LOL! And i thought its was just me! I only have the naked 1 palette and the wet n wild confort zone and thats enough for me, i get overwelmed so easy 😀

christina Avatar

Same here – it is just overwhelming for me! …but, that hasn’t stopped me from purchasing large palettes. Sigh! (I like 4/5 pan palettes, but any more than that…it is just too much!)

Phoebe Avatar

Pretty! a lot of them seem dupeable based on what I already have in my stash from MAC. Mocha looks like Woodwinked. Cool grey looks like matte Satin Taupe.

Because Lorac is no longer sold in Canada, I’m hoping to pick up one of the Pro palettes when we go to NYC in a few weeks (assuming we do go) so I’m going to have to do some serious comparing between this one and the original to try to figure which would be the better choice for me (I’d like to avoid getting both, if only to avoid the dismayed looks of both my husband and son!). I might also grab the Unzipped palette if it’s available.

Naty Avatar

People please help me.
I am from Europe and I have relatives travelling to NYC soon. Where can they find Lorac products? Because I know they are no longer sold in Sephora.

Please help 🙁

Hannah Avatar

Oh sweet mother!!!!! If somebody asked me to put that number of shades in a palette, THOSE would be them!! Like.. ALL of them!!! I’m shaking from the excitement!………….. too bad I can’t get it in the EU. Life’s such a joke! D: ahah

Laura Avatar

Yay! So pretty! I don’t have the first one, but so far it looks like I’ll be picking this one up before the original. I’m really liking chrome, beige, and navy.

Mine arrived last night and I’m absolutely loving it so far. I feel like the shimmers are even creamier this time around. Can’t wait to start working on looks with it!

StrangeOne Avatar

I just bought the pro 1 thinking it was more day but this is making me all grabby fingers again. I love this formula and mattes and shimmers combo together works way more other palettes. I’m hoping this palette gets a good grade.

This is exciting- thank you for the swatches, Christine! I skipped Lorac Pro 1.0, it was not my cup of tea- I was too distracted by my Naked3 to care about much else, but now my attention is piqued! The only color I’m not enamored with here is Jade. Looks like a great texture and finish but just out of personal preference, I don’t think I’d wear it much. Also, the way they included the plum and navy shades in there with the nudes reminds me of my Kat Von D Ladybird palette, except that one’s all matte. Still… I’m tempted.. sighhh.

CeliaV Avatar

I tried jade on my lids in a look today and it has lovely dimension. I think you’ll like it once you get the chance to play with it 🙂 Looks really pretty with Chrome blended into it as well.

Abryda Avatar

Looks very dupeable with all what I have in my collection especially the first 8 on the left hand side of the palette. Just seems ehhh to me.

Nikki J. Avatar

I totally agree: I’m going to stick with my tried and true neutrals! I’m in love with my original LORAC Pro Palette, and it’s the only palette I use regularly now. Honestly, I’m glad this palette has more colorful shades in it. I hardly ever wear color on my lids, and I was worried I’d be tempted to buy this one too since the first one is so awesome! Whew, glad I dodged that bullet (and saved some money in the process)! 🙂

Christine, why do some people have a “report user” button after their message and others not? I’ve never noticed this before and I also can’t see any rhyme or reason – some “non-registered” users have it while others who appear to be registered also have it.

Christine Avatar

Hi Mariella,

It’s to combat spam users so that if one gets through our filters, that someone in the community can report them for spam. It only shows for registered users – I haven’t seen it for others, but since it seems to be confusing, I’ve removed it at this time.

Chanel Avatar

This is such a better deal than the naked palettes, 16 shadows for $42 and the naked palettes are 12 shadows for $52. Also this looks more versatile in my opinion. My favorite is plum and navy.

Tracy Avatar

As pretty as this palette may be I may pass on this one seeing as some of the colors are similar to my Cargo Vintage palette. Plus I had a lot of fallout with the first so I’m interested to see if this one is the same. Anyone else have fallout issues with #1?

BOTTÂNICA BOTTANIQUE Avatar

Loved loved loved NAVY. For me, it’s the only unique shade. I don’t know how to get it without purchasing this palette, which is a good pallete in my opinion, but too much dupleable. I also liked ‘Jade’ and ‘Nectar’. ‘Nectar’ looks so rich! Well, if somebody order this palette and don’t like blue eyeshadows, please, sell it to me (LOL)!

Kelsey Avatar

I just received this palette in the mail today. It’s a hit for me, for the most part. I don’t find that the quality is the same in comparison to the first PRO palette, but still, it’s nice and it’ll be loved.

Veronica Avatar

Just as I figured, it’s going to lean too warm for me. Ah well. This being said, there needs to be more shades like Cool Grey and Charcoal on the market. It’s bizarre how hard it can be to find singles of matte greys!

Genevieve Avatar

I think it is an excellent palette for those who don’t have a neutral palette in their collection. I really like the fact they have included a very rich navy (very partial to that colour) and the jade looks beautiful. With all the matte and shimmer shades this collection would suit a lot of people.

nueyork Avatar

I love the original colour selection more overall, but I am dying over the shade ‘Navy’. I’m so glad I’ve been seeing these royal blues everywhere, they are so stunning!

Quinctia Avatar

Nice basics sort of palette, looks like. I really do like Lorac’s shadow formula. Still hoping they do a smaller palette with some interesting shades, simply because I don’t have a need for more shades like the ones in the pro or unzipped palettes, but I do like their product!

Helene Avatar

What a handsome palette! Pity it’s not available here. I just might have to call all my friends, and their friends to see if anyone is going to the US soon 🙂
I really love Jade, but all in all it seems very wearable.
