Stila, honey, noooooo. I had to do a double take on the product name. Glitter? Really? Most of us don’t want glitter on our cheeks. Couldn’t they have done the Shimmer & Glow formula instead? Sorry, but this is a hard pass for me.
Same here! Big no to glitter cheeks. Plus the shades look kind of dark for fair/light skintones too.
I experimented today with the cover fx glitter drops on my cheek bones with a purple mac highlighter ( inspired by the Alyssa video) it was gorgeous!
I have the CoverFX and the Revolution ones. They appear to be less glittery than the Stila. But of course will wait for Christine’s swatches.
Michele I think it depends on the application. I used an almost dry sponge with the cover fx glitter drops and then fingertips and it was intense. Interestingly the purple highlight over toned it down a bit. I would say it’s comparable to a strong highlighter. Very pretty.
Using the stila eye glitter with applicator and tapping my fingertip is subtle.
My cover fx drops were the purple ones now I’d like to get the blue ones.

The most glittery highlighter I’m willing to use on my cheeks is last year’s ABH x Nicole Guerriero Palette or CP Luster Dust in Aura Voir. These sound ridiculous, though.
I’d be interested if they were lip safe…
I wonder if they’re eye safe? It doesn’t say on their website that it isn’t. At least, not that I saw.
Darn I was so excited thinking these were going to be an extension of the range for eyes. Like that teal color looks AMAZING! 🙁

Im intrigued by these. I’m ok with a glittery highlight. But not a chunky glitter highlight. The swatches I’ve seen on Instagram have been pretty far away and I’m going to need to hear some reviews before I get one. I did buy the Cover FX Glitter Drops in Lunar, Mirage, and I got a sample of Aurora because I feel I have products to create a similar look to that one but I haven’t worn any of them yet. I saw Alissa Ashley’s video on the Cover FX Glitter Drops yesterday and she created a very beautiful look with them.
I’ll be intrigued to see how these swatch!
