very well) with Tokidoki Kabuki highlighter.
I was in Vegas in May for my birthday armed with a $250 gift certificate I was determined to spend at the MUF botique at Sephora. I spent…nothing. No one would help me, I felt unwelcome and in the way. I’m glad your experience was different, mine left me sad and frustrated.

The Sephora right by the Venetian right? I was there this past March and I could not believe how rude they were! I still love Vegas thought 🙂
I have had lousy service at a # of in store Sephoras as well too. it’s either they bug me too much – or there is no one who has a clue about my questions on skin care products and I know way more than they do! Then to get through check out can be a night-mare.I feel like cattle going to slaughter always – no one ever takes time with you at check out to see if you found everything…take time to order on line if they are out of stock on an item you came in for. They seem to hire for style/look and not so much brains or making sure they have good inservice ongoing with products. There should always be a skin care know it all in the shop. If I am going to pay $100 for a cream I want to talk to someone about it if I have questions and have not already sold myself or had a sample. And what’s with those so tiny of samples I get from some who don’t give me more than enough for one try? I need a couple nights at least on an eye cream.

Green eyeshadow – nude/peach blush like Mac Warm Soul, or just bronzer like Too Faced Sun Bunny.
Brown e/s – peachy-pink or peach blush

What blush color do you wear with green eyeshadow? Dusty pink or light coral. Tenderling, with a pop of fluer power just on the apples looks gorgeous.
What blush color do you wear with brown eyeshadow? Anything! If it’s a red based brown, I wear Plum Foolery. If it’s orange based brown, I wear anything coral. If it’s neutral brown, I usually wear any kind of pink! And Oragasm looks great with ALL browns!

Orange
Green shadow- a coral or peachy pink blush. Brown shadow- a mocha or brown toned blush- something like the new Pressed Amber or Darkly my Dear from Mac. Purple shadow- a plum or purple toned blush- I love wearing Vintage Grape from Mac or Plum Nuance from Estee Lauder with purple.
I co-ordinate my lip and cheek colours more than worrying about what is on my eyes. So generally, I’m wearing a pink rose or berry toned blush and similar lipstick or if I’m wearing red on my lips, I’ll go with a slightly more red-toned blush. But eye shadow colour doesn’t really affect my blush choices.

Most of the time I wear bronze as blush or brownish blushes with pink undertones such as Darkly My Dear from the Venomous Villains collection from MAC (which is my favorite blush of all time!). I never really cared if my blush matches my eyeshadow, because somehow it looks just fine on me.

I don’t wear blush. I’ve never worn it and have none in my makeup stash either. I have no clue why though as I have just about every color of eyeshadow, eyeliner, etc.
My blush is always coordinated with my lip colour and that means many different colours.
With greens, I wear coral or nude/natural blush.
With browns, I wear pink blush.
With purples, I wear peach blush.
Green eyeshadow = a light flush of orange blush. Taj mahal sheered out seems to work for me
Brown eyeshadow = it usually means a neutral look so i would pair it with a bright or vibrant blush, something like the mufe mufe aqua creams
Purple eyeshadow = pink or mac’s flirt and tease, i love how it looks fab on my complexion
I pretty much wear Benefit’s Sugarbomb with everything, it is the perfect barely-there, yet still noticeable, blush for me. Sometimes if I am wearing brown eyeshadow I’ll wear Benefit’s Dallas, it gives me a darker, almost windburned look (as weird as it sounds it looks nice), that goes nicely with more natural colors.
green eye shadow = warm peach or pink blush, or bronzer – usually to match my lip colour
brown eye shadow = no blush. maybe just contour and highlight or a little bronzer.
purple eye shadow = peach/coral/orange or pink blush; again depending on my chosen lip colour.
green – coral or pink-brown
brown – coral, pink or plum. Anything goes with a neutral shadow, really.
purple – pink-brown or pink, depending on the shade of purple

Depends on the type of brown: if more neutral/taupe, I’ll do pink (like theBalm’s Down Boy) or coral; if more bronze, I’ll do coral or peach

Regardless of the eyeshadow, I’ll either wear a pink or a peachy/coral blush. I just use whatever I feel like, and don’t stick to any color “rules”. It’s just more fun 🙂

I don’t really wear blush much at all. I’m so very pale that I feel like they look silly. I usually end up using things that are meant to highlight as blush.
What blush color do you wear with green eyeshadow? soft pink, light bronze, nude anything, it really depends on how intense the eye look is, if it’s soft green i will go with soft pink and if it’s smokey with dark browns in the crease for example i wear a light bronze blush and if it’s smokey green with black or very intense green look i choose a nude blush most of the time a nude pink.

People who are too formularic in their color combinations tend to become make-up victims or look boring. How well colors will combine will ultimately depend on whether the predominant eyeshadow color is warm or cool and what undertones are contained in it. For example, I might wear something like Espiègle (soft peach) with the warm golden greens in Lancôme’s five color palette, but I’d wear something like Rose Écrin (soft, neutral rose) with Chanel’s aqua tinged Murano quad. It’s more about color theory than a hard fast “rule”.
