Joya reminds me a little of ColourPop’s Yes Please Palette. You did a beautiful eye look, Christine. Red bronze and Fuchsia are so pretty. So are Peach Bronze and Red Grape. Super nice holiday collection!
This is the new formula, I can’t wait for your review. Gorgeous colors and look!
I like the pop of blue with the warmer tones. This is a very pretty palette.
Agree Rachel.. that blue makes that palette
I had just managed to talk myself out of these, but the swatches are so pretty that now I’m changing my mind!
I almost bought the palette with the blue this morning with my discount. I’m so tempted; esp. after seeing your swatches.
I really love borh of these! And after seeing your swatches it’s even harder to decide! I love the eye look you created too.
These are so rich looking! Because I have CP Yes, Please, MAC Fruity Juicy palettes and ABH MR, I’ll likely pass on Joys. But Aeries will be far more difficult to resist!
Can u show the ingredients?
Please see the photos included in the post. They have been there since the post went up – same as always!
I was looking at the reviews online and it looks like a lot of people received these palettes damaged. That’s a bit of a problem for a high end palette! I wonder if the long and narrow shape is making the shadows more prone to breaking.
The first 5 pan Natasha Denona palette I purchased a while ago from Sephora arrived broken. They sent a replacement and that was broken too! That was the #5 purple palette that I love. I ordered Aeris I hope it doesn’t arrive damaged! Sephora really messed up my Pat McGraft eye shadow palette order. They sent the wrong palette twice! Apparently there’s some computer glitch, smh 🙁
They weren’t broken, the shadow had some how shrunk inwards from the pan, some just dropped out when the palette was opened. You can just press them back in, but shouldn’t be happening for the price you pay. I wrote on one of her instagram pics, and was told to contact the seller, Beautylish in my case, as always sent out a replacement straightaway. She also said it could be the way they were packed, BS Beautylish packing is very good, how my shadows weren’t broken was down to their packing, I live in the UK. I have noticed in other people’s IG pics and on YT that their shadows look like they have been pressed back in
I am kind of surprising myself as I like Aeris the most. A few years ago I wouldn’t even have looked a second time at a palette that had these warm colors and a blue. I swore off blue e/s in the 70’s. As I have stated before, I am not a huge ND e/s fan and I know that is flying in the face of the pretty much universal love for ND shadows. I am wondering if the one 5 pan shadow palette I purchased was defective or something. Or maybe just included a bunch of shades that blended to muddiness. May have to try again and see.
I like it too! I also steer clear of pale blue eyeshadows but this looks like an enchanting combination. I haven’t tried any ND yet, I can get it though Beautylish but for the price, it has to be perfect and I haven’t been convinced they’d work for me… can’t return makeup in NZ so it’s a big leap to make!
I have Joya on the way I hope it arrives safely, reading other comments about it coming broken doesn’t make me feel very happy. Fingers crossed!
No, I am not feeling the love on these two – lots of sparkly fall outs I think.
The second palette is to die for.
I really wanted to buy only one thing for the holiday season so I can put my budget on one nice thing (the viseart grand pro parlette) and I won’t waste so much money on things I won’t use on the long run (also my collection is big enough already..). but it’s really hard to resist these beauty (and they would be wonderful complement to the viseart palette). However, choosing one is really hard. I wonder how long do I have to think about it.. I wish they were permanent. For those who have it/them, which one did you choose or prefer and why?
Wouldn’t have given these a thought, even though I’m a fan of her eyeshadows, but you’re eye work was beautiful! I may consider these smaller holiday palettes now.
They look promising but probably a pass for me.
