Unfortunately (fortunately?), I’ve long ago outgrown my train case, but I do find it exceptionally good for traveling. It’s hard on the outside, which means it’ll protect the goodies on the inside. What a good idea about the traincase! I am currently very frustrated with mine, I try to use it for at-home storage of just eyeshadows and pigments, but it’s too hard to see and reach everything…too many dark corners! It will now be relegated to the ‘travel’ section of my closet! And i looove the Sephora clear bottles, I don’t do a ton of flying but I use them for road trips, and homemade mixing medium

I am addicted to train cases – the only problem is, I need at least 3 of them on my vanity. And dwindling down what to pack in one for travel is the real challenge. 😉

i have that train case from sephora and i think it’s a bit crap because of the sizes of the compartments–when you open it fully, the compartments underneath are still partly covered, so not enough access to the lower compartments–things get lost in there! i wonder if an ordinary tackle box would be better?
