For spring, there are three new Natasha Denona I Need a Nude Lipstick shades along with six new shades of YSL The Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick, though only four of the YSL shades were in stock when I made my purchase. Here are swatches of both lines!

Very Light, Pink, moderately pink undertones.

I hope the new ND shades are permanent! I just used Peony for the first time today and I love the color and formula so far

Very Light, Neutral undertones. Combination skin.

Ooh! I can see myself in any of those Natasha colors, especially Calla or Daphne for everyday.

Daphne vs Calla for me! Both are lovely MLBB nude type shades for me. Just not sure which of the two I will get.

These look to be really lovely MLBB kind of shades, but probably run too pink for me. I like the ND lipsticks better than the YSL’s slim mattes – apart from not liking the matte format, I find the slims to be not as much value for money.

Very Light, Neutral, slight yellow undertones. Combination skin.

I thought Peony might be one for me, but I think not now that I’ve seen it swatched. So far all the ND nude lipsticks have been wrong for me. I do love the colour of Peony just not for me.
The slim mattes from YSL aren’t among my favourite lipsticks, for some reason I think the form makes it harder to apply and the one I have (bought on sale) is drying on my lips. I can see them being popular though as the colours are nice.

I was hoping to snag one of the ND lipsticks, but they’re all very pink. Sephora’s photos are somewhat misleading as one looks like it would be more beigey-nude than just straight pink like all three actually are.

That YSL Cinnabar shade though…..lipsticks with a little orange look almost as good on me as the ones with a little brown.
